"Alright. You remember your part right?"
"Course. It's not that hard to remember," the answer followed by a smile. "Maybe I'll get detention more often."
"Please do. Join the crew."
"So the power is out in 30 right?"
A nod. "30 and then I lay down. They find me. You do your part and BOOM! We have a live game of Clue!"
"I'll go hide then."

Luke slipped in the boy's locker room. He headed for the stalls and took out his other phone. He opened the simple phone and sent off a quick message before he tucked it in his inside jacket pocket.
Once done he headed back out like nothing had happened.
~~~~
"You actually have a nap corner," Annabeth commented.
Percy looks up to her from his nap corner. His corner was up against a wall where a bookshelf has been moved. It had been that way years before they had come to the school. Another student had made it but that didn't mean Percy couldn't take advantage of it.
"I said I did, didn't I?"
Annabeth shrugged.
"I wish I had my phone," Percy pouted.
"Your that bored already?"
Percy shook his head. "I wanted to call my little brother. I normally put him to bed myself. Things can be hard sometimes, so I wanted to call."
"Oh," Annabeth said surprised by his answer. "I sorta get that. I have two younger brothers- Bobby and Matthew. They can be little demons sometimes. How old is your brother?"
"Younger brother," Percy corrected. "And he's nine."
"You have an older brother then?"
Percy made a face but nodded nonetheless. "Unfortunately."
"I take it you both don't have a good relationship."
Percy nodded. "You've met the ass. What do you expect?"
Annabeth looked at him blankly. "I've met him?"
"Triton," Percy spat.
"Triton... As in Coach Triton Olympian? The swim coach?"
"Unfortunately. And yes we don't get along. He's a part of the reason I'm not on the swim team."
"I don't get along with my stepmother," Annabeth added in. "She hates me in favor of my brothers her children."
"I guess we both have strange families," Percy says with a small smile.
Annabeth nodded and returned it.
"Found you!" Frank shouts. He had been wandering for a while and looking in random rooms finding no one. Finally he found someone.
"Yeah. Yeah. You found me," Leo says as he climbs out from under Mr. H's desk. He follows Frank out the wood shop.
"Where should we look now?" Frank asks the other boy, watching him nervously. Frank didn't really know much about Leo. He knew he was the new kid and always somehow got himself caught in their fights. At first Frank felt kind of bad for Leo getting into to trouble when he hadn't really done anything. But that feeling started to disappear when Leo had hit on Hazel.
Leo pauses. "I gotta run to get something from my bag. I'll call out anyone I see on the way back." Leo doesn't wait for Frank to reply and walks off.
Frank watches him go confused before he heads off ducking into more rooms to find people. Why did he have to get stuck with this job?
~~~~~
"I thought I told you find your own hiding spot?" Thalia glared. Luke looked up surprised.
"That was my plan..." Luke answered. "I'll leave but, can I ask a question first?"
"Shoot."
"Why are you hiding in a boy's bathroom?"
"Cause this place is so disgusting no one would think- no dare to look in here. Honestly I'm so disgusted I'm thinking of cleaning in here."
"Don't you might catch something."
"True. Now get out. I'm hiding here."
~~~~
Will sighed and kicked the cabinet beside him. He winced in pain.
How did he even get caught up in this?
Oh right. He tried to stop a fight.
Another thing to put on his list of things not to do again. Get detention? Maybe. Stop a fight? Definitely never again.
~~~~
Nico stared out at the heavy falling snow hitting the ground. He sat on the windowsill. It was just like tonight a year ago when she....
"What's he doing?"
"Who?"
"That guy he's just standing in the street. He's gonna get hit or something..."
"Come on. We need to go get Hazel. Where'd you park the-"
"Hey! Look out!"
She was gone in an instant. She hadn't hesitated. She just pushed him out the way. She saved his life without a second thought.
And that's why he's here and she's not. It should be her in detention with him. No- she wouldn't even have let him get involved. She would've stepped in herself.
He shook his head and wiped the tears which threatened to fall. Not now.
Not now.
~~~~
Hazel wandered. Part of her wanted to check on Nico but she knew he needed his space. Well maybe she could go back and just peek in the room. Or maybe she could hide in the room next-
"Found you!"
A startled shriek escaped Hazel's lips as her eyes fell upon Frank.
"That's not much of a hiding spot," Frank commented.
Hazel shook her head regaining her normal heart rate. "You nearly scared me to death."
"Good thing I didn't then. I need help finding the others."
~~~~
A glance at the clock. A glare toward the electrical box.
A glance. A glare. A glance. A glare. More glaring. Glaring at the clock now. Glaring between the two.
The 2o minutes had gone slow enough. Another ten seemed like hell.
"Screw it. I can't wait any longer. Let's get started!"
A switch is thrown and buttons are pressed. Plunging the majority of the school into darkness.
A few smiles spread across faces. Time to get started.
~~~~
"Damnit now I can't see what I'm doing," Piper said standing up and kicking the locker in front of her.
"Perhaps it's for the best," Jason said attempting to calm her. "It's not the best idea to vandalize people's lockers."
"She's not a person she's my half sister. A demon. She just had to transfer here. She couldn't stay at her BAG school. Noooo. She had to come here. Also stop being such a golden boy."
"Golden boy?"
"Yeah. Golden boy? Goody two shoes? You get my point?"
"Whatever," Jason replied with an eye roll. "Come on Pipes. We should go find the others. It's not good that the power went out. We should try turn it back-"
"I know! I'll get my flashlight! You wait here! I'll be right back!" Piper ran off without another word.
"Great..." Jason frowned.
~~~~
"Eager bastard," a voice chuckled.
They person walks out the room and quickly heads for the predetermined destination before laying down on the floor.
Now to lie in wait.
Literally.
~~~~
"Let's check the pool," Leo (who had rejoined the other two) suggests. "Based on what people say about him Jackson loves water. He is bound to be there."
"The power went out. Shouldn't you be more concerned?" Frank asked.
"Nah. Brunner will be back soon to let us out once he sees the power is out. So might as well finish the game in the meantime."
Hazel nods. "Come on. This way."
The three continue until they enter the dark pool. Leo swings his flashlight to and fro searching.
Frank shuffles behind the other two until his foot connects with something causing him to trip and crash into the floor. "Owww," he groans pushing himself up. He touches the thing he tripped on and finds it... Odd... It has a nose?
"You okay Frank?" Hazel asks.
"Yeah," he calls back.
Leo swings the flashlight toward the direction of the other boys voice only to let the light slip from his hands. A scream comes from Hazel's lips and Frank scrambles back until he finds himself inside the pool water.
"Is-is t-that...?" Leo started ask while staring down at it. "I think I'm gonna puke."
