From Within the Struggle

There was, as it is told, a change in Eatheajl and she stirred, only a little but she had become aware, of what she did not know, for it was slight and tender and it wrapped itself around her in a chrysalis of light and warmth, it brought her comfort, for the first time the beleaguered world felt warm and slowly it rouse her and it drew her back from the precipice, in her mind, she had so very nearly fallen over, that hole in which oblivion would have claimed her.

Eatheajl knew naught of anything, she was innocent of caution and therefore reckless, and so, she drew near basking in the heat of this brilliant light, then a voice came unto her, it was the Regal Moon hiding in the shadow of her great form.

'Careful as you go little one, for there are rumours that surround this light, and I can hear them pleading for you to arrest.'

Eatheajl did not know this voice and she did not know these words. There was nothing for her to heed, for she understood little, if anything at all and so proceeded. Again, the Wise and Regal Moon whispered for her to stay and the stars whispered also but Eatheajl did not know these sounds and without the knowledge required to be fearful, she approached, quite recklessly, the source of her comfort.

Seander, the deranged sun god, wasted not a moment in snatching the world and forced himself upon her. Fierce and unbearable was he and mad with thirst. The parched sun clutched the naive world tight and drank, many times did he drink and voraciously did he do it.

Eatheajl cried out, the pain with which Seander's searing heat wrought blistering scars upon the face of her was an extreme experience for such an inexperienced soul, and with each torturous moment she learned of so many new sensations. Pain, anger, persecution and strongest of all, fear.

The Sun drank with abandon, his wanton greed and wild thirst ruled him completely, he cared nothing for the world within his mighty grip and heard none of the remonstrations of the queenly moon and her subjects still within the darkness. His forceful heat and fire served him well as a shield against all he did not hold captive, for no sensible thing would willingly approach such a maleficent danger, and it repelled with ease, the attendants of Twrlja.

But it was at this point that an extraordinary thing occurred, Twrlja, the Courageous Moon, steeled herself and advanced upon the terrible scene. The heat from Seander's power was intolerable, a thousand injuries did Twrlja suffer but she stood beside the wrecked form of Eatheajl and excoriated the wicked sun.

'Foul thief that rapes and tortures, let go of this innocent world who does you no harm and yet you punish without cause. Cease and let her be.'

The Parched Sun payed little attention to the bereft Moon and blasted her with such force and fury that she was defeated and wrenched herself away at speed. The force of this violent action spun Eatheajl and Twrlja moved across her, in doing so, she pulled into existence, without any conscious effort from Eatheajl, a daughter.

Amongst all her pain and amid terrible fear did the innocent world seek preservation, it was this instinct that created Teajgna, the natural defender of this world and the first-born daughter of Eatheajl.
