What Became of the Sub-tribes and their Ali-humans
Chapter 22; Isolation from the Kingdoms
The remaining members of the remaining 4 sub-tribes scattered throughout the kingdom, desperate to escape the wrath of the dystopians and keep their ali-humans safe. The lands where the lone trolls would live in would later be called "The Hinterlands".
From there, the sub-tribes would live in their own lands, far from the main kingdoms of music and cut off all forms of communications with them, though the sub-tribes remained on speaking terms.
As for the ali-humans of the sub-tribes, while they missed their brethren in the main kingdoms, they knew this was for the best, since they were still so young, they did not need to be involved in any sort of conflicts and not harm the others, So they stayed out of the way.
Chapter 23; The Echoes of Hallelujah
As the war between the trolls and dystopians raged forth, the other sub-tribes remained hidden in their hiding places, not wanting to get involved in the conflict due to having already lost most of them to the dystopians when they invaded the kingdom. With each day as the war continued, the sky became clouded with smoke and fire, the stench of death being everywhere. But still the sub-tribes remained hidden.
But it wasn't enough, not wanting the dystopians to hurt their ali-humans, they hid them within a burrow they dug out for them, where they would be safe from the dangers of the outsides. On days where it seemed bleak and hopeless, the ali-human of jazz would send prayers to cajus, praying he would send a miracle.
"Now I heard there was a sacred chord"
"That'd echo out throughout the night"
"But you would never hear her voice now would ya?"
"In a burrow in the hinterlands"
"She basks in the moon's aura"
"The ali-human with red hair cries 'Hallelujah'"
"Hallelujah, Hallelujah..."
"Hallelujah, Hallelujah..."
"They say her name was Ariana"
"With eyes as pink as cherry blossoms"
"And a voice like satin wrapped in all the moonlight"
"There's a sparkle mixed in with all her words"
"She sits before the moon itself"
"And from her lips she draws a Hallelujah"
"Hallelujah, Hallelujah..."
"Hallelujah, Hallelujah..."
"She hides in the burrow with her kin"
"All are hiding from the darkness"
"And every night she sat there waiting"
"'O cajus please just hear me now'"
"'Just when will this conflict end?'"
"'It's a cold and gruelling Hallelujah!'"
"Hallelujah, Hallelujah..."
"Hallelujah, Hallelujah..."
"'Even though it's all wrong now'"
"'I'll stand before the God of Trolls'"
"'With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah'"
"Hallelujah, Hallelujah..."
"Hallelujah, Hallelu..."
"Hallelujah, Hallelujah..."
"Hallelujah, Hallelu..."
"Hallelujah..."
Finally, one day a K-pop troll from the K-pop tribe announced with great fanfare that the war had come to an end and that the dystopians were gone. And so the sub-tribes left their hiding spots and rejoiced in great feelings. It seemed that Cajus had heard ariana's prayers and answered them.
Chapter 24; Picking up the pieces
After the war was over, the sub-tribes were now beginning to slowly pick up the pieces and the girls were finally able to leave the burrow, They could finally soar through the clouds, swim in rivers, walk trails in the forest and much more. But because of their inexperience, they had a lot to learn before they could explore on their owns.
But something was haunting one of them...ariana, memories about the war were floating in the back of her head and it seemed to be taking a bit of a toll on the poor girl. She didn't sleep as much as she would and stayed hidden within the burrow they lived in during the whole ordeal and it was practically their home.
The sub-tribes seemed to notice and started to become increasingly more worried as months passed, they noticed her behaviour was changing a lot, she was sleep-deprived, irritable and she seemed to be in a bit in a melancholic state. The other sub-tribes took notice and they gave everything they could to help the poor girl but nothing seemed to work.
Chapter 25; A visit from the Heavens
One night, as the girls slept in their burrow, an angel sent down from the heavens appeared before her. "Ariana, princess of the jazz trolls, we've gotten a prayer from your subjects concerning your wellbeing...what is it that is bothering you?" The angel asked with a soft tone in its voice. Ariana held her arm and started speaking, "W- well you see, it's just that...we're-...kind of struggling to move on from the war...it's just that, we didn't do anything to help and it's killing me! I just wish I could have helped them..." She explained to the angel as she looked down solemnly.
Then she felt it tilt her chin up slightly before it once again spoke. "You DID help ariana...even though it did not seem like it, the prayers you sent to Cajus during the troubling times were more than enough help" The angel spoke softly. "But we all must learn to not let the past cloud our minds and look forward to the future..." It said once more before it faded back to where it came. Ariana felt confused, but...she felt at peace.
Chapter 26; The Light at the End of the Darkness
Many centuries later after the main kingdoms split into six, the girls were adopted by some members of the sub-tribes. Ariana was adopted by a loving family of jazz trolls, the family consisted of a light purple jazz troll with black hair named William, his wife, charlotte who was a greenish jazz troll with red hair, and their young son Chaz.
Camila was taken in by a trio of teenage reggaeton trolls by the names of Tressilo and his two backup dancers Marimba and Tambora. Tressilo often referrers to Camila as the feisty and rambunctious little spitfire who has an eye for the art of reggaeton dancing. Overtime, Camila began to feel right at home with the trio, often being the second-in-command to Tressilo.
The same was said for Ana who was brought under the wings of a group of five K-pop trolls; Kim-Petit, Gomdori, Baby-bun, Ari and their leader in blue Wani. The five K-poppers took an instant liking to the young ali-human and got to work on making her one of the best of their group. When they weren't dancing their hearts out, they often all hang out together as a family, giving Ana all the love she could ever want.
Jolene was brought under the care of two yodeller brothers, the oldest being a short little troll named Dickory and his younger and more taller brother Hickory. Dickory was more hard-headed and tough to Jolene, to let her know that she was the lesser sister and that he was the boss. Hickory however was more kind to her, providing her comfort and reassurance that Dickory would eventually come to terms with the face that she was now apart of their family now and nothing was going to change that. Jolene believed Hickory and always knew the day where Dickory would finally accept her as a family would come. And they were right, after a few months, Dickory stopped putting her down as much as he would and even allowed her to hug him a few times, albeit grumpily.
Finally, the sub-tribe ali-humans had finally found piece within their new families. Perhaps things would be better now.
