Weavers POV:
Weaver grabbed her bag from her chair as the school day ended. Collage for her was a bit hard but she would graduate soon. Which was almost as exciting as her hatching day that was just a few days away. Her friend Snapper came to her right side and laughed softly. "Are you excited for your hatching day!. I think I'm more excited than you are!. Hehe". She told Weaver as they walked out of the school and onto the sidewalk. Their teacher Mr. Longlegs has assigned them a small but simple task. To grow a tree and successfully plant it near the beginning of the forest. Her other teachers had given her worksheets on which plants were dangerous and which ones weren't. She knew the forest was dangerous and one time when she was on a field trip to look at flowers with multiple uses. She had accidentally stepped on some poison oak which was right next to a Venus Dragon trap. Her Principal Mrs. Huntsman, had called Acid, her mom and she was itching for a few days before it went away. They were a flight away from her house and they took off into the air. Snapper looked at the small sprouted plant in the cup that was filled with water. "Isn't there supposed to be dirt in there?". Snapper asked Weaver as they flew through the trees and closer to her house. Weaver looked at the plant and nodded to Snapper. "There will be when the plant grows bigger. Right now it needs lots of water". Weaver told Snapper. They eventually landed at her house and the gravel walkway almost made her fall over. They walked onto the porch of Acids house and she knocked on the door. She could hear Acids talonsteps get closer to the door as she walked down the stairs and the door opened. Acid smiled at Snapper and Weaver as she saw Weaver come into the house. Snapper said hello to Acid and peaked into the house. "See you later Weaver!. I hope your plant grows!". Snapper yelled into the house as Weaver put her bag near the stairway. Acid looked towards her and at the cup that she had placed on the counter. She got to it and she smiled as she saw the plant. It seemed to be some sort of leaning tree. She had almost gotten her worksheets done when her mom called to her. "Would you like any snacks?. Or will you wait until later?". Acid asked Weaver as Tarantula came down the stairs. She walked to the fridge and pulled out a yogurt. "I'll wait until later. I have a few worksheets to do". Weaver told Acid as she brought her plant and bag upstairs. She went into the hallway and passed her mother's room. She opened the door to her room and closed the door. She looked at her Olive Green walls and the singular hammock hanging in the corner. She had a Dark Turquoise bed frame and her blankets were Grass Green. She had a table near her hammock and she placed her bed near the table. Weaver put the plant on the table carefully as she didn't want to spill any water. She sighed and grabbed a worksheet from her bag. It was o my halfway completed and she looked at the question and then the answers. The question was, If you were stuck in a Venus Dragon Trap. What do you do?. A) Squirm around. B) Stop moving. C) Cut the plant open. D) Call for help. Weaver knew the answer and she circled B. You were an idiot if you attempted to Call for help or move around in it. The Venus Dragon Trap would surely know you're alive then it would digest you. She laid her head down on the desk and sighed. If she knew college was this hard she probably would've dropped out. She wondered how long it would take for her plant to grow. She sat at the desk for a while and she closed her eyes a bit. She didn't think about her worksheet, instead she thought about the plant. She thought about how strong it would be. Weaver looked up from her worksheet and the plant seemed different. Wasn't the plant a seed before?. The plant was now a seedling with roots growing near the bottom of the cup. She realized that it had roots which meant it needed dirt. She looked towards her window and sighed. She knew Acid didn't like when either of them jumped out of the windows in their two story house. For the plant she had to. She quickly jumped out of the window and landed near some dirt. It seemed fresh so she dug it out of the ground and cupped it in her front talons. Weaver gripped the window sill as she flew into it. She looked at the plant which was still in the cup. It had moved towards the sunlight and it's leaves dropped downwards. She emptied some of the water out and placed the dirt into the cup gently. As she looked at the plant she had one question.
How did she do it?.
