"Naruto, what are you doing?" Kurama said from the sewer of Naruto's mind as he watched the boy from the mindscape. "You've been training nonstop everyday for a year, why?"

"My first child was just born three months ago," Naruto said, punching the walls of the cave he was residing in, drenched in sweat as the roots of his hair were matted to his head. "I need to be strong enough to protect her."  Kurama rolled his eyes.

"You're strong enough already, you might even rival Madara Uchiha." Naruto stopped punching the rock wall, giving time for Kurama to heal his hands, which were now a bloody pulp.

"Yeah right, that man survived the battle against Hashirama Senju and faked his own death. He also trained Obito when he was super old and Obito trained me, in his true prime, at the peak of his power, that man was nothing more than a monster." Kurama shrugged in the open space of the mindscape, no longer having a cage like he once had.

"Besides, if I went toe-to-toe with Pain, who has the eyes of the Sage of Six Paths, then I will surely lose. I need to get strong enough to beat him." Naruto wiped the sweat off his face, pulling down his black mask to get fresh air, revealing his scarred face.

"And then what?" Naruto paused for a second, before putting his mask back on.

"Then I will raise my child with Obito."

"Your child is three months old, Naruto. You need to go and meet her now instead of waiting." Naruto sat down, taking his shirt off, revealing his chiseled abs as the cold air touched them, cooling him off instantly.

"Not a chance. The moment I walk out of this cave, everyone will know that I'm alive, then they will target my child to get to me. I've made enemies Kurama, and Obito hasn't been making that any better." Kurama smirked.

"Oh yeah, she's taken up your mantle in terrorizing the villages, hasn't she? Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't she leave Suna and Konoha alone?" Naruto nodded physically.

"She knows that Gaara was my friend when I was a child. He's the Kazekage now, but now, the rest of the villages think that Suna and Konoha are allied and beginning a war." Kurama chuckled from the mindscape.

"Foolish humans, all you do is fight and bicker with one another." Naruto rolled his eyes as he stood back up as he began punching the cave wall again, pleased with himself as he began to see cracks showing up.

"Foolish Tailed Beast, all you do is get caught." Kurama snarled and cut off the connection between the two, causing Naruto to smirk at his victory.

With Obito

Obito was panting hard as she laid on the grass, sweat dripping down her forehead as kunai littered the ground along with burnt marks and trees everywhere.

She's been training like hell ever since she gave birth to Kushina Uchiha Uzumaki, who had inherited her fathers blonde hair and small whisker marks that Obito used to adore.

Used.

Naruto was dead.

She fought back the tears as she sat up, making a few handseals and making a few clones and ordering them to train as she stood back up, just in time to see Karin pushing a stroller with two babies in them.

Itachi Uzumaki Uchiha and Rin Uchiha Uzumaki.

"Hiya, Obito!" Karin greeted with a smile as she approached the black haired woman. "How's training?" Obito looked at her clones, who were sparring with one another.

"It's training." She responded simply as she bent down to eye level with Karin's and her child.

"Hi Rin, you being good for Auntie Karin?" The little girl only giggled and began clapping her hands. Obito put out her pinkie and the little girl snagged onto instantly with her tiny hands and began laughing again as she played with it.

"I can't thank you enough for watching her while I train, Karin." Karin waved her off.

"It's no trouble at all, besides, Itachi is usually so quiet like his father, I just can't help but want to take care of a crying baby too." Obito raised an eyebrow.

"She's been fussing." Karin nodded.

"Just a little bit, she's a baby after all. But it isn't like a cry for milk or anything, it's like a sad cry." Obito looked at her baby's blue eyes and smiled sadly.

"Me and you both, huh?" The baby, only giggled as her mama spoke to her. Obito stood back up and thanked Karin again before Karin went back to the babies stroll.

Flashback in a flashback

Obito appeared in a swirling vortex in front of Sasuke and Karin in the Hokage Office, tears running down her face.

"Obito? What's wrong?" Karin said urgently as she rushed to the woman.

"Naruto's," She took a deep breath to stop her crying. "Naruto's dead." Sasuke's eyes widened and stood up from his chair immediately.

"What do you mean, Naruto's dead?" Sasuke repeated as he looked at Obito. "Naruto is one of the strongest shinobis in the world, how could he die?" Obito shrugged, tears welling up in her eyes again.

"I don't know, he went to Iwa and ended up killing the Tsuchikage, then when he was coming home, Konan of the Akatsuki fought him, and they both died. It seemed Konan pulled off some suicide attempt when Naruto used Amaterasu on her." Sasuke rubbed his forehead, stopping the tears that were coming to his eyes.

Naruto was like his brother, Naruto helped him in so many ways, he couldn't ever repay him. He saved Sasuke from the darkness and told him the truth, he gave him the Hokage position, he gave him Itachi's eyes, he gave him a new life to start for true peace, Naruto gave him a family...

"Whatever you need, I'll do it." Sasuke said quietly. "Naruto was my brother in all but blood, he's the reason why I'm here right now. Whatever you need, if it's in my power I'll provide it." Obito wiped the tears out of her eyes and bowed respectfully to the Hokage.

"I need a place to raise my child." Sasuke and Karin's eyes widend in unison.

"You're pregnant too?" Karin asked.

"Done." Sasuke replied. "You will always be welcome in the Hidden Leaf, you can use Naruto's house that he inherited from his father." Sasuke dug through his desk and brought out a scroll that had a key in it. "I found this and it seemed that the Third Hokage would've given Naruto this when he turned 18, but now that Naruto is no longer with us, it's only right that his significant other and his child inherit it." Obito took the scroll and bowed again.

"Thank you so much, Hokage-sama." She whispered. Sasuke let a small, sad smile come across his face.

"It's no problem, and please, call me Sasuke."

Flashback in a flashback end

With Naruto, Six Months after hitting the wall

"Zetsu, is my child progressing well?" Naruto asked the white creature, who nodded in return.

"Very much so. She's always smiling and laughing with a bit of a temper tantrum when Obito-sama won't give her a cookie." Naruto let a small smile appear on his face.

"Good. Keep watching and protecting them from the shadows, please." Zetsu nodded before bowing and sinking into the ground.

"It's been a year and a half, Naruto, and the villages are getting all tense again." Kurama spoke. "I can feel it from my siblings in their own host. The Nibi and Hachibi, the beast in Kumo, are prepping for war. The Six tails in Mist, is prepping for war as well. I can't feel the other beast though. Shukaku is gone as well as the Five, Four, and Seven tails are all gone. I can't feel them anymore."

"Kurama, I believe it's time for me to go take care of a problem. You have no problem with lending me your chakra, do you?" Kurama smirked from the mindscape he was in.

"No problem at all." 

"Then we're going to Kumo. We will not drag Suna and Konoha into this, let Iwa, Mist, and Kumo fight amongst themselves. How strong is your Tailed Beast Bomb again?"

Kurama only chuckled as he sent an image to Naruto's mind.

"Deidara would be jealous."

And done. Was it good? Bad? tell meee!

Anyways, yeah. War is coming. I would guess that his chapter has about ten or less chapters less. To be honest, I believe this is my best book so far, the writing hasn't really gone bad into the later chapters like my other chapters.
