(Juniper's POV)

I sat down on a bench, changing into my gym clothes. I sighed and pulled the shirt over my head.

"Hey Juniper, after gym today, wait up for me so we can go to the potion making club together." Brook smiled and looked up at me.

"Huh, o-oh yeah.....!" I stutter realizing he was talking to me. Once I was fully in my clothes and I closed my gym locker, I waited for Ashton and Gordon. When they were both done, we all went into into the gym.

"Hey, looks like the girls finished before us." Brook pointed out as we headed towards the bottom step of bleachers.Ashley and Ashton were sitting, while Chryssa, Brook and I were standing.

"Huh, looks like Celena and Nicole haven't finished yet...." Brook said.

Right when he said it though, Celena entered with Nicole behind her. Nicole wore her gym clothes but had a grey hoodie over her head. They walked over to us, standing.

"So does anyone else have something going on after school?" Brook asked.

"Well now but... I-I did have cheer this m-morning......." Gordon cheeks turned pink as he stuttered it.

"Why are you being so shy all of a sudden?" Ashley smirked.

"Uh......b-because........because I am!" His cheeks flushed.

"Ooh~ is this about Winter.....?" Celena asked.

"N-no....." Wow, he's really terrible at lying..

"Come on, everyone knows you have the biggest crush on him, Gordon." Brook said.

"What everyone?! Does he k-know......?" He became a giant mess of red now.

"He has no idea because he's really dense." Brook pointed towards Winter across the room who was with two other people.......his siblings? But then Brook had immediately gone silent.

"Why the pause?" I asked.

"Don't worry, he's just admiring someone...." Ashton chuckled.

"Wait, so Gordon is crushing on someone and Brook is as well.....? This is way too in sync.....it's really confusing." I thought out loud.

"I don't have crush! I'm just looking at someone because I find them very interesting." Brook crossed him arms.

"That's pretty much liking someone." I said.

"It's not but okay: just how many times have you liked someone as more than just a friend, mister? He challenged.

"Zero times....." I mumbled.

"Exactly."

"But I know from my parents." I said.

"Oh yeah. I forgot that Medellah and Lloyd had a juicy love story." Gordon sighed thoughtfully. Why do I get the feeling that he's daydreaming?

"Why do you want to get into their business?" Nicole asked. I realized she hadn't talked much.

"Why wouldn't I? Everyone knows the story already."

"But those are just rumors, its best to get all the facts first........" She mumbled quietly.

"Come on Nikki, you gotta believe some of them. I mean, everyone was just talking about Lloyd's son coming here, you didn't believe that, but look, he's here." Gordon pulled me by my arms and pushed me towards Nicole, I stopped myself before I could crash into her.

"S-sorry....!" I stammered seeing Nicole give me a small glare.

"Indigo....!" I gritted my teeth and looked at the guy.

"Oops...." Gordon laughed nervously. Everyone else besides Brook shrugged at each other in confusion.

"Alright kiddos. Enough talk, its time to train. We're going to start out easy and then move our way up from there. So please, take a weapon and we'll begin." Skyl-I mean Coach Chen had carts filled with items like swords, scythes, nun chucks, bows and arrows. I was most used to using bows so I took that off of the rack.

"Using school property weapons sure feel different." I mumbled under my breath so no one heard.

"That's because they're not as sturdy as real ones since they're for beginners." I turned around and saw Nicole testing out a scythe."Even if I try to use an earthquake attack, it'll snap in two." She said, flinging her weapon around a bit.

"Pardon me for changing the subject, but how did you hear me?" I asked.

"Wouldn't you like to know, Juniper-kun?" She gave me a look.

"What did you just call me....?"

"Dang it, Gordon, I'm never agreeing to watch a marathon of anime on a school night." She mumbled and walked away.

"Since we're starting out easy, let's do strike attacks first. All you have to do is strike forward at one of these dummies. This is just for practice, but please, nothing too extreme on these weapons." Coach Chen said. She called everyone up by weapons.

I went up and shot a target with three arrows in one shot. But that was nothing took difficult, I just wanted Coach to see my skill level. I heard some girls whispering behind my back. Nicole was there already.

"Uh, what are they saying about me." I asked.

"You're on Cynthia's good side. Everyone is bound to be talking about you. They're just fangirling about your skills." She shrugged.

"What?"

"Look, girls are starting to like you and think you're attractive." She sighed.

"Oh. You're not worried that Cynthia will do something bad to you?" I asked nervously.

"Why should I be worried? She's always done stuff to make me feel bad." She left out the door to change out of her gym clothes.
