"So ever made a potion before?" Brook asked me, I shook my head.

"Then I'll be your mentor and show you a different style of chemistry!" His eyes sparked brightly.

"It'll be easy, once you get it, you'll probably be an expert potion maker." We took a seat at a station.

"These potion stations are good because they have a sound barrier so that if someone starts becoming too loud, no one will lose concentration."

"That's pretty cool."

"Yup."

"Ok now just add a drop of that blue solution." Brook was guiding me through the potion but when I got the test tube, it slipped out of my hand. Pieces of glass were scattered everywhere.

"S-sorry!" I mumbled barely above a whisper.

"It's ok. We all make mistakes, plus you're just learning. Here, I'll clean this up and you'll get the sharp objects container." I went to get the box for throwing away broken glass. When I came back, I noticed that Brook was crouching over and holding onto his hand.

"Brook?" I looked at him and noticed that his palm has a cut. Brook used powers of water to wash it off. Then he got up to properly get cleaned off.

"You have the elements of water?" Brook just nodded. I decided to help clean up the mess I caused.

"Yeah, sorry if you got worried. I rested my hand on the floor where I thought there was no glass, but I was wrong. Thankfully, there wasn't any glass in my hand."

"Maybe I.... shouldn't be in this club. First time here and I already hurt you." I sighed.

"No, I like you being here, before I was doing these clubs all alone, but now there's one of my friends here with me."

"But I hurt you....." I sighed.

"Hey, it's all part of life, its not you're fault. Those tubes had always been hard for me to hold. So I wanted you to get it. But I guess it's hard for you as well." He shrugged. Then we heard a notification ding come from both of our phones.

It was from Gordon.

Gordon: Hey! I got Nicole to come to the park! We'll be there at 5:10 probably.

Juniper: Ok we'll be there after clubs are over

Brook: see you then

We put our phones away and I went to get a first aid kit that was in our station.

"Here, give me your hand." I said. He stretched his hand out towards me and I put a cloth on the cut and wrapped it up.

"Woah, where did you learn how to deal with injuries?" Brook looked at his hand.

"Well, being the son of the green ninja, I was obviously going to get hurt, so I watched how my parents helped me and I guess it just grew on me." I closed my eyes in thought. Then I re-opened them.

"Club's ending soon, we should probably start cleaning up now." Brook noticed other people were starting to pack up.

We cleaned up the broken shards and all of the potions. We told the teacher about the incident. He didn't seem to mind though.

We rushed out of the school. It was around 4:30 then and we had to find a fast way to the park. But in no time we made it. Just before the girls came.

"Seriously? You brought him along as well." I could hear Nicole say while gritting her teeth.

"Well, it's time you start meeting people." Gordon pushed her towards me. But Nicole was stronger and stayed in place.

"This better not be another one of your little schemes....." She mumbled.
