Happy Adoption Day to my little boy, Lyncoln!

He's currently taking up my space on the bed! I'm sleepy, but he's just so cute that I don't wanna move him! 😂😂

Anyways, after the colonoscopy I had done this morning, I forgot completely that it was his adoption day! I'm so glad that I gave him a snack, and that he's here in my bed so I can love on my furry buddy!

I've had him for four years now, and I must say, every day is fantastic with this big boy! I can honestly say that I cannot live happily without a cat. When I lost my first indoor cat, Meowmie, whom I'd had for three years, I cried about every day. When I lost my next cat, Thomas, I was so sad and broken-hearted. Then this little guy came slone after I prayed for him in specific detail, and I was happy again, and I love this gift from God! He spoils me; I sure don't deserve all that God does for me. So the fact that He answers even the little things... it's really something to think about.

Thank you, Dear Lord, for the precious feline you gave to me four years ago this day. Around this time four years ago, he was a tiny little kitten cuddling next to me in bed. I still remember waking up early in the morning to hear his desperate meowing, and I remember discovering that he'd fallen between my bed and the wall onto the floor. Silly kitten! So I scooped him up and he stayed with me all night, then woke me up the next morning by licking my nose. I miss that! Now he reaches his paw up and bats my nose! 😂😂😂😂

I love this baby boy so much, and I hope to have him until he should die of old age. I've never had a furry companion for that long, and I hope that this Lynx of mine will be the first.
