But nothing goes as planned at Olympus High.

Prologue

If you asked any of them how the fight started, they wouldn't have had an answer. But somehow a bunch of students got in a fight. Nothing new. It was the daily entertainment.

These brawlers rarely spoke outside of their fights. Keeping to themselves or only talking to one or two others. They weren't friends nor were they mortal enemies. But when two pissed each other off. The others joined in and there was no going back. They would go all our while classmates cheered them on.

Welcome to Olympus High.

Percy sighed from where he sat watching the swim team. He sat in the bleachers just wishing he could dive right in. But he couldn't do that.

"You should actually join in instead of just watching for once," Coach Triton told him as he walked over.

Percy shook his head as he always did. "My answer still isn't changing." Percy stood and grabbed his bag.

"I don't understand why you refuse to swim. You used to like it."

"I'm surprised you even care what I do," Percy replied about to walk away. Triton grabbed his arm but Percy quickly pulled it back. "Just tell dad I said hi," he spat before walking out.

Annabeth shuts her notebook with a content sigh. As the student council disperses. Annabeth checks her watch. Nodding she grabs her books and heads to the library to study for tomorrow's physics test.

"You have to go home eventually Mr. Valdez."

Leo jerked up from what he was designing and looked at the clock. Wow a lot of time had passed it had almost been an hour. "Sorry Mr. H," Leo apologized gathering his stuff.

Mr. H chuckled. "No problem whatsoever. I enjoy watching you work. You remind me of well, a younger me."

"Thanks, but honestly I prefer working with metal but this is the closet thing we've got at the school."

"Well it's good to see you're enjoying the school. Has it been hard for you? It's only been a month since you joined us?"

"Three weeks," Leo corrects. "But it's good."

"That's good. Well, I'll see you Monday Mr. Valdez."

Leo nodded and headed out.

"Hey Thals," Luke greets as he swings an arm around his girlfriend's shoulder.

"Hey," Thalia replies looking at the three boys. Luke, Jason and Frank. "How was practice?"

Jason laughed a bit nervously. "Um... Hey- there's Piper! Hey!"

"You're telling me later," Thalia whispered to Luke.

He nodded. "Of course."

"Hey guys," Piper greeted as she walked over from the other cheerleaders. "No Hazel?"

"She's with her brother," Frank says. "She said it was something really important."

"We should go," Hazel told Nico. "It's supposed to snow later. It's better we go earlier."

"I'm not sure if I can," Nico said quietly.

"Can you at least come out of the janitor's closet?

Nico sighed as he stepped out. "I can't believe it's been a year."

Hazel said nothing but took his hand comfortingly as she began to lead him toward the front of the school.

"I'm gonna destroy him one day Rach."

"And I'll paint the whole thing to document the important moment," Rachel replies.

Percy laughs a bit. Rachel always knew how to make him smile.

"Race ya," Rachel says. "Loser buys snacks. It's movie night after all."

Percy nods. "Okay, 1... 2-"

"Go!"  Rachel shouts sprinting off. 

"Hey!" Percy shouts chasing after.

Luke hits the ground hard as a boy slams into him. He groans and pulls himself up glaring at the raven haired boy in front of him.

The other boy shrinks slightly. "S-sorry," he apologized.

"That's not good enough Jackson," Luke shouts.

"Leave him alone Castellan," Nico says walking up with Hazel.

"Shut it freak. I can do what I want."

"Here we go again," Frank thinks.

Luke to make his point turns back to Percy. He throws a punch at Percy who dodges. Rachel begins to pull things from her bag and chuck them at Luke. She successful nails him in the eye with her blue hair brush.

Thalia grabs the stuff from her hands and holds on tight to the other girl as she yells.

Leo pauses at the scene in front of him debating whether or not to get involved. That's when he he plowed over by a blonde girl.

"Stop it Thalia!" Annabeth shouts hurrying over.

"Who's side are you on!?" Thalia shouts back.

Leo sighs peels himself up and finds his  bag in the middle of the chaos. Guess he has to get involved.

Will smiles as he waves goodbye to Mr. Asclepius or Mr. A, the school nurse.

He hurries down the hall racing to meet up with friends when he hears shouting. And turns the hall to see a large group yelling and fighting. He watches as one boy gets hit in the head pretty hard.

Against better judgement he rushed forward to try to stop the chaos. He doesn't get to do much.

"Enough!" Eyes turn to Principal Brunner. "In my office now."

"I've had it with you all," Principal Brunner says cutting to the chase. "Detention after detention seems to do nothing to punish you. So, I've come up with something new. A sort of... "bonding experience". A sleepover to be exact. You will be left alone in the school from 7 pm tomorrow until 7 am Sunday morning." He immediately holds up a hand to silence all groans, and shouts of complaint. "I will review the school cameras to see how it goes. And if he doesn't go well or a don't show up, you will all be suspended for three weeks minimum."

"What!?"

"Enough. I've made up my mind. I-"

"Sir!" Will interjects. "I was just trying to stop them!"

"I'm sorry Mr. Solace but all involved must be punished. I'll see you all here at 7 pm tomorrow."

As the group heads out the school two hang back a bit talking. "You know this may not be that bad..."

"How so?"

"We can have some fun with this. We're alone all night after all. Why not... Mess with some peoples heads?"

"I dunno..."

"Don't over a think it. But I have an idea."

"Fine. Shoot."

"Okay my plan is..."

"You're insane."

"But you're smiling."

"Okay I admit it could be pretty cool and funny. Alright I'm in. But we're gonna need others to pull this off. Maybe we can leave one or two people out," they pulled out a pen and scribbled on a piece of paper. "This is my number. Text me and we can plan this out."

"Let's do this!"
