Robin's POV

    I woke up in a cool room on a comfortable bed. My arm was neatly wrapped in stark white bandages. My team was in the room... Everyone but Starfire. Memories slammed into me, viciously bringing me to Earth. Starfire was gone.

    "How long have I been out?" I demanded.

   "A day. We didn't expect you to wake up until tomorrow." Cyborg said. "But I guess you recovered faster."

    "I have to go. We have to find Starfire." I said, trying to get out of the bed. I was pinned by my team. "This is serious. We have to find her!"

    "Not yet. Not like that." Raven said plainly.

    "Dude! Your arm was ripped open! You can't just run around looking for Slade like that!" Beast Boy exclaimed, dramatic as always.

    "I have to." I stated.

    "Hey. Robin? Can I come in? Somebody came to see you." Ashley tapped on the door, opening it a fraction. "I think you'll want to see this person."

    "Sure. Can I-" I broke off as Starfire floated in nervously. "Starfire! How- when-... you're back!"

    "Yes. We were captured by Slade. Akihiko Juro enabled us to escape. He is a General of Japan, and is wanted by Slade. He knows valuable information, but he must first inform his father he is unharmed." Starfire hugged me. Akihiko came in.

     "We have alot of work to do. The madman belongs in an asylum." Akihiko stated. He called Slade a 'madman'?! That's an understatement... then again, this guy is a general. He's specially trained to not be afraid, and to be confident. From what Akihiko must have seen, he knows Slade is crazy and disturbed. This guy is a fearless general. We need him on our side.

    "Not only did he assist in escape, he is the one who enabled escape. He summoned a large creauture that can blow fire and telepathically undid our bonds! He is a hero that is most super!" Starfire said happily. I felt a twinge of jealousy. No. I don't need this. Starfire was paying attention to me, mostly ingnoring his presence. "Robin! What have you done to your arm?" Starfire touched my arm gently.

     "I'm alright now, Star. Let's see what's going on." I turned to Juro. "Do you want to start?" Akihiko nodded. "Everyone! Silence!" I firmly ordered, glaring at them with narrow eyes.

     He glared at Starfire, his eyes becoming cold. "I am no superhero." He corrected, his voice just as sharp as his sword. "We are under a limited amount of time." He stared at the group, his voice growing firmer. "It's imperative that we have to straighten out this situation with Japan and America. Then you can take care of your enemy." He explained, his voice serious as he glared at the team. "But my top priority is ensure Japan's safety." Everyone nodded understandingly.

       "How do we fix the problem?" I asked. I pulled Star closer subconsiously. I was a bit... protective still.

      "We need to contact my father." Akihiko said.  We nodded again. "Let's go." Akihiko collapsed before he reached the door.

      "Crap. Slade put a device in him. Let's get that out before it attacks his mind." Ashley picked him up and helped escort him into the next room. She came back. "A few minutes, but he won't be able to communicate just yet. I'll be back soon. Cyborg, I need you in the garage. Catrina will take you there. Raven, Beast Boy, Mary will take you to your quarters. Star, you're staying with Robin. He'll be ready to go by tomorrow." Ashley left. "And I'll take care of the call. We can stop this war."

      "Bye, y'all. Don't have fun without me, either of you couples." Cyborg winked mischeviously.

      "Cyborg!" We yelled. He left, chuckling evilly.

      "The nerve of him..." Beast Boy said indignantly. [A/N: Has anyone ever noticed that if you mis-type his name and leave out the 'a' his name is 'Best Boy'?] "We're all good kids."

      "We aren't kids, Beast Boy." I said, my usual saying. Beast Boy waved it off.

      "Whatever. That's what you think, 18-year-old. I'm 16... uhhh... still a little kid in there." Beast Boy said, putting a finger to his temple.

       "Right. You're still a little kid." Raven teased.

       "Hey!" Beast Boy said. [the other ages: Starfire: 18, Cyborg: 17, Raven: 17, I'm pretty sure. I got it from reliable sources... :)] They walked out the door with Catrina.

      "I don't usually show people to their rooms, but Mary's busy." Catrina said, leading them out.

      "You are unharmed? You may tell the truth now, no one is here but me." Starfire said.

      "I don't feel it anymore. I did tell the truth." I said.

      "The O and the K," Star replied, looking down and shuffling her feet uneasily.

      "You can sit down if you want. It won't hurt me." I said. She gingerly sat on the edge of the bed. "What happened?"

      "Tetris teleported us to the hide-out of Slade." Her Earth lingo was getting a little better, I noticed. "We were held unconsious until Slade woke us up. Akihiko was tied to a chair, and Slade attempted to cut off my air with steel wires that came from the wall. But I do not have to breathe to live. I signed him that I would be alright. Slade wished to kill me to break you and take you out of the war. He wished to use me to provoke you." Star continued the harrowing narrative, which was making me angrier and angrier.

      "What?! He won't get away with this!" I was steaming, but I knew Starfire wouldn't let me get up.

      "I do not believe he will either. With the provoking of you and General Juro, he will not escape this alive. Ashley was already planning to destroy him, but she will most likely not get the chance." Star said.

      "She won't need one. Especially if I get there first." I said. I will end this. Permanently.

Raven's POV

       We followed Catrina. The quarters were pretty much the same as the ones at Base 1. Almost as soon as we closed the door, I heard a knock. I opened the door.

    "Hello?" I said. Kylie was at the door. We (the Teen Titans) knew her, but Catrina didn't. She looked about 17 she had long brown hair that she keeps in a ponytail with bangs on either side of her face. She has teal eyes and freckles. She's a caring person, but shy around those she doesn't know. She's quiet and loves to read and draw. She would protect her friends no matter what, but doesn't usually accept help from others; kind of a lone wolf, so to speak. She looks human but she has wings that span 8 feet when she opens them (which she did when I opened the door suddenly.)

    "Hey. I'm Kylie, but I go by Kale. I can change into animals or just change certian parts like grow wings. I usually keep my wings out." Kale hurriedly introduces herself.

    "Awesome. Why are you here again?" Catrina said.

     "I had to stop by. The Titans found me. I was badly injured, and I'm almost fully healed." Kale said. [A/N: Learn about Kale in 'The Hero Rising' by midnightphoenix, it explains what happened to her. It is property of midnightphoenix, not me.]

     "Oh. Well, I have to go, I'll see you around." Catrina began walking off.

     "Bye." Kale and I said to Catrina's retreating form.

     "Are you doing alright?" I asked her.

    "Yes. Can I go to bed here? The door is over there. It's hidden. There are several hidden rooms in each dormitory."

    "Of course. Anything for a friend." I said. Kale walked over to the wall between the kitchen and bathroom. She touched the wall and a door appeared. She opened it and walked in, her wings tucked gracefully behind her. As the door closed, I turned to Beast Boy. "So... what do you want to do?"

    "Movie night!" Beast Boy exclaimed, holding up a movie. Thankfully, it was a horror-comedy. At least it had horror. I sighed.

     "All right." I gave in and sat down. 'Here we go.' I thought.

Ashley's POV

     I sighed as I worked on Akihiko Juro's shocked body. He had a tracker in him, along with one of Slade's torture devices activated in his cells. I sighed with relief as I finally safely removed the rest of the poison. I wiped my face and hands with a clean linen towel. This was a stressful procedure. I had managed to get it out, but the recovery would be based on his will. He began to stir. Okay, he had a iron will. No, a titanium will. I smiled to myself. He would be just fine.

Akihiko Juro's POV

     I woke up. I felt pain shoot through like a hot iron rod. Then I felt a pinch on my arm and it all went away. I was still awake, though. I saw Ashley.

     "No, that wasn't a shot. We don't do shots. I was being a bit hasty with the compressor. It gives off a frequency high enough to go through your skin painlessly and effectively. You feeling all right?" Ashley said.

    "Yeah." I said. I needed to get up. I had to save Japan.

    "I took care of that. Your father wanted to speak with you, though." Ashley said, turning to a screen. "Here." My father's face appeared.

     "Father! Hello."

     "Hello, my son. Are you alright?" My father asked.

     "Yes, father." I replied.

     "I have made an alliance with your friends here." My father said. I smiled.

     "The war is off. But another will begin. I wish for you to assist in return."

     "Yes, father." I said dutifully.

     "You are a good son. You make me proud. Now, do well in battle!" The screen cut off. Ashley turned to me.

     "A well-trained general is just what we need for this. Thank you." I nodded. The war planning had begun.
