"Hokage-sama!" A random Chunin shouted as he burst into the office. Sasuke rose an eyebrow, slightly irritated at being interrupted from his paperwork that seemed to never end.

"Yes?" He spoke, awaiting the Chunins answer.

"It's Kumo, sir! It's, it's gone!" Sasuke stood up immediately.

"What do you mean, it's gone?" Sasuke said between gritted teeth. Things have been quite tense between the shinobi nations and all fingers were being pointed to Konoha and Suna, who had nothing to do with it. They were just one more life away from the Fourth Great Ninja War.

"Exactly what I said," The Chunin responded. "Gone, flattened, destroyed. There are traces of Tailed Beast Chakra there." Sasuke began pacing back and forth.

"This isn't good." The only culprits were either Iwa or Mist, since the One-Tails was gone from Suna and the Kyuubi died with Naruto.

"Bring me Hatake, if he isn't here in two minutes then the Sharingan won't be the last thing he lost!" Sasuke ordered to an Anbu, who immediately disappeared in a shushin. He looked at the Chunin. "Dismissed." The Chunin bowed before walking out the door in a hurry, most likely to spread the news to his friends.

"Damn. What's going on out there?" He muttered as he looked out the window. He would have to plan with Kakashi, and maybe Shikaku Nara as well.

With Obito

Obito looked at the peacefully sleeping baby, a small smile gracing her beautiful face before she kissed the baby on the forehead and made a clone before disappearing in a swirling vortex.

She appeared in front of Pain, who was looking out the balcony of Ame, the rain pouring down on his orange hair.

"Obito." He acknowledged her presence.

"Pain," She began. "It's been awhile since we've spoke."

"Because you murdered my friend in cold blood, or, your lover did if you prefer." He said in a monotone voice. "But Konan killed him as well before she died, and now it's only you and I."

"Konan attacked Naruto, not the other way around."

"Konan followed me, and I followed Naruto, she would not just attack Naruto out of nowhere, you will not deceive me." He turned around, his Rinnegan eyes boring into her Sharingan. "I have nothing left in this world but to bring true peace, through pain. You will know pain." He said as he lifted up his hand. "Almighty Push!"

Obito felt herself being pushed back, before her feet left the ground and she slammed into a metal wall. She glared at Pain as his other Five Paths were by his side instantly.

"After I kill you, I'll make sure to kill your child, as well as the whole village of Konoha." Obito glared at Pain.

"You won't touch them Nagato!" She put all her chakra into a Kamui, sucking up his Five Paths in it, only leaving the single Pain that was his late friends body, Yahiko.

"You've only delayed your miserable death." Pain yelled before putting his hand up. "I will kill you!" Obito smirked.

"I'll be waiting for you, you miserable bastard!" She shouted before disappearing in a Kamui, leaving Pain alone on the balcony of metal.

"It will take a long time to replace them, but that's all I have, time." Pain said before walking in the direction of the village.

He needed new host.

With Obito

Obito appeared out of the Kamui, collapsing on the ground in front of Karin, who screamed in shock, jumping back a bit.

"Chakra...exhaustion." Obito whispered before closing her eyes, letting darkness embrace her.

With Naruto

"Ah, that felt good. Haven't let out a Tailed Beast Bomb like that in, how old are you?" Naruto rolled his eyes as he walked down the path towards the cave, keeping to the side of the road.

"17 and a half."

"-17 and a half years! It felt good, I felt my siblings fear when they sensed my chakra gathering up. They didn't even have time to warn their host." Naruto chuckled a little.

"Yep. Since Konoha no longer has a Jinchuuriki, Iwa and Mist will place the blame on each other, then Mist will nuke Iwa with Utakata and his Tailed Beast." Kurama laughed from the mindscape.

"You're devious kit, I like that about you!" Naruto shook his head, amused by Kurama's antics.

"As long as it draws them away from Suna and Konoha, I'm fine with that." Kurama let out a wistful sigh.

"Ah, the good old days of watching you break people's bones. It was fun." Naruto nodded.

"Yep."

With Pain, Two Days before present time

Pain has located all his bodies, and has put his Paths in them, along with the extensive piercing of chakra metal so he could manipulate them better from his true hideout. He nodded to himself at his handiwork and quickly summoned them successfully, watching as they stood up with a single command.

"Glad that the Jonin of your village could be of some use." A voice said from behind Pain, who didn't even turn around.

"Who are you and why are you here?" The man, who was wearing a hood grinned, revealing a pair of sharp teeth as his green eyes glowed, the slits in the middle making the glow more ominous.

"An ally, I too, wish to get back at the Leaf Village." That caught his interest. Pain turned around, fully observing the man in front of him.

"And who are you exactly?" The man bowed.

"My name is Kabuto Yakushi, and I'm an expert and bringing people back to life under my control, and with your help," He grinned evilly. "I can bring them back to life so they can control themselves."

"Interesting. If you want to be of use to me, resurrect the strongest man you can think of." Kabuto grinned.

"There were many strong men in this world, any preference?" Pain paused for a moment, before speaking.

"Madara, Uchiha."

With Naruto, two days before the present

Naruto held one of his eyes, clutching it in pain as he felt Kurama's chakra overwhelm him, a bright yellow enveloping him, a cloak surrounding him as he did so.

"Kurama, what's happening?!" He shouted out loud. Kurama, who was sitting in the cage, giving complete control of his chakra to Naruto, shrugged.

"I've never done this before. It seems you're undergoing a transformation. You were exposed to Father's chakra, and he's entrusted you with dealing with the evil about to come, what's happening? I have no idea." Six balls of what appeared to be chakra metal materialized from thin air, surrounding Naruto as he stood up, his eyes yellow with horizontal and vertical black slits on them.

His face had three black thick lines on each cheek where his whiskers were, his hair going up as two strands of hair went higher than the rest, resembling horns. His clothes turned yellow and black, and then two bars of chakra metal appeared in his each of his hands, each about a meter long. 

"Kurama, what is this?" 

"You've inherited the power of the Sage of Six Paths, congrats." Kurama said, a smirk plaguing his lips as he saw the boy, no, adult man from his mindscape grow more powerful than himself. 

"Now, are you going to go seek out your child?" Naruto sighed. 

"What's the point? She turns 2 years old in a few months, she won't even recognize me. . ." He then pulled down his mask, as if emphasizing his point. "Besides, I'm like a piece of charred meat, I doubt Obito would want to see me like this, nevertheless my own child, who'll be frightened." 

Kurama sighed. 

"What if they need your help? What if they truly need you? Will you be a coward and not rise? Will you continue to sulk when you have the power to stop their suffering! She suffers because of you Naruto!" Kurama yelled angrily. 

Naruto sat down and closed his eyes, coming face to face with the fox, who was sending him a murderous glare. 

"I would never hurt either of them, Kurama, you know that!" Naruto said in between gritted teeth. Kurama took form of a clone, an ability he and Naruto discovered while training. 

"Idiot!" He yelled, socking Naruto in the face, causing him to fly back. "She suffers and mourns over your death! She probably blames herself for it! She beats herself up over all day long, the only reason why she's living is because she has to raise a daughter alone!" 

"She's not alone!" Naruto protested, standing back up. "She has Karin and Sasuke helping her!" 

"But not the father right? Didn't you want to be there for you kids so they wouldn't be parent less like you were?" Naruto fell silent, knowing Kurama was right. 

"I'll be there when they need me. . ." He whispered quietly. Kurama frowned visibly and poofed back in smoke, going back to his larger form. 

"Do what you think is right, Naruto." Kurama said before kicking the man out of the mindscape. 

Naruto opened his eyes, his Sharingan activated as he stood up, putting on his black cloak, which reached all the way down to his knees, with an opening revealing a plain white long sleeved shirt with a collar surrounding his neck, he modeled it after his father's Hokage cloak. 

"Pain is nearing Konoha." Zetsu said as he came out of a wall from the cave. "He should arrive in about two to three days." Naruto deactivated his Sharingan, before sitting down. 

"Obito will be able to take him down, I trust her." 

'She'll be able to take him down, right?' Were his unheard thoughts as he tried to fall asleep. 

And done! Was it good? Bad? Tell mee! 

Anyways, yeah. Few more chappies, then the big bad boi will be revealed, and then the end.
