My name is Juniper Garmadon. I am now entering high school for the first time tomorrow.

Well, it may seem a little weird, but, I wanted to be home schooled first for my first two year of high school because of some social problems but now I feel I am ready to be back in public school. It's the same school that my parents went to when they were younger strangely: Ninjago High School.

It's cringy though whenever my parents talk about it and how high school was when they fell in love. It's kinda gross honesty.....I try to focus more so on grades then anything else.

I can't wait until tomorrow! My cousins, Chryssa and Celena will be there too! So at least I got them....

I wake up to my alarm which I turned off and yawned. I looked to my calendar and smiled, today was my first day. I quickly put on my clothes and went downstairs for breakfast.

"Morning Mom!" I cheerfully said before gulping down my cereal.

"Good morning, sweetie. I wasn't sure whether you wanted to have school lunch or take a lunch, so I packed your lunch box if you wanted it. If not, I can save it for later." She was making a lunch for herself and Dad to take to the dojo.

"Thanks mom. I think I will." I put my dish in the sink.

"Ok it'll be on the counter when you're ready." She called after me as I went back upstairs to brush my teeth and hair.

My dad saw me and ruffled up my already terribly groomed hair.

"Hey June, already going to school huh?" He asked me, I nodded and smiled.

"Well, make a good impression. And don't forget to have fun and smile." He turned around after he gave me a hug.

I looked down the stairs and saw him kiss my mom on the lips. I silently gagged, why did they have to do that?

I already knew that girls seemed to be attracted to me, but I didn't want to be in a relationship juuust yet. Love's not really my strong suit.

After I had brushed my teeth and hair I put my contacts in, I went back downstairs and pulled my boots on. I reached for my satchel, which is pretty much my backpack, and I saw that Mom had already put my lunch in there. I smiled thoughtfully.

Both Mom and Dad walked up to me at the doorway, both in their ninja gi's.

"You have everything right? Your lunch, pencils, paper, books, binders, extra clothes, money just in case, your glasses, oh and-"

"Mom, it's fine. I have everything I need." I cut her off and hugged her.

"Alright now don't be using your powers in school, they're not mastered yet. Now then, your cousins are already waiting for you. It's best not to keep them waiting, especially Chryssa." My dad motioned over to the bus stop, where I saw them both there. Truth be told, Chryssa was a very hotheaded girl, who always finds a way to get her way.

"Alright. Can I go now?" I asked.

"You're forgetting something." Mom said and pointed to her ears. I looked up on my head and put my ears and tail away.

"Now can I go?" I smiled.

"Yep, don't be getting in any fights, okay?" Dad gave me a quick squeeze before letting me go.

I walked across the street to them. Chryssa glanced at me and rolled her eyes, looking back down at her phone. Celene on the other hand had hugged me right when she saw me.

"June! It's so great to see you! You're finally going to public school!" She looked up at me.

"It was only two years of high school. I'm at least glad to have you two to talk to."

"Same, I mean sure I know people, but it gets kinda boring in school without you. So I hope this year is the best one!" She smiled.

We continued to talk with each other until the bus came. High school here we come.....

Chryssa, Celena and I had just gotten out of the bus and we were walking to the gym to pick up our schedules. But right when we were going to enter the school, I got hit.....in the face......with a soccer ball.

The impact made me fall backwards. I saw that Chryssa had an amused expression and Celena had a pained expression but she helped me up. A boy came running up to us.

"Sorry, my sister and I were playing and she kicked the ball a little too hard." He had grey cat ears and tail and brown hair.

His sister came running up to the ball and picked it up, dusting sides of it off.

"Sorry, but honestly, you should have been aware of your surroundings." She bluntly said before running off to the field again.

"Again, sorry for that. Ashley's always so caught up in what she is doing that she just doesn't realize what she's doing to others. I'm Ashton, what's your name?" He looked at me.

"Uh.....it's Juniper. But my cousins sometimes call me June." I said.

"Pftt, by cousins, you mean Celena." Chryssa sighed.

"Oh hey, Chryssa, no time no see. How has your summer been?" He smiled.

Chryssa just shrugged.

"I'd rather be playing video games than to be back in this prison." She sighed.

"Well, hope to see you around Juniper!" He waved bye and ran to his sister.

We finally got to the gym and it was filled with students trying to get their schedules.

There had been tables set up with the following lables on them:

A-C, D-F, G-J, K-N, O-R, S-V, W-Z.

Of course because my last name is Garmadon and Chryssa and Celena is Julien, we both went in the same line.

"So what are you looking forward to this year?" Celena asked me.

"Well, I suppose the library would be something, but probably just making friends like my parents want me to do. What about you?"

"Hmm.......I supposed it's the same, but this year I heard you get to touch snakes in biology!" I felt shivers go down my back. Then Celena realized what she said.

"Sorry, June, I forgot about your ophidiophobia....."

"I-It's fine....." I squeaked at the mention of snakes. Little known fact about me: I'm terrified of snakes.

"I'll try not to mention them as much." She said.

We finally got to the front of the line. Chryssa was first, then Celena, and then me.

"Name?" An attendee at the table asked.

"Garmadon." She gave me a strange look before handing me my schedule. Probably because Lloyd Garmadon and I have the same last names since I'm his son and such.

We were looking through our schedules and found out that we all have PE together. Other than that, I had Algebra 2 and biology with Celena. While I had history with Chryssa.

"Looks like my homeroom is on the other side of the school so I'll see you guys later!" I left the gym to my first period.

I was trying to open my locker but have failed about five times. I've even tried to kick it open, but to no avail. I had raised a tightly closed fist in the air and was about to bring it towards the locker when:

"Do you need some help?" I heard someone behind me. It was a guy that had brown, messy, unkempt hair and blue eyes. I stared at him before I pulled my arm down and shifted nervously.

"Uh....yeah......I'm having trouble with my locker." He just nodded at what I said and I gave him my schedule.

He then put in the combination and the first time, he opened it.

"Wow....I've been trying for a long time. Thanks!" I cheerfully said.

"You're welcome! Hey, I saw that you have Mr. Tudabone for first, and I have him too! Do you want to walk with me and my brother, and hopefully my other friend?" He smiled when he asked me.

he must be an extrovert.

"Sure! I'd love to. I've been struggling to find that class." I told him and followed.

"My name's Gordon, what's yours?"

"Juniper."

"Well it's nice to meet you, Juniper!"
