" Ah. There you are." then he noticed me, " And I see that you have found our runaway," he said smiling. The hunters looked at the others, and then a girl came over. Thalia. I could tell she was the lieutenant of Artemis and when she looked at me fear bubbled into my stomach. I kept my face free of expression and nodded to Chiron.

"Yes. And I'm staying." I said, Thalia noticed Jason and greeted him with a hug.

" It's good to see you." I thought about my family. Oh gods, my family. I had completely forgotten.

" Are you okay?" Chiron asked,

" I just realized. My family. They have no idea where I am. They must be worried sick. I need to talk to my dad." I said,

" You have your phone?" Chris asked, I nodded.

" This way," Chiron said, I followed him to a room in the big house completely covered in celestial bronze.

" You can call in here. If you call in the cabin circle or any other place, about all the monsters in the woods would come for you." he explained, I nodded and dialed my dad. When he answered I was barely able to say hi before he started to talk.

" Alyssa. Where are you?" he exclaimed,

" Camp half-blood. I've been here the whole time. I'm fine I just kind of forgot about you guys because Chris and the girls are here. I'll be back by Christmas at the latest."

" Good. So you're fine."

" Yes." we talked for a few more minutes before I hung up and walked back to where the hunters and the rest of the camp were talking. Chris came up to me,

" Everything sorted out?" he asked,

" Yes." I said, I kissed him on the cheek, " And I forgive you." he smiled and took my hand in his. It turned out that they weren't here just to visit.

" You see Artemis sent us to find someone and present him or her with a gift. But this person has a special connection with her." Thalia explained, my heart skipped a beat. It's me. It has to be me, I'm her daughter. I knew that I was obligated to step forward. But what if they don't believe me? I realized that I still had the banner on my bracelet. Ok, here goes nothing. I stepped froward.

" It's me." I said.

Everyone turned to look at me, I could feel my hands trembling,

" And can you prove this? What connection to the goddess do you have?" Thalia asked, I was losing my nerve but I tried to answer, to tell the truth but it got stuck in my throat.

" I-I'm... She-She's...I," it was hard for me to answer with everyone staring at me, " Let me show you." I was able to manage, everyone nodded and I took the banner sharm off my bracelet and it grew in my hand until I was holding my banner from capture the flag. Everyone was puzzled by the banner.

" Here we go," I said, I untied the string and the banner unrolled. It was a silver banner with a moon and a bow on it. People were still confused.

" What?" Chris asked,

" I am her daughter." I said, everyone gasped, the hunters looked at each other.

" Not possible. she vowed to be a maiden forever." one of the hunters said,

" I-I know,. that's why I didn't tell anyone before. I didn't want anything to happen to her that would make her feel embarrassed or anything like that." I said, when the everyone got over the shock of Artemis having had a child, Thalia came forward.

" On behalf of Lady Artemis, we would like to present you with a gift." she said, bowing, another hunter came forward with the most beautiful bow and quiver I've ever seen. The bow was made of steel with a celestial bronze grip. There were three different kinds of arrows. Silver, celestial bronze and flint tranquilizer arrows. Each with gold feathers.

" Wow. Thank you. They're beautiful." I said,

" You're welcome." Thalia said, she said the hunters were going to stay for a few days and I smiled. I wasn't going to be alone in the cabin for a while. They moved their stuff to the cabin and Chiron announced that the annual capture the flag game would take place the next day. He also said That I could choose which camp I would play with.

" I would like to play with the camp. Maybe this time the camp will win for once." I said,

" We'll see." Thalia said, smiling smugly " It isn't likely. We always win."

" So I've heard. But no proof had been presented so I guess you forced them to say that." I said, a big 'ooooooooh' went up in the crowd,

" You wanna bet?" she said, " Winner gets two gold drachmas?"

" You're on." I said, I took her hand and we shook on it. " I hope you've got some." I said, another 'ooooooh' went up in the crowd. Luckily I did have two drachmas, so I was set for losing if we did. I said 'see ya' and went to the archery range.
