Naruto looked at Itachi, his eyes widened under his mask as Itachi called him by his name before he chuckled. 

"I don't know who you think you're talking to, but it is not this Naruto figure you speak of." Itachi's eyes didn't show anything as he stared impassively at Naruto. 

"You mustn't lie Naruto, I can feel your chakra, and the Kyuubi's chakra. You seemed to have forgotten how I found you in the first place all those years ago." Naruto's eyes narrowed now, letting his facade drop quickly as it came. 

"What do want of me Itachi? I have things to do and places to be." Itachi raised a single eyebrow. 

"And what is that? By the way you're going, it seems like you are going back to Konoha." Naruto's eyes narrowed. 

"And if I am?" Itachi took out a small sword. 

"Then I am to stop you at all cost. I cannot allow you to damage the Leaf anymore than you already have." Naruto took out his scythe. 

"And why would you care? You killed your own clan. For what? A test? To drive the village to despair at the loss of one of it's precious bloodlines? You're nothing but a traitor, like me, but I left for a good reason." 

"And who says I'm a traitor? It seems you've never heard of a deep undercover mission Naruto." The member of Akatsuki said, making Naruto narrow his eyebrows. 

"So, you're still loyal to the Leaf huh? Then I guess you plan on telling them that I'm alive as well?" Itachi nodded curtly, taking off his Akatsuki cloak. "Then I can't allow you to live, sorry, but Sasuke's dream won't become a reality." 

Naruto then rushed the black haired man, his scythe cutting deep into Itachi, but Itachi burst into a flock of crows, dispersing in random directions. Naruto immediately got on guard, looking everywhere he could, not able to see Itachi anywhere. 

"So, a coward eh? Is that why you let Sasuke live? Because you couldn't finish your mission because you loved him too much." Naruto turned around and saw Itachi standing there calmly. 

"Sasuke will be the savior of the Uchiha Clan by striking me down." Naruto smirked underneath his mask. 

"After I kill you, I'm going to kill Sasuke and end the Uchiha Clan once in for all." This time, he actually got a reaction out of Itachi, his face twisted into one of rage. 

"You will not touch my little brother!" He shouted as he rushed Naruto, which to any normal ninja would be blinding, but neither of these shinobi were by any means ordinary. Naruto curved his scythe, backing up slightly as he hooked Itachi's sword in it before he flipped over the kinslayer and was back to back with the man, and preceded to kick the back of the man's knee, causing his knee to bend and he hooked his arm around Itachi's neck, before jerking upwards, hoping to break the man's neck and end the fight, but to no avail. 

Itachi grabbed Naruto's arm and flung him forwards, making Naruto fly above the man's head. Naruto flipped in midair, landing on all fours before he threw two kunai, each had a paper bomb attached to them as they blew up on each side of Itachi, who barely been able to activate his mangeykou and an orange pair of ribs surrounded him, protecting him from the blasts as his eyes bled. 

"Impressive Naruto, you've grown quite a bit." Naruto smirked under his mask before he threw his scythe, making a few handsigns, making the single scythe turn into ten. Itachi's eyes widened as he saw chakra strings attached to each scythe, making him think of how Sasori controlled his puppets. 

Naruto made the scythes attack from each side of the man, making Itachi jumps over them and block the ones which changed directions with his sword before he flipped in the air, making a single handsign and blowing a large, roaring fireball at Naruto, who disappeared in a quick shushin and appeared right under Itachi, who was free falling to the ground. 

"Die!" Naruto shouted as he directed all of his scythes towards the black haired Uchiha, who looked on impassively. 

"Amaterasu." He whispered before a jet of black flames came out of his eyes, more blood coming out from it as it went towards Naruto. 

"Shit." Naruto muttered before he slammed his hands into the ground, making trees form into a bowl and catch the Amaterasu, before it quickly burnt through, but this gave Naruto enough time to jump away as it crashed into the ground. 

"It's time to finish this Naruto." Itachi said impassively as he looked into Naruto's single eye before whispering a single word. "Tsukyomi." Naruto then found himself tied to a cross as he looked down at Itachi, who was standing there with his sword in hand. 

"Welcome to the world of Tsukyomi. Where I am God, and where you will spending the next 72 hours of your life." Naruto watched as Itachi stabbed him once in the stomach, causing him to grunt in pain. Naruto then felt another sword enter his stomach, again and again, each time his resistance to the pain broke down a little bit. 

After a few hours, Naruto was now screaming as the blades continuously stabbed him. 

"Fuck you you bastard!" He screamed at an emotionless Itachi. 

"I don't understand why you're so mad right now, we still have 71 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds to go." Naruto's eyes widened. 

Fuck. 

After the whole 72 hours passed. 

Naruto felt the genjutsu around him release as he fell to the ground, breathing heavily. That was brutal in so many different ways it wasn't even funny in the slightest. Naruto stood up, his legs shaky as he did so, looking at Itachi with bloodshot eyes. 

"Y-you.....bastard." He whispered as he limped towards the Uchiha, the pain still in his legs and stomach and arms. "I'm going to kill you, then, then, then I'll take your eyes, and send Sasuke to hell with you, and then the plague known as the Uchiha Clan will be no more." 

"After all that, you still have the nerve to run your mouth? I'm surprised really." Itachi commented, rubbing the blood off his cheeks from his eyes. "Why don't you just die already?" He threw a kunai, making it hit Naruto's stomach with a hard enough impact that it knocked Naruto onto his back, making him cough up blood. 

"Heh heh, sorry Tobi. Looks like I won't be able to complete your goal with you. Believe it or not, you were my best friend." He whispered as he took off his mask as he tossed it to the side, getting a fresh breath of air. 

Flashback 

"Here I brought you some ramen from Wave Village." Naruto's eyes widened as he pretty much snatched the small container from the man as he dug into it hungrily. 

"This is awesome, thanks a bunch Tobi!" Naruto shouted happily as he slurped happily on the noodles. Tobi smiled beneath her mask. 

"No problem. You need to rebuild your strength, besides, you've been doing well recently, so I thought you needed a reward." 

Flashback End 

"No, I can't die yet. I can't let Tobi down, if I die, he'll fail without me. I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't!" He shouted as red chakra surrounded him body, his eyes turning red with black slits down the middle. He stood up, his eyes glaring murderously at Itachi. "It's time to pay you back ten fold." 

He disappeared in a flash of red before he punched Itachi in the stomach, practically fisting Itachi with his claws going into his flesh. Itachi coughed up some blood onto Naruto's feral face, his eyes fading in color. 

Naruto grabbed his scythe with a chakra string that was laced with the Kyuubi's chakra and used it to stab Itachi's back, making him grunt in pain and then, a large hand of red chakra grabbed Itachi completely, throwing him into the Amaterasu he had created earlier, only for Itachi to not be harmed at all as he activated his orange armor of chakra, this time, it had an upper body and a sword in hand. 

If I use the Mangeykou anymore for this fight, I'll go blind... Itachi thought as he looked down at Naruto, who was looking at him with a weird look, studying his Susanoo and trying to get to an opening. 

"This is my ultimate defense Naruto, nothing can get through this." Naruto scoffed. 

"I've heard that before, and guess what? I kicked his ass." Naruto then began running at Itachi. "And now I'll kick yours!" He was completely shrouded in the Kyuubi's chakra now, before he punched the orange barrier of chakra, only for his hand to start burning and cause him to bounce off like he had been hit away. 

"It's time to die Naruto, farewell." Itachi then used the orange sword to shoot forward, only for his eyes to widen in shock as Naruto grabbed onto the chakra sword, directing all the Kyuubi's chakra to his hands to grab it inches away from his stomach. "I-impossible!" Itachi whispered. 

"I said I'd kill you!" Naruto shouted. "And I don't go back on my word!" He formed two clones without using handsigns and they repeatedly hit the blade with a Rasengan, making the chakra sword crack, until it broke into two, making the whole orange shield around Itachi shatter and causing him to fall flat on his back. 

Naruto limped over to Itachi, who had blood coming from his eyes and mouth with his eyes half lidded as he looked at Naruto. 

"You've," He coughed a little. "G-gotten stronger, Naruto." Naruto held a kunai in his hand before he stabbed Itachi in the heart. 

"I know." 

"P-please, s-save Sasuke. He's, he's not the, not the last, Uchiha. If Madara gets his hands on him, Sasuke will fall into a complete irredeemable darkness, p-please save him. P-please." Naruto watched as the life faded from Itachi's eyes. 

"I can't promise you anything Itachi, but as a ninja, I will try my best to honor your last wish." Naruto then grabbed Itachi's Sharingan eyes out of his eye sockets and closed his eyelids before walking over and grabbing his white swirled mask and putting it over his face. 

"Tobi will be pleased. One down, a few more to go." He whispered before he continued his journey to Konoha. 

Well, that was longer than most of my chapters. How was it, good? Bad? Tell me! 

Anyways, hope you enjoyed the Itachi vs. Naruto fight, I didn't want Naruto to win very easily since Itachi is OP. Also, before people comment Itachi could've used Izanagi, I'd like to point out a fact. 

ITACHI DIDN'T KNOW IZANAGI IN MY FANFIC! 

K? So, yeah. He only knew Izanami and he wasn't dead enough to use it. Though, I don't really know how it works to be honest. Seems super broken to me, even though the Sharingan is already broken enough like holy shit!
