I walked back to the little boy, "hey, where are your parents?" I said in a sweet motherly tone kneeling to his level.

He looked away with his head hang down, I sighed. "They left you didn't they?" He looked back to me but said nothing. "How about this," I pulled out a small necklace with a green dragon emblem. "When you need me just hold it close to you."

I dropped it in his hand and gave a small smile, "now I need to keep an eye on those Ninja okay?" He nodded as I stood up. 'Now to find them...' I thought to myself and went to search for them.

(Ninja's POV)

The Ninja ran back to their dragons. "What was that girls problem?" Jay whisper shouted at the rest.

"Perhaps she did not like that we were tormenting the young boy..." Zane proposed.

"Tch. We weren't tormenting..." Kai said about to jump up on his dragon, but his foot accidentally hit his bag and a scroll fell out. Zane picked it up and the other gathered around him to look at it.

"Huh I don't remember putting that in there..." Kai said taking the scroll and opening it.

"That's sensei's bag. You must have accidentally taken it in the rush. Zane said inspecting the bag.

"What is it?" Jay asked Kai who was looking at it, "It's a scroll windbag." Kai hissed at the idiot.

"I know it's a scroll, but what's it say? It's written in chicken scratch!" Jay replied to Kai's snarky comment.

"Not chicken-scratch, but an old language of our ancestors." Zane corrected, examining the scroll.

"Well... can you read it?" Kai asks Zane, "I can try. This symbol means prophecy," Zane said pointing to one of the symbols.

"Prophecy?" Jay asks, "It means it tells the future." Kai informed, "Right I knew that..." Jay said with a chuckle while scratching the back of his neck.

"One ninja will rise above the others and become the green ninja. The green ninja destined to be the strongest ninja of all destined to defeat the dark lord with one not from this _____ destined __ _____ ___ ____ __ _____. I can not read the rest of these symbols, they change to a different language unknown to me." Zane said translating the text.

"The dark lord? Wait! You think that can mean Lord Garmadon?!" Kai questioned his brothers. "Wait a minute! Is that US?! Is anyone thinking what I'm thinking," Kai urged with a big grin on his face.

"Like how good I'm going to look in green?" Jay said jumping up and down. "Heh! Isn't it obvious I'M going to be the green ninja?!" Kai scoffed.

"But the color fits me!" Jay said. "Technically I'm the best!" Zane said with pride. "Anyone who is~" Jay stared till Cole cut them off.

"Stop it!! Remember why sensei brought us together in the first place! We're a team! We weren't ment to see this, probably for good reason. Come on! Let's head back before that girl comes back for a round two..." He said hoping on his dragon.

Zane and Jay nodded sprinting back to their dragons. "What Cole afraid of a girl?" Kai teased as they flew away.

"W-what no!" Cole shouted as the others laughed, in truth he was.

Kai and Cole had ended their spar, when Kai's sword had set fire to the floor. Everyone tried to get rid of the fire. Sensei Wu came in and picked up Zane's shurikens. He threw them at the fire getting rid of the flames.

"What were you thinking?!" Sensei said angrily.

"We... uhh... we were trying to figure out who was the green ninja." Zane hit the back of Jays head for saying it. "Ahh.... Did I say green ninja?" Jay cleared his throat, "I ment to say was lean." Jay lied unsuccessfully.

"You were not supposed to see this..." Sensei grabbed the scroll from them.

"But Sensei, we wanna know. Which one of us will be the chosen one?" Kai whined. "None of you! If you don't unlock your potential..."

"But my sword was so bright! Is this what you meant by unlocking our golden weapons?" Kai asked looking intently to his sword.

"You are only at the beginning and the road is long and winding. But yes, this is what I meant. If this is how you must train, then so be it! But none of you are near what it takes to be the green ninja." Sensei Wu turned and headed back to his room to meditate.

The Ninja were still training when Sensei Wu came out in a panic. "Ninja the Serpentine are back! Everyone in Jumanakai village is in danger!" Sensei shouted in a frantic.

"Calm down Sensei, we were just there. It was some kid who~" Cole got cut off by Sensei, "The spirit smoke does not lie! An ancient evil has been released!"

"Nya's there right now!" Kai panicked.

"Nya?" Jay shrieked. The guys raced towards their dragons, hopped on and headed to Jumanakai village.

Looks like the Ninja aren't here anymore. Guess I should... crap I never asked that kids name. Oh well...

'Maybe I should~~' my thoughts were cut off by shouting, 'does everyone in this village shout?'

I peaked around a corner. "Great Serpentine," I mumble. I was about to sink back in the corner when something behind me made a noise.

"You know for Serpentine your quite noisy..." turning to two about to grab me.

"Hello ssweety, look into my eyessss." The closest to me said.

I had a devilish smirk, oh two hypnobrai against one of me? That's not fair....for them....
