I sighed as I put books into my locker. I tried to be friends with her but I guess I failed......

I slammed the door and was about to go to P.E when I saw a familiar face extremely close to mine. I yelped and jumped back.

"Hey!" Gordon smiled at me.

"Did you just sneak up on me.......?" I asked.

"Yup!" He skipped along to get to the gym.

"Uh......ok? Why did you do that?" I asked dragging out the 'why'.

"Oh yeah, I'm inviting you to a sleepover at my place." He continued to skip the way.

"Alright. What do Brook and Nicole think of this?" I asked.

"And they're fine, well, at least Brook is. I haven't checked with Nikki yet." He said.

"Ok when is this sleepover?"

"Well I haven't put an exact date. But I want it to be during the weekend so we don't have homework to deal with." He stopped and opened the door to the practice gym since our usual gym was being used for the clubs.

"Coach Chen said she'll just take attendance and then we'll be getting our gym clothes." Gordon said before sitting on the bleachers with Brook, Nicole, Chryssa, Celena, Ashley and Ashton.

"Have you heard they changed our gym clothes this year. Those in normal P.E have the school logo on them while we get one with our parents' symbols." Chryssa smiled.

"Yay." Nicole said sarcastically.

"Ok listen up folks, you'll all be getting in a single file line for your gym clothes and then we'll be heading over to the locker rooms to get your combination for them." Coach Chen said.

(Timeskip)

"Woah, I didn't think they would look this cool!" I exclaimed and looked at the green dragon and purple griffon on the front and my last name on the back in white. The shirt itself was dark grey and the shorts were navy blue with my last name on them.

By the corner of my eye, I noticed that Nicole and the coach were talking.

"Nicole, I'm permitting you to wear the beanie, but only because the principal gave you permission. You better keep it on you, or at least wear a hoodie over, alright?" I heard the Coach say to her. She just nodded.

"C'mon we got to go to the boy's lockers." Ashton nudged me towards the door.

I swear I always struggle with this. I fumbled with the lock, but it didn't open.

"Juniper, you need help?" Brook smiled amusingly.

"Heh......yeah." I sheepishly smile and handed the combination.

On his first time, Brook opened the locker.

"Wow, I am really bad at this. Thanks." I put the clothes in and closed it.

"Guess we'll start dressing out tomorrow....." Ashton played with hair.

"But now what?" I asked.

"We have to wait until Coach Chen comes back." Gordon answered.

"Hey Brook, Nicole's getting special permission to wear her beanie or a hoodie. Why's that?"

"Well, I'm not allowed to say exactly. All I can say is that it's something about her that she's not comfortable with showing."

"Like a bad hair cut?" Ashton said.

"Well, it's something like that...." Brook sounded unsure.

"But that's not that bad." I said.

"I said 'something like that'. I'm not allowed to give much away. Just don't mention this to anyone. I don't want her knowing that I was telling her secrets out loud." Brook made us swear not to tell anyone.

"Ok boys, we're heading back to the gym. Follow me." Coach came back and like that, all the boys left the locker room.

We met up with the girls on some bleachers.

"Does anyone know when to go to the clubs and stuff." Ashley asked.

"It's after school at around five." Chryssa answered her.

"Any idea what clubs there will be?" Gordon asked.

"I have no idea buuuut I know for a fact that there's a reptile club~! And I'm joining!" Celena announced.

The bell rang signifying to get your stuff and go home.

"See you guys tonight!" Ashton said as he walked out the door.
