Chapter 13: Disappearances

This book is now independent once again. Hopefully, the publication will be sped up. This chapter is going to be a wild ride, and may be confusing if you haven't kept up. After all, it's The Hero Recruiter getting back into groove. Oh, and Tetris's full story is available now- well, it was, but Wattpad did not save what I wrote. Be sure to look at "Tetris Rising" sometime soon. Tetris will be present in many stories involved with the Titans from here on out. I'm still working on it, mind you, so don't worry, Tetris' story will have full justice.

Raven's POV

Tetris... That was her name. I remembered her. The girl Raven knew. She was on Slade's side now? What had happened to her? She was tricked... Right? Like Terra had been... I really hoped it wasn't her own free will that she did this. But Slade was an idiot for tricking her. She, unlike Terra, did not want to be controlled. She would belong to no one. Therefore, she would refuse any attempts to track her or to give her a uniform. And if she turned on Slade, he would be absolutely powerless to stop her.

I didn't know if she knew or not, but Tetris was blessed by an angel. An actual angel. Maybe she was one. She could be, from the aura she put off. But angels don't kill people... Right? I paced the room, the unanswered questions whirling around my mind. Maybe... Just maybe...

Akihiko Juro's POV

I decided to leave the madhouse. I'd be back. Someday. But the question would be, on who's side?

Robin's POV

I went looking for Scar. Talking with him would make me feel better. Expressing my concerns, looking for evidence with him, and chatting about what to do would be a great relief. I liked having a plan and a purpose. But one without the other just won't work in my world. Those were the roles of a hero. Either prepare, or be taken down by someone who was prepared. I wasn't going to sit around while Ashley's generals, who not only were girls YOUNGER than me, but also were still basically apprentices to greater heroes, made their battle plans. I'd need to speak with them later, since they were in charge of all the forces at Michelle's Alliance.

I brushed past a group of teenagers in lab coats carrying cages occupied by "Rescued Harmless Young Animals" (as the signs on the cages proclaimed) and clipboards. They turned down the medical wing. Another group of 'scientists' entered the chemistry lab, each carrying their own dangerous chemical, all of them ingredients of deadly gases, some of which would disable superpowers. Not bad, but I didn't want it loose around my team. I swerved around the corner, towards Scarlet Bat's room. I was carrying my suitcase of evidence, not my suitcase full of family pictures. I had been so mad about it being stolen, I put 5 new locks on it. They were all totally different, and had to be unlocked in a certain order.

"Hey, Scar, you there?" I asked, raising my voice at the door.

"Yeah," he answered, opening the door. "Come on in, I was hoping you would visit." I stepped inside, closing the door behind me. It automatically locked with a barely audible click.

"I brought my evidence case, plus a lot of criminal records from the MA Criminal Archives as well. You wouldn't believe all this stuff."

"It'd be nice to walk around and study all the data they've got. It's more complete and organized than even Bruce's files."

"Really? I thought there wasn't a place in the world with more info than Bruce," I replied, laying out the evidence carefully on the desk and stacking the papers neatly beside it all. He walked over and looked at it.

"You don't sleep much, do you?"

"Nah, I do, Star makes me. But the good thing is that I've learned to work faster because of it."

"Haha, a tough one, is she?"

"She's not one to be pushy, but when it comes to me eating and sleeping, she's very strict," I said, laughing.

"Well, let's start with Slade's file, then we can work around to the guys that work for him. Ashley brought me this file right here," he pointed to a thick file stuffed with papers, "which was put together as we were attacked. The spies collected more data, and they added that, too. If there's any updates, it's added onto the computer under 'New Data' and they add more papers whenever it's not being used. It's very thorough on who they've found working for him, who they suspect is working for him, their descriptions, and whoever they've seen come in contact with Slade."

     "So they're connecting everything?"

"Yeah, and then they're going to 'eliminate the threats and sub-threats,' meaning they're going to bring them in for questioning and imprisonment. 'Them' being the ones who work for him. They've already got a few people captured."

"Huh," I said, flipping through the file. "Looks like we're going to be in here awhile."

Starfire's POV

Robin is visiting his friend Scarlet Bat, so I am to find something to do. I found the medical area for kittens and found the most adorable little cat. She is the cutest kitten in the universe! She is spotted and has black lines running down from her eyes. She has a leg injury, but it is healing rapidly. I am most glad, for she is most adorable.

"That's a cheetah kitten," a girl remarked when she went by.

"Oh, that is most glorious. Please, what is a 'cheetah'?"

"It's the big cat on this leash." A large spotted cat was walking by calmly, restrained by a sparkling halter and leash.

"Oh! That is wonderful!" I said, floating with excitement. "Please, may I be of assistance?"

"Of course, you can play with the tiger kits over there. The mini-habitats are labeled, so you'll be able to find them easily."

"I shall entertain the tiger kits!" I flew over to their little home, which was covered in grass, not metal. It had small trees and a medium-sized enclosure beyond the small area in which the endearing creatures ate and drank. 'It is going to be most delightful,' I thought as I entered. Three large kittens leaped and played in the long grass. I smiled happily and began to pet them as they played.

Beast Boy's POV

I helped some guys make a video game. Cyborg had gone off to the Tech Wing, to do who knows what. There were a couple of girls in our group, and they helped a ton with creating environments and clothes for the characters. We all wrote down a bunch of ideas for a plot, and voila!, we had our game going.

"Dudes, this is so awesome." I said, creating a virtual troll.

"Yeah, and it's gonna be a virtual training arena, too. How's the weapons going, Howard?"

"Good, Amos. Celia and Trinity are almost done with the woods, and Gus is working on some of the main characters."

"Okay, good. How's the monsters coming, BB?" Amos looked over at me. "Nice troll, that'll be great."

     "Thanks, so what next?"

"We've gotta work on the rest of this. We're almost done."

"Awesome." I continued working on the monsters.

Cyborg's POV

I helped the tech team work on computer repairs and run the crime scanners. The printers were always busy, running off all sorts of things. They had a team just to keep the printers in line. Even the crime scanners were connected to the computers, running off maps and locations of bad guys constantly. People rushed around sorting things, including these girls that were twin speedsters. They were rushing everywhere, carrying stacks of papers and files and staplers and boxes and a whole lot of supplies. It made me dizzy just watching them.

I frantically hit buttons on the computers, running from one screen to the next. I had six computers in my station, and all of them were busy. The whole place echoed with beeps and shouts and electronic whirring. Once, some girl in a pink tutu and leotard ran through with a cart piled high with important documents. It almost hit one of the speedsters, careened into a printer, knocking both the printer and a computer over, and nearly crushed one of the secretaries. The Wayne girl, Catrina, came in and dragged the girl in pink out.

The other workers ran around, frantically repairing the damage done. I grinned while I routed the computers to one keyboard, each key doing a different thing for a certain computer. No two computers shared a key, except for a print key. I had a long list of what each key did. The computers were numbered and had all the needed commands available at the touch of a single key. I finally got to sit, but I still had to punch a lot of keys, and the computers still dinged constantly, but I didn't have to run a marathon anymore, so it was all good.

BB was supposed to be working with video games, while I printed a ton of papers and answered messages, since the secretaries were always overloaded with paperwork and made the other workers split the calls and messages. I hummed as I typed away.

Catrina's POV

All the Titans had been put to good use in various departments. Raven was meditating, which she would be doing for a while, and that was fine, too. Robin was happy because he got to research with Scar, Beast Boy got to work with video games, Cyborg did his tech thing, and Starfire was playing with kittens and other baby animals that most people are terrified of, so everyone was happy. And I got to fill a few positions that had needed to be filled. But Ballrine had made a mess of the prinitng grounds, so I was slightly ticked about that.

I surfed the files on our database, checking to make sure each one was secure and updated. I sent out orders for full investigations of the ones that were old, which was anything not checked for 3 months or more. Thankfully, there was an entire staff just for going through that file, which included projects labeled "Outdated," "Severely Outdated," and "Extremely Neglected,l which went from bad to worse, to worst. We hadn't gotten anything in the "Extremely Neglected" category yet, which was good, but if they forgot to check up on that stuff, I would have to go down there and update it myself. And that meant a full investigation, spies, interrogations, breaking into databases, and the works. A ton of work.

I then looked at the progress of the virtual training team, and was glad to note that they were almost finished. I made Archer inspect the Lab Wing, since Ashley had taken it upon herself to make him my assistant, claiming it was a job requiring several talents, and that Archer's skills would be wasted anywhere else. I was trying to get him to go everywhere, hoping that he'd decide he liked a certain job over my slightly hostile office and cool tone with seemingly pointless errands. So far, it had been a failure. No luck at all. He was insistent that he was fine with his position. I sighed, and looked for other tasks that I had put off for more pressing matters.

But I admit I did need a little help, especially with those extra little errands I hated so much. I looked up as the door opened. "Well?" I asked crisply.

"Nothing is out of place. The chemists are making these gases that disable superpowers. But what would it do to our side? We've got a lot of superheroes that rely on their powers to fight. If they get hit by this stuff, it'd be over for both sides. And without the ones on our side, everyone knows Slade would kill us all, whether he still had his supers or not. The situation could get bad. Why fight with chemicals when we have firepower?" Archer said, flopping down into the chair in front of my desk.

"Well, first of all, I have no say about that little trick. Well, I do, but not much, as it's with the chemists. Second, Ashley has the other chemists working on building immunity to it on our side, making it useless against us. It wouldn't do anything to us, and no side effects. All it does it disable powers, nothing less, and nothing more. Third, I think it's better than the deadly gases. And, fourth of all, the last reason, is that it would aid in our fighting, especially for those without powers, people like us. And Tetris, the most dangerous one with a whole armory of extremely strong powers, seems to fight solely with her powers. We're pretty sure she'd have to run or surrender if her powers were disabled." I stated in a monotone as I typed a report on the chemical. "What did they say it was called?"

"Scientifically, Facere-non-posse-potentia, meaning 'to make to be not able' in Latin. What English speakers would call, "to make unable." Also, posse can also mean 'power itself,' but they said it's used as 'to be able' and non as 'not', and facere can be interchanged with dare, but it means 'to make.' Potentia means 'power.' So I guess you'd put it all together as Facerenonpossepotentia or Darenonpossepotentia. The antidote is called, Facereposseutipotentia 'to make able to use power,' and uti is 'to use' in Latin. Basically, they just threw together a bunch of Latin words. You could also use facultas or potestas in place of potentia." I gave Archer a slightly irritated look.

"You just gave me a whole lesson on Latin. So Facerenonpossepotentia is the very long word for the poison and Facereposseutipotentia is the long word for the antidote, which I'm guessing what they'll use to help build immunity to the poison. Have they come up with a non-scientific word for it?"

"Yeah, the poison is Nonpotentia and the antidote is Possepotentia, in shorter terms. Plus, it's easier to tell the difference that way."

"So they just shortened the Latin version?" I cocked my head and turned my gaze from the computer screen to Archer, giving him a "no-duh" look.

"Basically. I guess the enemy would have to be proficient in Latin if they wanted to translate that. It's easy to remember, because 'non' and 'negative,' and 'pos' and 'positive.' It's good to learn Latin, too."

"Okay. So how was everything else in that wing?" I asked, turning back to my report.

"It was all in order. They had some interesting experiments going on. I'm just glad they know what they're doing, because I don't think Ashley would be very happy with them if the antidote failed."

"I would be angry if they failed. Does the stuff wear off?"

"It wears off after 168 hours, that's 7 days, exactly a week. The antidote works instantly. The stronger one, Potenspossepotentia, poten meaning 'strong,' is permanent. But only if it's injected into the bloodstream, then it stays. It's worked so far. They've perfected it, and all they have to do is verify it."

"Uh-huh," I said, completing the report and sending it to Ashley and the various files it would go in. I glanced at the clock. 12 PM, so it was time for lunch. "Hey, it's time for lunch, so be back in an hour." I stood up and walked out, not bothering to see if he was going the same way as me. Which, he was, since most MA residents ate at the same place, and that was the Auditorium. It served as a meeting place and a dining area.

"Do you know what you're getting today?"

"I don't know. I'll choose when I get there. Why would you be concerned?" Archer just shrugged. "And don't order the lobster, whatever you do."

"I'll choose not to ask why I shouldn't. I don't really eat lobster, crayfish, crabs, or mullusks."

       "Nothing with a shell?"

"Yeah, I had a bad experience with a snail... I didn't know that was what it was until I asked." Archer looked disgusted and added, "that's why I don't really trust French cuisine until I know exactly what's in it."

"Ah. I see." I nodded and called Robin. "Hey, it's lunchtime. Make sure your team knows, okay? And go eat. 'Cause if I don't see you down there in 10 minutes, I'll get you myself."

"Okay, I get it, I'll tell them. Bye, Cat, see you there." Robin shut it off.

"Gotta make sure he actually goes to eat?" Archer asked. "He's that dedicated?"

"Yeah, but it's more like obsessed. It's kind of annoying sometimes. He gets so bad he won't even stop to take a bite, even if you bring it to him. And then he won't sleep, so he'll get hopped up on coffee. I think Starfire put a stop to that, but he's still the same guy who would put his research over his own health. And he wouldn't care how worried everyone else got about him." I said off-handedly.

"So he's a bit of a bother sometimes?"

"Sort of. He got me into the same bad habits. It got so bad that not even coffee could keep me running anymore. I slept for a week, literally. Alfred told me never to do anything like that again, and my Dad wouldn't let me get out of bed for a few weeks even after I woke up. So I was out of commission for about a month. It's better just to sleep at night and work during the day, or the other way around, instead of working 24/7 and passing out, which wastes alot more time. It also ruins your health."

"You're better now, though, right? Any side effects? It didn't hurt you, did it?"

"I'm fine now. No, no side effects, except for the fact that I know better than to try to stay awake using coffee for long periods of time. I didn't know that Robin went to bed every Saturday to make up for sleep. He slept the whole day, and part of the night. I just assumed that he was working. I knew that my Dad slept on Sundays, though. But that was for the last 2 years he was with us. The first 2, his schedule was like a normal person's. And when he turned 14, he left, as you know."

"Oh, that's good," Archer said, nodding. I almost stopped in my tracks when I realized that I had answered all his questions without a single sarcastic remark. Archer handed me a file, which I hadn't noticed. "This was just given to me. One of the chemists," he explained shortly.

"Uh, thanks?" I said, skeptically, looking through yet another file. At least it was regular manilla instead of rainbow like Ashley's last idea. It was a full report on all the chemical ingredients, which I wasn't concerned with, but I still had to check over. Or just make Ashley read it. She liked stuff like that. Archer opened the door and held it open. "What?"

"It's for you," he said, gesturing. Stunned and confused, I walked in silently, Archer following. The Auditorium buzzed with activity, and Star's dog, Jorvunder, was running around, barking at random people. The Titans were seated at a table in the middle. I remembered that today was Friday. I'll have to leave my office about an hour earlier than usual.

I sat down at a small table close to the door. Archer sat across from me. I opened my mouth to tell him to quit following me, but he held his hands up as if to fend me off. Mary came over to take our order. Well, to set down the salad that I always ate. She gave Archer a different kind of salad. I glanced over the report as I ate. It took ten minutes to finish eating and reading. I looked up at Archer who quickly looked back down at his communicator.

      "Archer?"

      "Mm?"

     "What are you doing?"

     "Checking the radar. You?"

"I'm ready to leave." I stood and walked out, expecting him to follows. But I hesitated as I reached the door, and looked back, my hand resting on the door. He was talking to a couple of girls that had wandered over. I heard him excuse himself and grab the folder as I stalked out. I was mad. And I wasn't sure why.

Ashley's POV

I rushed around, checking the lights, speakers, microphones, and staff. I loved the Friday night performances. It would be awful if anything went wrong. I shooed unauthorized people out so the crew could get some work done. Mary organized the band memebers, instruments, song lists, the sound booth. Catrina would be in here soon to go over song lyrics. She could sing, which is unexpected to some people, especially after meeting her and observing her rather brusque demeanor.

I helped Mary by organizing kitchen staff and performers, then gave Cat her sparkly black dress she wore to perform. I used telekinesis [A/N: That's what it's called when you move things with your mind.] to put various objects in order. I skimmed over the songlist, smiled, and handed it back to Mary. Mary never failed at anything, and definitely dominated our MA traditional performances.

"Burnette, you'll be singing with Cat and your Aunt Savannah on #5. Mary will probably force me up there too, but that's okay. Archer, guitar. Amber, you'll sing backup. Where's the Jewel Girls?"

"You mean Saphire, Opal, Diamond, Ruby, Emerald, Pearl, and Jewel, right?" A voice called.

"Yes, yes, whatever." I answered back. "They'll be with Amber." I was kind of distracted by the fact that two tablecloths were conflicting colors. I just turned them both red. Mary sighed and shook her head. I sighed and changed them to white, then when she wasn't looking to checked white and red. It looked like a picnic tablecloth, but it had red. It was a compromise, I thought, satisfied. I heard a yelp and turned to see Catrina push her brother, WIlliam, off the stage. Thankfully, he landed on a table, on his back, but it still probably hurt. Catrina was ticked. People leaped out of her way as she stalked across the stage.

You see, Cat is a scary person. Even if you don't know her, you know she's dangerous by the look in her eyes.  And when she's mad... Well, you better run, and run fast. And try your very best to avoid her. This was definitely not good. Mary went up and talked to her. Hopefully, this would help calm Cat down. Otherwise, Cat would end up trampling someone. That wouldn't be good either. Especially since Catrina wears tall high heels on stage.

Catrina smiled, took the list, scanned it, handed it back, and walked away. Phew. Mary tamed the tiger. Temporarily, anyway. Okay, back to work, I told myself.

Archer's POV

I realized I had made Cat mad by talking to those girls. I had run after her, but she ignored me. I sat in her office quietly. I had smiled sheepishly, and the corner of her mouth had twitched, but she quickly went back to sulking. I let her be, but I still held doors open for her. I can't say I was surprised when she pushed poor Will right off the stage.

"You okay, bro?" I asked him.

"Yeah, I'm good. Somebody must have ticked her off." William brushed himself off coolly, as if being thrown off of a stage was completely normal.

"Sorry about that. She's mad at me..."

"Oh well," he shrugged. "At least she didn't tie you to a chair." [Reference to Teen Titans Chatroom "The Big MA Party"] "I gotta go, though, I have to check some materials over before we start."

"See you around," I nodded a goodbye and moved quickly to catch Catrina, who was calmly walking away from Mary. "Hey, Cat! Can I talk to you for a minute?" I caught up with her backstage. She turned to face me, flicking her hair back.

     "What is it?"

"Um, sorry about earlier. I shouldn't have talked to them," I admitted.

"Mmm. And why shouldn't you have talked to them?"

"Because," I answered truthfully. "When you go for a girl, you don't talk to any others."

     "It's a game?"

     "Not this time."

"Okay then," she said. "I guess you're not so bad. But it's a bit early to be confessing, by the way." Catrina smirked and walked onstage. Wait... I was supposed to be onstage, too. Dang it! I took my place in the band with my guitar just as they lifted the curtains and the audience cheered. Show time.

Robin's POV

The auditorium was crowded tonight. But, thankfully, the tables were reserved. Bruce, Seline, and William sat at the table beside us.

     "Hey, Bruce." I greeted him.

"Richard, Koriand'r. Hello, Raven, Victor, and Garfield." My team waved in recognition of their real names and returned to their menus. Except for Star, she had told me to get her the same thing I got.

     "How are you, Friend Bruce?"

     "I'm fine, how are you?"

     "I am excellent!" Star giggled.

"That's good," he said, smiling at her. "What about you, Richard?"

"Same as her," I laughed. Star tugged on my sleeve gently.

"She wishes to receive your order."

"Okay, thanks Star." I told the waitress our orders, along with the rest of the team. The waitress moved on.

     "Crime rates?"

     "Low," I answered. "Yours?"

"Same," he said tiredly. Suddenly, everyone began cheering. I looked up at the stage to see Cat in a glittery strapless black dress with a slit on the left side starting from her mid-thigh and going all the way down. The neckline was an inverted U with a low back. Her silky brown hair was loose and cascaded just past her shoulders.

"She looks very beautiful tonight," Star whispered to me. Catrina is basically my adopted sister, so I didn't look at her the same way I looked at Star. But she did look pretty.

"No as beautiful as you," I told her lovingly. Star smiled and giggled at the corny line. The waitress brought everyone their food, so my team and I dug in while Cat sang with the girl called Burnette.

"Oh! I forgot! I have to sing "Black Velvet" with Catrina tonight!" I heard Seline say. I heard a chair scrape back and Seline's heels tapping the floor as she walked out. Beast Boy started laughing, but was silenced with a look from Raven. Star giggled a little, but Cyborg choked on his drink.

"Catrina sings?" BB sputtered in disbelief. Raven rolled her eyes and pointed to the stage. He stared for a minure. "Whoa," he said, then shrugged and went back to eating. Ashley walked up to us, bubbling about something.

     "Hey, Robin, Starfire!" Ashley giggled.

     "Greetings!"

"Um, hi? What is it?" I questioned nervously.

"Your wedding! April?" Ashley waited a moment for me to get it. "April 3rd!"

"Glorious! That is soon?" Star squealed and hugged me tightly.

"Yeah... Air, Star," I reminded her. She let me go, her eyes glittering with excitement.

"So... A couple days! I'm announcing it today!"

"That's Sunday," I said, smiling at Star.

"Silverfire will be permitted to attend, yes?" Star asked carefully. Silverfire is our 2-year-old daughter who looks and acts like a 5-year-old, causing the team to question whether her age is really 2. Yes, she is two. I call her Sylvia for short, and Cy nicknamed her Syl. She looks like Star, but with brown hair and silver highlights running through it, and her bangs... Her bangs are beautiful. It looks as if my black, Star's red, and silver have been braided together by the way the three colors twine around each other. Her top bangs have red, black, silver, and brown streaks through it. Her eyes are the same color as mine, a crystal blue. [A/N: Keep in mind she looks just like Star, with the colors changed a bit. I have been waiting forever to bring Silverfire out ^-^]

"Actually, she'll be the flowergirl!" Ashley trilled. Sylvia is kept well-hidden to protect her. Star actually made her secret room (all of us have an empty room concealed in our bedrooms back at the Tower; mine has pictures and my briefcase, but it's a mostly empty room.) into Sylvia's room. I didn't know about Silverfire until about a year ago.

"She'll love that," I said. I adored Sylvia, and I taught her all I could. Starfire and I took turns training her, and sometimes the other teammates chipped in, too. Silverfire learned fast, and she wanted to learn everything. She knows English, Tamaranian, Spanish, Japanese, and Gordanian. She can fly, use starbolts (they're green), has alien strength, can use a bo staff and birdarangs, spar with swords, shoot a bow with the same deadly accuracy as her mother [Reference to the episode "Stranded"], and can take someone down with martial arts. Starfire frets over Silverfire and is majorly protective of her.

"Hey... Star? Want me to go get Silverfire from Jinx and Kid? They know me." Ashley bit her lip and added, "no harm will come to her. I'll teleport." Star thinks a moment before nodding hesitantly.

"She'll be okay," I assured her. A few minutes later, Silverfire ran over to us and clung to my cape. She didn't get to come out much, so crowds made her nervous at first. She got used to it quickly, and was soon talking to Bruce. Star went over to stand by her. Sylvia was wearing her combat uniform, which was like what Star was wearing when she first crashed on Earth [Episode "Go"], but it was turquoise instead of purple.

"What's your name? You look familiar. I believe I have seen you before." Silverfire said to Bruce. She used conjunctions off and on, but when she was mad or frightened, she spoke exactly like Starfire. Other than those two things, she spoke pretty normal-ish.

     "Bruce Wayne. Who are you?"

"I am Silverfire Grayson. Are you Batman?"

"Isn't it dangerous to talk to strangers?"

     "Sometimes."

     "Then that's your answer."

"But Mommy is allowing me to speak to you, so you must be okay. And Daddy has told me about you."

"Wait... Grayson? Richard, is this your daughter?"

"Yes, she is," I said proudly. "Hey, Sylvia, go over by Raven and BB, okay?"

"Okay. But it is Garfield, if you are using his real name." I laughed.

"Okay, sweetie." Syl ran over to BB, saying "hi, Uncle Garfield!" scaring BB so badly he jumped and fell out of his chair. Silverfire covered her mouth with one hand in polite sympathy, then giggled a little.

"She's very... angelic." Bruce said, strugging to describe her.

"She is most wonderful. She is special, as you may have seen. She has the best of our talents, attributes, and abilities," she said defensively, gesturing to me. But it was the truth. She was special.

"She's not just saying that, either." I said, wincing as Sylvia nearly knocked me over as she flew in front of me, putting a green kitten in my face. It looked mewed innocently. "Beast Boy, quit playing around!"

"Look, he is most adorable!" Sylvia looked up at me with her huge blue eyes that were so much like my mother's, while at the same time like Star's. It made for a very hard to resist combination. I don't know what I'm going to do if I have to scold her.

"Yeah, he is, but he's supposed to be watching you, not playing," I said sternly to BB. Syl giggled.

"Daddy is upset with you," she said to BB, holding him up in front of her face. "Heehee, Daddy will make you run around the track without morphing if you don't stop playing."

"You tell him, Syl. Raven, please keep an eye on her." I called over to Raven, who nodded. Syl flew over to show BB to Raven, giggling.

     "Isn't he cute?"

     "Uh... Sure."

"Will you really make Beast Boy run?"

     "I dunno, Bruce. Probably not."

     "You should."

     "Eh, I dunno."

"Robin will not command Friend Beast Boy to do the running. Silverfire is entertained by him," Star said, ending the banter.

"Okay, fine. I won't." I decided. Star smiled. "Well, maybe a little to reach him a lesson," I said, winking at Bruce.

"Hey guys! In two days, at two o' clock PM, we'll have a wedding for Robin and Starfire! Yay!" Ashley said onstage. Everyone clapped and there were a few whistles. Star moved closer and held my hand and smiling, her features lighting up with joy. I smiled back at her, and Silverfire shouted "YAY!"
