Only a small beam of light, surrounded by darkness deeper than the endless expanse of the night sky, illuminates a merciless amber gaze as bright as the incandescent lava that oozes out in the towns and cities around a volcano, devastating all life it touches with the most sincere and dark indifference.

A Nanook, the possessor of these flaming eyes, stands with his posture raised, staring down at the prisoner, while his blood drips down his blade, which loses its silvery sheen as it is covered in a growing crimson mantle that colours his sword with every cut he makes. 

Immersed in his work, he doesn't even notice the emerald fury, greater than the hatred borne of all the wars that have taken place and will take place, present in his prisoner's gaze, which only seems to cease when the metallic sound of the heavy armour of two melees resounds with their arrival.
