9:00 PM

A scream sounds through the school grabbing the students attention. One by one or in groups they make their way to the pool.

No one understand what's going on at first until they find a trio standing over something.

"R-Rachel?" Percy gasps tears threatening to fall from his eyes. He nearly girls as he stares down at his one true friend laying on the floor. Her eyes are half open and there is a gash on her neck where blood now is. Her clothes are soaked.

Others soon begin to react. Tears fall. Others gag.

"Oh my god."

"Is she... Dead?"

"How?"

"But..."

Will slowly steps forward and takes her wrist. After a moment he declares that there is no pulse.

"Which one of you did it?" Percy asks finally. "Who killed her!" No one spoke for a moment. Then the silence was broken.

Finally all eyes turned to Leo who was mimicking the Law and Order SVU  theme. "Sorry," he muttered.

"There's a trail of blood," Annabeth says pointing with her flashlight. Silently they rise and begin to follow the trail. The trail leads out in front of a  water fountain where blood is mixed in with the water surrounding it. Blood lies on the floor.

"She was killed drinking water?" Jason asks confused.

Leo let out a low whistle. "What a way to go."

"We should do something with her body. Can't just leave it there..." Luke says.

"You're not supposed to touch crime scenes," Annabeth tells them.

"So you just want to leave her there?" Thalia asks.

Finally they come to an agreement.

"Where should we put her?" Hazel asks.

"She is... She's always happy in the art room," Percy says quietly.

They head back for the body where Frank, Jason, Percy (against others advice) lift her. They shuffle in the dark to the art room and lay her on the floor.

Percy begins to sniffle and everyone leaves to give him a moment.

When they do Percy bends down to her body. "Who knew you were such a good actress?"

"Right back at ya Jackson," Rachel breathes her mouth twitches into a smile.

"I brought a blanket," Will says walking in.

Rachel nods as he lays it over her "dead" body.

"At first I wasn't sure. Even thought this might be funny," Will says. "But now it's kinda cruel..."

"Too late now. Most out there are already in on it," Rachel says softly from under the blanket.

Percy opens his mouth to speak when the door opens.

"I think we should all talk..." Annabeth says. Percy nods and slowly rises to his feet and follows her out. Will right behind him. The rest of the teens stand outside the room waiting for them.

"I refuse to believe someone here killed her," Annabeth says more confidently than she actually feels.

"Oh really then who did it?" Luke asks. "We are the only ones here. Whoever did it needs to confess now."

Eyes go around but no one speaks.

"Well gang, it's time to  split up and look for clues," Leo says.

"That's not actually a bad idea," Annabeth says. "But let's go in pairs."

"And if my partner is the pyscho killer?" Piper asks.

"Well we will know who it is once you turn up dead," Thalia comments. Piper only rolls her eyes.

"So who goes with who? Will asks. Eyes float around.

Jason ends up with Piper. Thalia with Luke. Hazel looks between Frank and her brother.

Fed up with this Thalia decides to make the decisions for them. "Me and Luke. Jason and Piper. Hazel and Frank. Annabeth and uh... Percy. And that leaves Nico with Will. And Leo... Supervise my brother. Make sure it stays PG." Jason's glare is ignored. "Okay? Break."

Slowly the group begins to disperse. And they walk off in different directions.

"You gonna be okay?" Annabeth asks him as Percy shuffles his feet.

Percy nods slowly. "I guess. I know she wouldn't want me to be upset... But..."

"She was your best friend. It's okay to be upset."

"She was my only real friend though..."

"That's a lie."

"What?" Percy asked looking at her confused.

"I said that's a lie. I'm a your friend now got that?"

Percy gave her a small smile. "Got it."

"I can't believe this actually worked."

"I know right? Just give it a bit more and then Brunner will come in and free us. The next one is supposed to happen in the other part of the building closer to where they power is still on so it things should go well."

"Well now what?"

"Well we are supposed to be looking for non existent clues so... We can do whatever. I'm gonna find a vending machine. You coming?"

A pair made their way silently to the art room. Rachel waves from where she was getting the prosthetics and other stuff ready. She applies some to one of them then both quickly hurry to their positions.

When they arrive they wait in the bathroom until it's time.

"I still can't believe we are doing this. Why did I agree to this?"

"Same reason I did. If you didn't then you would've been a victim of this sick prank or have had to watch from the sidelines. 'If you can't beat 'em join 'em' isn't that the saying?"

"You're not the one who's supposed to die..."

"Yeah but I'm the suspect. That's worse. Be happy you get to play the victim."

"Ugh it's getting closer to ten I guess we should get ready."

The other nods and walks out the bathroom and leans against the door. "Knock twice when it's time."

An 'Okay' is called through the door.

"What are we supposed to be looking for?" Piper asks.

"Something to prove that we are innocent," Leo answers.

"Why is the power working over there?" Jason asks. True enough part of the school sits in darkness and the other part is as bright as usual.

"Does it matter?" Leo asks. "Let's just keep-"

At the moment everything is plunged into darkness. A glare is sent toward Leo in the dark but he is just as confused.

Blocks away a driver had skidded on ice and hit a pole. No one was badly hurt but power lines had fallen. The power would be out for a while.

The trio didn't get to question the power long when they heard banging and shouting.

Even without power the second "murder" had still been committed.

YUP! ITS A PRANK!
(For those who didn't realize this when they were texting or in the description or rhyme thing.

It was all just a prank
No one was supposed to die
But nothing goes as planned at Olympus High)

Anyway don't get your hopes up. There will be actual murders in this too.

Just you wait.
