You watch as the dwarf known as, Bofur, cautiously walks around, searching for another dwarf, you.

You hide up in the trees trying not to laugh, he was always taught to sometimes look in the trees, you never know what might lurk in them ready to attack.

"Okay (Y/N)! I give up" Too easy. You jump down from the tree branch behind him and he jumps in the air in shock "I said you would never find me" You cross your arms over your chest.

"Okay I guess I may have to look better next time" He chuckles "But I think I now what we can do that I could just beat you at" A smirk forms from his lips then all of a sudden he takes.

Oh Bofur, always up for races. You run after him, jumping over obstacles that block the trail. You have Bofur in your sight.

You laugh to yourself as you quickly catch up him. You follow him through the gates and getting hot on his heels you take this chance to jump onto his back.

You both tumble to the ground and run into a pile of baskets. Throwing a basket off your head and you look at Bofur on the ground. Then an angry marketer comes around shouting at you both in dwarvish.

"Sorry" You apologize. Giving Bofur a hand up off the ground you walk away laughing at the fail "That's was all too fun" He chuckles

"I second that" You take his hat off his head and put it yours "How do I look?"

You are the only one that Bofur will allow to wear, even just touch, his hat. When you two were little you can remember trying to always fix his hat because it was too big for him, but now you always take it from him.

"Wonderful my dear las" He winks and your cheeks turn red.

During the night, as of every night, you and Bofur sneak out and head into the forest just to do anything.

"You know I wager one day that we will be caught and heaven knows what Thorin would do" You wage.

"How much you got?" He raises an eyebrow "Because I wager that we, my dear las, will not get caught since I am as stealthy and quiet as a cat" He goes into a whisper.

"Okay then, we get caught you owe me 12 coins" You cross your arms over your chest.

"Alrighty then, we don't get caught you cough up 12 coins" He puts his hand out and you shake on it. You so won because on the way here you saw Thorin glaring at you both as you two were leaving. You didn't tell Bofur because of course you needed 12 coins to buy a new boots.

"So what shall we do las?" He claps his hands together.

"I think you two are in deep trouble" A smirk forms on your lips hearing Thorin's voice. He walks in the clearing with his hands behind his back "You knew he was watching us?" Bofur says in disbelief "You cheated"

"What of it dear Bofur? Upset that a female took this chance to finally get new pair of boots" You laugh at the face that Bofur has "Bofur close your mouth you'll catch flies. Now get back home and I'll sort out your punishments in the morning" He gestures us to move and Bofur walks ahead.

"But, dad I have to get those riding boots or else their gone" You complain "These one are falling apart"

"Should have thought of that before sneaking out" You groan and walk off.

Ahead you see Bofur walking so you take this last chance to brighten the mood. Running up to him you jump on his back and you both tumble to the ground.
