That night, I woke up when I heard something out in the woods, it didn't smell friendly either. suddenly, some sort of gas came into the room, I realized too late what it was, I had breathed it in and immediately felt a burning sensation in my lungs. I began to yell. I woke the hunters. They stared at me in annoyance. Then my breath was cut off and I began to wheeze, I fell to the ground, wheezing and coughing. The hunters stared at me in concern. Then the worst part came. I began to cough up blood. I rolled onto my side and was still coughing when Thalia reacted,

" We NEED to get her some help. NOW." she yelled, they brought me outside and Thalia sent someone to go get Chiron and someone else to go get an Apollo camper. They ran off. Thalia sat at my side.

" Everything is going to be alright." she said,

" Chris. Please, get him for me?" I said between coughs, I was very week, I couldn't even raise my hand, I was short on breath and I could feel my heart gradually slowing down. Thalia nodded, she told one of the hunters to go get Chris from the Athena cabin, the hunter who was trying to get the Apollo camper hadn't returned, I could hear her yelling,

" If you don't get up and come out here right now, I will come in there and drag you MYSELF!" she yelled, she waited a moment and apparently someone inside asked why and she got even more annoyed, and yelled loud enough for the entire camp to hear,

" BECAUSE SHE'S DYING YOU IDIOT, WHY WOULD I WAKE YOU UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT IF IT WASN'T AN EMERGENCY?!!! NOW GET UP AND HELP!!!" she yelled and immediately all the cabin doors flew open and campers spilled out. I could see the Athena cabin and when Chris came out I began to tear up.

" Chris.' I croaked, he saw me and bolted to my side, he sat on his knees next to me and took my hands, his face was wild with fear and concern, immediately another coughing wave erupter out of me, I knew the metalic taste of blood when it came into my mouth

" Alyssa, wh-what happened?" he asked, Chiron arrived and asked the same lady

" The bad lady, she can turn into poison gas now, she did it." I said between coughs,

" It's too late for the antidote. Nectar won't work." I said,

" Where is it? We have to try." he pleaded, I couldn't argue with that so I told him,

" Star labs. Central City, you'll need someone my dad will recognize." I said, They gave some nectar anyway, which stopped the coughing and helped me breath a little, but the poison was still flowing through my veins.

" Ok." Chris said, he was crying now, Rona offered to go and Hazel offered to take her on Arion, they left.

" I love you. I love you so much, Chris." I said,

" I love you too" I heard him say, I nodded, then everything went black.

(Was going to stop it here, then I decided just to keep going.)

Third Person P.O.V

Chris began gently shaking Alyssa,

" Alyssa! he sobbed, trying to get her to wake up. After a while, Chiron came and put a hand on his shoulder,

" She's unconscious. If she survives the poison, the best that'll happen immediately is- well- is that she'll be in a coma," he said, and Chris stopped shaking her, he began to just straight up sob, meanwhile...

Rona had just arrived at star labs, she told Hazel to wait for her outside and ran in the building, she arrived at where everyone was talking, she saw Alyssa's dad, Micheal. He looked at her,

" Rona?" he said, Rona nodded,

" Yes. But listen Alyssa's dying. She said that you had an antidote for poisonous gas." she said, Micheal's face immediately expressed concern, the other in the room a white girls with cinnamon curls told a guy with hair just a bit darker than her own to go get it and in a flash he was gone and back with the antidote,

" You- you're like Alyssa, you have superspeed." Rona said, he nodded,

" Yup I'm Barry by the way," he said,

" Rona. I'm Alyssa's friend from Starling city." He gave her the antidote, she thanked him and ran, he followed, she took Hazel's hand and climbed on Arion's back,

" Nice horse," he said,

" It's hers." Rona said pointing at Hazel, Micheal came out of the building,

" You better get that antidote to her in time," he said,

" Don't worry, we will." Hazel said, " Arion Long Island sound."

" That's in New York. She'll be dead by the time you arrive." Barry said, Rona just smiled mischievously and wrapped her hands around Hazel's waist.

" We will." she said,

" Arion run!" Hazel yelled, and Arion shot forward, Rona's last view of Alyssa's dad was with a shocked expression. Arion ran over everything in his way.

Now back to Chris.

They moved Alyssa to the infirmary. They prepared a bed for her and she was laid down underneath a blanket in a sort of sitting position. Her heartbeat was still slowing down so they gave her a little bit of Nectar. Leo brought out a machine that will measure her heart rate and give an alert if her heartbeat slows or if she begins seizing. Chris kept wiping his eyes. He was praying to all the gods that Rona would get back in time and that Alyssa would be okay. Everything had just been set up when Rona burst into the room with a syringe.

" Got it." she exclaimed, she gave it to Will Solace and he injected it into Alyssa's arm. her heartbeat began becoming more normal. Chris thanked the gods and that dinner sacrificed a bigger portion than usual. He kept training normally and still hung out with his friends but the rest of the time, you could find him in the infirmary by Alyssa's side. Rona, Ruby, Suzy and Lia would also visit her but not nearly as much as Chris did, they worried about him. What if she doesn't wake up? What if she dies? If that happened, what would Chris do? All this went through their minds more than once. Then came a full moon. Chris worried, what if she transformed? She isn't conscious of the full moon so maybe she won't. But if she does, than he's going to need to hide it. He addressed this concern to Annabeth.

" Oh my gods, you're right. I didn't even think about that." she said,

" Then what are we going to do?" Chris asked,

" My invisibility cap. We can put it on her when everyone goes to bed. Then if anyone walks by, they won't see her."

" but if she's gone, won't they raise an alarm or something?"

" Hmmm. I guess we can ask Leo to rig something up." She said, and Leo who walked by and heard their conversation cut in,

" Way ahead of you. you know that heart rate machine?" he asked

' yeah."

" Well it's rigged to keep her from transforming. I've had it standing by just in case one of us was unconscious during a full moon." he said, Chris nodded, relieved. That night he just went to see if it was working. The moon was already high in the sky. We walked down to her window. Still human. he sighed and walked back to his cabin, and went to bed. The days went by as normally as it could get for camp HalfBlood. Capture the flag, training, campfires, the hunters visiting for news on Alyssa, everything passed smoothly. The months past, and it wasn't until a year and a half past when anything happened.
