When I wake up, it's the next morning and I've slept in til 10:00am. I plan to stay in bed all day and read and play games on my phone. At least until my dad gets to my house to pick me up. I have a text from Josh.
J: Hey are you awake yet?
It was sent at 9:00am.
K: Hey, sorry I sleep in really late on the weekends.
J: It's ok I usually do too but I couldn't sleep.
K: That sucks ass. I'm sorry.
J: It's alright. I texted Vinnie who wakes up pretty early.
K: I feel bad for him.
J: It's because of his seven month old sister.
K: Oh, so what do you have planned for today?
J: Well in a little bit I'm going to go to town to go grocery shopping with my mom, brother, and sister. Later Vinnie's coming over to play video games and chill. What about you?
K: I'm staying home all day reading and texting Brenda, Maddie,  and Sam. Then my dad is coming to pick me up to take me to his house.
J: Cool.
K: Ya I guess.
J: :) I gotta go.
K: Bye
J: See ya.
I texted Brenda to tell her I was going to sleep. Then I fell back asleep.

      When I woke up it was around noon is so I cooked my self two hotdogs and ate them. Then I went into the living room and watched t.v. until my dad came to pick me up. I grabbed my clothes and phone with ear buds and it's charger and got into his car.
        When I got to his house after going grocery shopping for the food we needed for the weekend, I went into his living room and we watched t.v. together. The rest of the weekend went by just like Friday had. In a blur. It was a big mixture of music, t.v., texting, sleeping, and of course, eating.
       I hate this Monday more than most Mondays. Because today is my fourteenth birthday. I hope nobody remembers. I get to school and go to my locker to put  my jacket inside. When I get to my locker I notice something duct taped to my locker. I peel it off and see that it's a box. I peel the tape off the box and open it. Inside is sparkling gold ring.
