The Episode begins with a few students and the Winx in some sort of far away swamp as their teacher Professor Palladium began talking

"So as I was saying today's exercise will be rather difficult" Professor Palladium explained

Just then somebody began talking from the group

"Professor Palladium, a mosquito just bit me!" A girl explained

"Yes, well we are in a swamp and it's just a mosquito it's no big deal" Professor Palladium reminded

"True, there may be some things that bite us but sometimes they can't be deadly and I'm sure in these swamps there aren't any creatures that can kill us except for certain bugs and crocs" Y/N explained

"He's right you know" Professor Palladium agreed

"But look where it got me!" The girl reminded

The girl then pulled her legging from her short a bit as the group then saw some bite marks which made a few students laugh

"Oh my! From---Well, uh... What I meant was... Uh... T-To be shorts and to uh, eh... the point" Professor Palladium explained

Afterwards the others started laughing while Y/N didn't as he approached the girl

"Don't worry miss, you can get it treated when we get back and if you want I can help you" Y/N said

"No need, I can do it myself" The girl said

"Well alright just keep your short as it is for now and stay safe" Y/N suggested

"Y-Yes Y/N" The girl said blushing

While Y/N was talking to the girl Stella could only look in jealousy

"Getting a little jealous aren't you Stella?" Bloom asked

Stella who heard that then secretly shrugged it off

"Oh, no way, he can be kind at all times! I'm definitely not jealous!" Stella answered nervously

"Uh huh, like we didn't see that" Tecna lied

"That's besides the point!" Stella reminded angrily

Bloom then began whispering to Stella

"Still the poor professor, they shouldn't give him such a hard time" Bloom said sadly

"If he were more confident he'd get more respect" Stella explained

After the distraction Professor Palladium turned to the others back from his traumatic experience from before

"A good fairy should be able to listen to what nature tells us, today's exercise is designed to put your skills to the test, now you've all been put into groups so we're ready to begin, you have three hours to get out of black mud swamp and reach the clearing in the middle of gloomy wood forest without using magic, remember listen carefully to the voice of nature and follow it's advice" Professor Palladium suggested

Y/N then turned and whispered to his friends

"I've arranged for us to be in a team together" Y/N explained

Afterwards the group smiled happily at Y/N as Professor Palladium teleports away as the group then began murmuring in confusion and worry before they went into their teams with the Winx together as the Winx after discussing then went on their way before they ended up in some knee high mud and when they did they struggled to get out

"This place is... Ew... Totally disgusting" Stella said in disgust

"Oh yes dear, all this mud is so very inconvenient" Musa explained

"I agree but I can't shake off a bad feeling about this" Y/N explained

"I don't know if you realize it but we're knee-deep in what I would refer to as a problematic mud puddle, alright you guys take cover! I'll handle it" Tecna suggested

But before Tecna could lighten her magic Y/N stopped him

"Hold on, before we do anything I suggest we move out" Y/N suggested

"Why?!" Tecna asked

"For once I agree with him" Stella agreed

"Well, I've read a bit about these fairy mud puddles and I've read that they can create gas and explode into gas which I presume is sleeping gas" Y/N explained

"Then we should quickly go out of there!" Flora said

The group then quickly freed themselves and ran out the mud puddle and when they were out Bloom grabbed a stick and tapped it against one of the bubbles which then releases the gas with others following soon after

"Maybe you were right Y/N, a single spark and we would've been toast my friend" Bloom reminded

"Yeah" Y/N said

"Oh yes, we took a big risk!" Flora said

"Especially you Tecna, I would have sent you my dressmaker's bill" Stella reminded

Afterwards the rest of their friends began laughing

"Well, let's just continue on forward, we still have a long way to go and remember, no magic!" Y/N reminded

Meanwhile somewhere in Cloud Tower the Trix teleported into their room

"Free at last" Stormy said in relief before turning to her sisters in disbelief "I really can't stand Zarathustra's lessons!" Stormy reminded

"Knut you stupid ogre, where are you?!" Darcy asked angrily

Just then the locker doors began moving which made Darcy turn to it before grunting and approaching it

"I'm in here" Knut answered

Darcy then opened the doors with her magic as Knut was then seen struggling to stand up

"Un, can I come out now? My-my foot is asleep" Knut explained

"Let him out Darcy" Icy ordered

Just then a gross green stench came from the locker as it moved all the way to the Trix's noses making them gag

"What a stench!!!" Darcy called out in disgust

"Guess I shouldn't have eaten those beans" Knut said nervously

"Nevermind the beans Knut you always smell bad" Darcy reminded

"We gotta find him a better hiding place with better ventilation" Stormy suggested

"You gotta be more careful Knut! Nobody must know that you're here!" Darcy reminded angrily

"School regulations are clear when it comes to beasts, animals or other pets" Icy reminded

Just then the duck then ran towards Icy in awe

"Quack! Mommy! Mommy!" The duck called out

Icy then turned to the Trix in worry

"As I was saying" Icy started before picking the duck up by the collar "We've gotta be more careful, we already broke one rule today by making ourselves invisible to skip class" Icy reminded

While speaking Icy throws the duck against a wall making him hit it and make a gouge in the wall

"But we're witches aren't we? We're supposed to break rules!" Stormy reminded

"Ugh!" Icy called out before turning to Knut "Now you, did you just forget to use telepathy to send your message or did you want everybody to know about it?!" Icy asked angrily

"Forgive me your highness but I had an urgent message and uh I was hiding in the Red Fountain school just like you told me to you know and..." Knut started

"And?" Darcy asked angrily

"And I heard that the specialists will be bringing my hunting troll to Magix today to be turned over to the police and then he'll be sent to the Septumian prison!" Knut explained

"What an useless beast! He couldn't even manage to take Stella's Scepter! Ugh!" Icy said angrily

"Talk about useless! He got caught out of the house of Bloom and Y/N two earthlings and if they question him he'll spill the beans, he'll tell all about us and we'll be in trouble!" Stormy said worriedly

"Relax Stormy! Here's a way out of this: we will free the troll, we'll take advantage of his little trip to Magix to get rid of him forever" Icy suggested

A little while later the Specialists were seen riding their airship to Magix as the troll was tied up tight in his prison while Riven was steering as Brandon and Sky were sitting in their seats quietly before Brandon perked up

"You know Sky I have a strange feeling as if something is about to happen" Brandon explained

"Something fun or really bad?" Sky asked

"I don't know... Something" Brandon answered worriedly

"Relax you guys as you can see I have complete control of this aircraft" Riven explained

"Oh yeah?" Sky asked tauntingly

"You bet and don't you ever forget to call me Captain" Riven answered before the doors opened and Timmy entered the room "How's it going back there?" Riven asked turning to Timmy

"All right, the prisoner is calm" Timmy answered

Just then the airship began shaking as if it broke making the group worried

"Oops, maybe I spoke too soon" Timmy said worriedly

Brandon then turned to Timmy in worry

"What was that?!" Brandon asked worriedly

"It's coming from outside, something's out there" Sky answered

"What are you talking about? That's impossible, the sensors don't pick up anything!" Riven reminded

Just then the airship turned off as it began flying down

Meanwhile the Winx who were still walking then saw the Specialists in danger

"Look! A Red Fountain Aircraft!" Bloom called out in worry

"I'm gonna help them!" Y/N called out

Y/N then transformed

"What about us?" Musa asked

"You girls just focus on your lesson while I figure things out" Y/N suggested

Y/N then went off flying as he as quick as he could flew over to the Red Fountain Aircraft before using all his might to slow it down and when he did he used his magic to slowly put it to the ground only for it to break free before he noticed his magic strengthening as he turned around to see his friends helping

"You do realize we're never gonna let you handle this on your own, right?" Tecna asked

"Yeah, my bad" Y/N apologized

Afterwards the Winx all together used their might to slowly lift the aircraft onto the ground and when they did they went to the ground before detransforming and panting heavily

"I need to keep in mind not to do this myself" Y/N said

"Yep but at least we're still here" Stella said

The Specialists then went out of the aircraft

"What happened right there, it's like it broke down!" Sky called out

"I'll go check the machine" Timmy suggested

Timmy then went to the machine as the Winx then approached them

"Are you guys okay?" Y/N asked worriedly

"Isn't it rather obvious?" Riven answered rubbing his head

Y/N then chuckled nervously

"Yeah it is" Y/N answered nervously

"We're all safe and sound, thanks" Brandon thanked

Just then Brandon noticed that a piece of the Aircraft had a hole in it

"Oooh no!!!" Brandon called in worry before turning to the road where there were huge footprints "Where's the troll?!" Sky asked worriedly

After saying that the others gasped in shock and worry

"He's escaped" Brandon answered worriedly

"A troll? What do you mean?" The Winx except Stella, Bloom, Y/N and Tecna asked in confusion

"You were transporting a troll and you guys let him escape?!" Tecna asked in worry and shock

"We didn't let anyone escape, there was an accident, we lost altitude and..." Riven explained

"Mechanical failure!" Timmy finished

Y/N who was checking the hole closely then turned to the group

"It's less an accident and more of somebody freeing the Troll, I have a feeling the Trix are up to their old tricks again" Y/N explained

"Seriously!" Stella said in shock and disbelief

"Anyhow there's nothing to worry about, he's handcuffed" Riven explained

While they were talking Sky noticed the handcuffs laying in the mud

"Ooohh... Uh, Riven! Look what I found in the sludge!" Sky suggested

Afterwards the group gasped in shock

"I knew it! The Trix are doing it again! They're trying to distract the cops!" Y/N said in disbelief

"Still what are you guys doing around here?" Brandon asked

"We're in the middle of an assignment Brandon" Bloom answered

"Then get back to your assignment and don't worry about a thing, leave it to the Specialists!" Riven suggested

"The Specialists are gonna be here? When?" Stella asked in shock and excitement

After saying that Y/N began chuckling a bit as Riven growled before Stella approached him with a playful smirk before Riven points angrily at her

"We're right here you silly little girl!" Riven reminded angrily

"Geez, calm down dude, she was just joking" Y/N said

Stella then in worry walked back to her friends

"Still, what Riven means is that perhaps it would be best for you to go back to Alfea while we try to capture that animal" Sky suggested

Riven then angrily turned to Sky

"We don't need your editorial comments" Riven reminded angrily before speaking in a mocking tone "Your highness" Riven mocked

Just then some other fairies came as one of them went closer to the group

"And we don't need to be told what to do! We will take care of this on our own!" Somebody suggested

"Calm down girls, don't worry, I'm sure we can help enough!" Y/N said

"Y/N remember, we're a team, we're not letting you handle this on your own, nor will we do it for the specialists" Tecna reminded

The fairies then all gave agreeing murmurs

"Fine but don't make me regret it!" Y/N said in defeat

"You do what you got to do but don't ever say we didn't warn you!" Riven said

"Alright, let's split you guys into groups" Y/N said

"I'll be with my group searching for Professor Palladium and tell him what's going on!" Somebody said

"Good, the rest of you go in different directions, I'll be with the Winx and the specialists!" Y/N said

"Aye, aye captain!" The fairies called out

"Now come on guys, let's get to work, we got a troll to capture!" Riven reminded

The specialists then walked off as the Winx turned to each other in worry

"Now what do we do?" Bloom asked

"I'll be making a nest to capture the troll" Y/N answered

"Yeah and maybe we should go with the guys and help them find the troll" Stella suggested

"No, I don't think that's a good idea, I say we get back to the assignment we were given" Flora suggested

"But we need all the help we can get to get that troll, remember" Y/N reminded

"Yeah, we all know that troll he's a wild beast, Sky and the others could be in for mega-problems" Stella reminded

"Okay, if you all think so" Flora said in defeat

"Thanks Flora" Y/N thanked

"Well, one thing's for sure--- Something strange is going on here, have you noticed the hole in the fuselage? The aircraft is hit in flight" Tecna reminded

"Yeah that is true but I have a theory that might help this case" Y/N thought

"Really?" Tecna asked

"Yeah, what if the Trix wanted to free the troll so that it can cause much more trouble" Y/N reminded

"Hmm, that's a good theory Y/N but how would the Trix know that he's in that aircraft?" Tecna asked

"I don't know but somebody must've told them or they spied themselves" Y/N reminded

"Well, that's possible" Tecna said

"So I guess the Trix... Helped him escape!" Flora thought

"I'm afraid you're right" Tecna answered

"In that case we don't have much choice, do we?" Flora asked

The group then turned to each other happily before they approached the Specialists as Sky approached them before Tecna spoke

"The impact knocked out the stabilizer" Tecna explained

"And if the Trix did that they must have dealt with the handcuffs too!" Musa reminded

"Yep so that's what we think happened" Y/N explained

"And to make it worse, this is a psychic lock which to be able to opened would need mental powers" Tecna explained

Just then Bloom noticed some footprints on the ground

"Hey girls, check this out!" Bloom suggested the others then did so making them worried except for Stella "Notice anything?" Bloom asked

"Oh yeah, that guy's got feet the size of an ocean liner!" Stella realized

"Huge feet that leave no prints! See, they become less and less visible and then they totally disappear!" Musa explained

While explaining the prints slowly turn back into normal mud Flora then takes a step on the mud as showcasing

"But the ground's still soft, how do you explain that?" Flora asked

"It's as if the troll was on an ultrasonic weight loss plan!" Stella thought out loud

"Then it's as if the troll found a way to gradually achieve a state of weightlessnesss" Musa thought out loud

"I don't think it works like that Stella" Y/N corrected

"Well this sounds a bit like a flying spell!" Flora thought

"Yeah but trolls can't cast spells!" Tecna corrected

"So that means someone helped him" Bloom corrected

"Like the Trix which I briefly stated a few moments ago" Y/N reminded

"Yes so let's tread carefully, who knows what's in this swamp... Come on guys" Bloom suggested

The group then began walking again as they searched for the troll as Tecna began getting worried

"Finding a troll in a swamp turned out a lot harder than I thought" Tecna reminded

"He could be absolutely anywhere" Flora reminded

"Yeah, maybe I can use my spell to easily find him" Y/N said

Y/N then stopped as he began focusing which the others noticed before also stopping as they turned to Y/N excitedly before he stopped focusing

"I think I know where he is and let's just say two fairies are in trouble" Y/N explained

"What?!" The group gasped in shock

"Then let's quickly find and save them!" Stella suggested

The group then began running as they let Y/N lead them to the troll

Meanwhile the specialists were in search for the troll only to get trapped by some vines

"Hey, these branches are alive!" Riven called out in shock and worry

"That's impossible Riven! No form of animal life can survive here!" Timmy reminded

The vines then began getting closer and closer to the specialists making them worried

"And why not?" Sky asked

"There's nothing animals can eat here" Timmy answered

"Are you absolutely sure about that?!" Brandon asked worriedly

"Positive! But I'm beginning to have some serious doubts!" Timmy explained

Just then another vine slowly began approaching Timmy making him scream in fright

" HEEEEELLLLPPPP!!!" Timmy called out

Meanwhile the Winx were continuing to walk through the muddy plains and following the footsteps as some began speaking before Flora shushed them

"Don't make any noise, I recognize these plants, they're 'Quietus Carnivoris', they hate noise" Flora explained

"Are you sure?" Y/N asked

"Really? You believe it?" Stella asked angrily

"Yeah, why?" Flora asked

"Because I don't, I find it hard to believe" Stella explained before she whistled as nothing happened "See? Nothing's happened!" Stella said

Y/N then noticed that some plants went to go get Stella making him push her away

"Look out!" Y/N called out

After pushing Stella Y/N got caught as Stella could only grunt before she alongside her friends looked at how Y/N was pulled up into the air making Stella worried

"Oh no! I'm so sorry! I'm gonna save you!" Stella said worriedly

Stella then prepares herself to shot one of the vines that caught Y/N by the leg before Bloom stopped her

"Wait! Don't move!" Bloom suggested

Bloom then turned to Flora who then nodded before she puts a hand on her head and spoke with her mind causing the plants to go back into the ground and Y/N to fall into Musa and Tecna's hands who then dropped him to the ground

"Thanks girls" Y/N thanked

"No worries" Tecna said

Stella meanwhile could only look in embarrassment at what happened to one of her friends before Flora turned to her

"Will you keep your mouth shut from now on?" Flora asked

Just then the group heard a loud scream which caused them to turn to the source as they heard someone speaking to the source

"Stop yelling Timmy! I can't think straight!" Sky said angrily

The Winx then began approaching the source only to see that their friends were in a sticky situation

"Ah, there you are!" Stella whispered

"What happened here?" Y/N asked

"Keep whispering by all means, you wouldn't want to upset the digestive process of these plants" Riven said in disbelief

Just then the plant tightened Riven again who began groaning

"Be quiet, they want silence!" Y/N reminded angrily

Just then some plants began approaching Y/N

"Yeah, keep your voice down you dummy!" Musa agreed angrily

Flora meanwhile was speaking to the plants

"Everything's okay little plants, you can relax!" Flora said

Afterwards the plants dropped the specialists to the ground at once as Y/N rushed to catch them only for them all to drop on him causing the five to fall down

"I'm never gonna do that again!" Y/N said in disbelief

The specialists then stood up before Brandon helped Y/N up before they began walking further to search for Troll as Brandon approached Bloom which Bloom noticed as she turned around with him and the two held hands while Bloom struggled not to blush

"Um, I'm really glad to see you again Bloom!" Brandon said in a whispering tone

Stella approached the two afterwards with a smirk on her face as she cleared her throat

"You can speak normally now, we're out of danger!" Stella reminded

Y/N then turned to the group

"I think we should all look for the troll together at this point, what do you guys say?" Y/N asked

"Well, I'm okay with it!" Flora answered

"I refuse to team up with fairies" Riven said angrily

"You're on your own then buddy" Sky said before noticing Riven pout "And if you find the troll just give us a shout" Sky suggested

Riven then grunts in disbelief before Timmy approached him

"Keep in mind though, the forest is really large so you might lose your way if you go by yourself" Timmy reminded

"FINE! I'll come!" Riven said angrily

The group then began walking further into the forest on their search for the troll before they arrived at a pond where they saw a few stone slabs

"Alright, just follow my lead!" Y/N said

"Hold on Y/N, you sure this is safe?" Flora asked

"Of course and even if it isn't I'll protect you" Y/N said

"Hehe, you sure are a charmer" Flora said

Afterwards Y/N jumped onto a stone slab as he turned to his friends and whistled and so their friends jumped after him and one by one they jumped to the other stone slab, trying to get to the other side

When Timmy wanted to jump last he fell into the pond itself causing everyone to chuckle a bit except for Riven who could only look in disbelief

"First we've got the fairies to look after and now we've got clumsy Timmy as well!" Riven said in disbelief

Sky and Y/N meanwhile approached Timmy and helped him up while Brandon turned to Riven

"Riven, you've gone to far!" Brandon said angrily

Riven then turned to Brandon angrily

"You're just Prince Sky's yes man Brandon, why don't you go clean up his uh... Stables?" Riven suggested

"You're insulting, Riven" Brandon reminded

"So? What are you gonna do about it?" Riven asked angrily

"You're off the team buddy! Is that clear?" Brandon asked angrily

Afterwards Riven turned to the others who were glaring causing Riven to shrug in defeat

"Alright... Let's go find that troll..." Riven said in defeat

"Good but keep in mind we won't help you if you get into danger!" Y/N reminded

A few minutes later after Timmy had dried off by a bit of Y/N's magic while everyone took a break Bloom turned to Y/N

"So bro, do you still think it's safe enough to go over there?" Bloom asked

"Why?" Y/N asked

"I don't know, it's just... Flora told me that this pool doesn't look that good, I mean we were lucky that you, Sky and Timmy weren't infected by the water but what if it does happen to one of us?" Bloom asked

"If that's the case, I'll transform into a fairy and go get to Alfea and get some help but I'm sure we'll be fine" Y/N said

"Alright if you say so" Bloom said

Afterwards Y/N stood back up and turned to his friends

"Alright, that's enough resting for the moment! It's time to continue on our task to find the troll!" Y/N said

Everybody then nodded as they stood back up and went back to the lake

"That one looks good" Timmy said pointing to one of the stone slabs

"Thanks!" Tecna said

 Afterwards the group jumped onto the stone slabs one by one, making sure they don't fall off and they kept doing that with Musa and Stella being the last ones but once they bounced onto one they began moving rapidly which made both Musa and Stella try to hold on to their feet for dear life

"I-I know this might sound crazy but I think these clumps of turf a-are moving!" Stella said

Just then some other stones began moving making the others hold on too

"I was thinking the exact same thing!" Bloom said worriedly

"You can all stop 'thinking' now 'cause these clumps of turf are moving for real!" Tecna reminded

The ground then began to shake and once it does the stone slabs began moving forward as Y/N turned to the front

"Uh guys! I think we're gonna be in danger now!" Y/N said once he saw what was in front of them

"What?! What is it?!" Musa asked

"There's a whirlpool!" Y/N said pointing in front of them

The group then turned to the front only to see a whirlpool as the group was slowly approaching it making everyone worried

"You told me it was safe!" Bloom reminded angrily

"Can you not right now?!" Y/N asked angrily

"Quiet guys! Jump!" Flora ordered

"Right!" Y/N said

The group then began to jump as they tried to get themselves to safety until Stelle fell into Sky's hands

"Oh! Thanks Sky" Stella thanked

"Careful" Brandon said before turning to the others "Try not to fall in the water, okay guys" Brandon reminded

The group then nodded as they continued to jump, trying to get themselves out of danger only for Riven to fall into the water

"Riven!!!" Brandon and Y/N called out

Just then Tecna approached Riven and helped him up

"Gotcha!" Tecna said

Just then Tecna and Riven got too close to the whirlpool

"Can you be any slower?!" Y/N asked

"Now's not the time! They're about to fall!" Musa reminded

Y/N then began to think as he thought of what to say to the whirlpool and after a minute he figured it out

"Hey water, sorry that we got into your turf but we really need to find the troll, he escaped his capture, could you please let us go" Y/N thought

"Only if you promise that you'll never approach our turf ever again" A sound was heard saying

"Of course, we promise" Y/N said

Just then the water calmed down as everybody turned to see Tecna had finally saved Riven

"Everybody! Go out of this spot! We're angering the spirits!" Y/N reminded

The group then went out of the water and when they got out they all panted in relief

"Whew! That was close!" Bloom said

"Too close!" Tecna said

"How'd you manage to do this Y/N?" Flora asked

"Let's just say I'm friends with the spirits here at this moment" Y/N said

Flora then gave an unsure eye before shaking it off while everyone stood back up

"Come on guys, let's go... We've got a troll to catch... We've lost too much time already..." Riven reminded after standing up

The group then continued to walk before they found a blue troll looking away from the group making everybody gasp in shock

"We found him" Brandon said

Somebody then began screaming for help as the group decided to rush to the source where they saw somebody screaming as Bloom was the first to realize who it was making her gasp

"That's Amaryl!" Bloom said in shock

"The fairies of Alfea are in danger!" Sky reminded worriedly

The group then rushed towards some bushes where they saw three girls trapped against a corner by the Troll

"The girls are trapped! We've got to do something before the Troll starts making trouble!" Bloom reminded

"We gotta be quick and to the point! Number one: Find a way to distract the Troll!" Sky ordered

"Oh!" The Winx gasped in realization

"I hope your plan also has a number two!" Stelle said

"Of course! Brandon and Timmy will grab a hold of him, then Riven and I will slip the handcuffs on him, any complaints?" Sky asked as everyone looked at each other and while Y/N didn't agree with this idea he didn't say anything and so Sky nodded "Alright then, let's do it!"

The Winx then rushed over to the Troll as Bloom pointed at him in anger

"Hey you big bully! Remember us?" Bloom asked angrily

The Troll then turns around only to see the Winx standing there except Y/N who suddenly began twerking which made him roar

"Come and get us dodo head, come one!" Stella called out

The group then ran as they split off making the Troll confused on where to go before he decided to go after Bloom which was a big mistake as Timmy and Sky approached him and grabbed his legs causing him to trip and when he wanted to stand back up Riven and Brandon jumped onto them too

"Come on, quick! What are you waiting for?! Cuff him!" Sky ordered

"Easier said than done!" Riven said

Riven and Sky then began handcuffing the Troll, but while they were struggling to put one hand in the cuff it caused Riven's face to get caught in another hand as he roared in his face

"Hurry up you guys! I-I can't hold on!" Timmy reminded

Just then the Troll stood back up causing both Brandon and Riven to hold onto his arms in the sky which he then threw away as Y/N quickly jumped while flying up in order to catch both Riven and Sky as he slowly flew down with Musa and Stelle helping him put them back on the ground

"Thanks guys" Riven thanked

"No problem, anything to protect a friend of mine" Y/N said

Bloom meanwhile could only watch as the Troll ran off as she gasped in shock while Brandon turned to Timmy who had cuffs on his hands in defeat

"Great, we lost him again! What a good job we did..." Brandon said

"Hey, look on the bright side, the Fairies from Alfea are safe" Y/N reminded which made everyone glare "What?! I'm right aren't I?" Y/N asked

Afterwards the fairies approached the group as one girl turned to Brandon

"So you guys are the 'specialists' huh? Specialists in what? Botchery?" Amaryl asked

The fairies then laughed a bit while rushing off

"That's the thanks we get?" Sky asked in defeat

"Chillax guys, we did our best, let's just take a break for a moment, after a while we'll go back to our search for the Troll, and this time we will find him" Y/N said

"But do we even have time?" Tecna asked

"I'm not promising anything but for now, give me some time to do some troll sensing spell to find him" Y/N said

"Very well, as you wish" Tecna said

And with that the group split off as Y/N began sensing where the creature is before he sees the Troll again who was bouncing ahead and sniffing the air to try and find Icy's scent

Meanwhile, while Y/N was checking the area Bloom turned to Brandon who was sitting on a tree stump in sadness and defeat

"Brandon?" Bloom said while approaching him

"Oh hi, it's you" Brandon said in sadness, not caring to talk with her

Bloom, knowing Brandon needs some perk up then sat next to him

"You know, even if you lost the troll again what you did back there was very nice" Bloom reminded

"That's nice of you to say Bloom but you know it's not true" Brandon reminded

"You guys saved those ungrateful fairies from the troll..." Bloom reminded

"Bloom, your friends weren't really far off the mark you know, we're not 'specialists', we're a bunch of rookies" Brandon reminded

"But..." Bloom started

"The only thing we do really well together is... Argue" Brandon reminded

Bloom then sighed a bit

"Look, I know you both had a bit of a rough patch this time but I'm sure that whenever we find the troll things will get easier, I promise, and if it counts for something, I'll definitely have Y/N help you guys solve your troubles" Bloom reminded

"That's very nice of you to say but I don't really need any---" Brandon started

"I know you don't need any help but if it were Y/N's decision I'm sure he'll insist and so I'll insist too" Bloom said

"Hehe, thanks Bloom" Brandon said

"No problem!" Bloom said

Meanwhile Riven and Brandon were 'talking' to each other

"Don't try to blame me Sky! I'm not the one who handcuffed Timmy!" Riven reminded angrily

"What?! You had the handcuffs!" Sky reminded angrily

"Who?! ME?!" Riven asked angrily

Timmy who heard them argue then approached them and split them up

"Alright! That's enough! If we can't work as a team we'll never be able to catch the troll!" Timmy reminded

"You're right, we gotta work together, if not, we're never gonna succeed, should we try again?" Sky asked

Riven then laughed a bit before turning to Sky

"Alright!" Riven said

"Got ya" Sky said with a smile

Timmy then laughed a bit as the others looked at them talking as Y/N approached them

"So, did you fix the situation?" Y/N asked

"Riven and I have called a truce" Sky explained

"I'd have prefered everlasting peace but I can live with that, now come on, I think I found a clue" Y/N said

"Alright, let's go then" Riven said

Meanwhile in the dark forest of Black Mud Swamp the Trix were seen staring into the distance waiting for their partner in crime to come back as Stormy started to get impatient

"I knew it! I knew it!" Stormy said angrily

"You gotta learn to chill out Stormy, everything is under control, right?" Icy asked turning to Darcy

"But he could be lost!" Darcy reminded

"Impossible! When a troll picks up a scent he never loses it!" Icy reminded

"Maybe he got stuck in the quicksands!" Darcy reminded

"But our anti-gravity spell, that would've kept him from sinking!" Stormy reminded

Icy then began thinking worriedly

"What if that made him lose the scent? But then again, I never hatched a plan that's not perfect" Icy thought

Just then the same duck from moments ago walked by to Icy

"Mommy! Mommy!" The duck called out while walking

"What?!" Icy asked angrily

"Mommy! Mommy!" The duck called out

"Wretched creature!" Icy said angrily

After she said that she froze the duck's legs as the duck then tried to hop to her until the group heard the troll approaching making them turn around

"Well, well, look who's here!" Icy said in relief

The troll then sniffed the air just to make sure he's at the right place before he approached the group

"At last, you made it, we gave you freedom and you did as you were told and now you must return to Oblivion" Stormy said

"Goodbye Troll, our secret vanishes with you!" Icy said

The Troll then looked in shock and confusion but before he could react he was teleported away by the Trix who had made a circle around him

"Mission accomplished" Stormy said in relief

"Now, let's go back to Cloud Tower" Icy said

The Trix then left and at the right time because as soon as they left the Winx and Specialists had arrived at the spot where they saw nobody as Y/N looked around to try and find them

"Huh?! He's not here?!" Y/N asked in shock

Y/N then rushed towards a tree and looked around where he found nothing as he went to the other trees as Musa approached him

"That's enough Y/N! Where's he?!" Musa asked

"I don't know?! H-He was supposed to be here! I'm sure of it! Let me try and use the spell again!" Y/N said

Y/N then tried to use another spell only for him to fall back in shock as Tecna and Flora helped him up

"You alright Y/N?" Flora asked

Y/N then grunted as he shook his head to remove the pain

"Yeah, it's just... He's gone!" Y/N said

"GONE?!" The group called out

"Yeah, it's like he just... Vanished in a puff of smoke!" Y/N said

"Seems like we were too late..." Stella said

"How will we explain this to the Magix police?!" Brandon asked

"I'm not sure..." Bloom said before turning to the rest of the group where she noticed thatStella felt something

"Is it just me or is there some negative energy in this part of the swamp?" Stella asked

"I feel it too! It's as if someone cast a spell here!" Tecna reminded

"Someone used a spell to make the troll disappear?" Sky asked in confusion

"First they help him escape, then they help him in the swamp and make him disappear!" Sky realized

"But who would wanna do something like that?" Brandon asked

While they were discussing Bloom picked up some feathers which Tecna saw

"What's that in your hand there Bloom?" Tecna asked

"I'm not sure, I may be wrong but these feathers look familiar, ring a bell?" Bloom asked

"Icy's duck!" Musa realized

And what does it have to do with this story?" Flora asked

"I haven't got a clue but I'd really like to know" Bloom answered before turning to the rest of the group "While we may have lost this fight, we haven't yet lost the war, let's all go back to our own groups and after a while we will start this investigation again, maybe by then we will find the troll" Bloom suggested

Everyone agreed and so they went back to the Specialists airship as they flew back to the Winx's class where they then exited as Brandon turned to them one last time

"Well, if you guys don't mind, we'll stay here and wish you goodbye" Brandon said

The Winx then turned to their class as Y/N puts a hand on Bloom's shoulder which made Bloom nod as she turned back to the Specialists

"Don't worry about it, we totally understand!" Bloom said

Afterwards the door of the Airship then closed as the Specialists flew off with the Winx waving back at them before turning to the other students and Professor Palladium who approached them

"I watched you during today's exercise and even though you came in last, I'm really satisfied with your performance" Professor Palladium explained

"WHAT?!" The group asked in shock

"You've shown courage, initiative, generosity, as well as excellent decision making capabilities so in the light of the outcome of this exercise, I'd like to say that it was just a test run" Professor Palladium explained

"No fair! We did all that for nothing?!" Amaryl asked in shock and disbelief

"I wouldn't say for nothing miss Amaryl, some of you learned a lot today Professor Palladium reminded

Meanwhile in Red Fountain the Specialists have brought the Airship to the repair center before leaving as Sky turned to the group

"This mission was a complete failure..." Sky said sadly

"It's true, we did lose the troll..." Timmy reminded

"But it was a great experience anyway!" Sky reminded

"It's true prince Sky! For the first time in my life I felt that I was part of some kind of group!" Timmy agreed

"Well then, you know what I say? A real team of 'Specialists' was born today!" Brandon reminded

"I agree and guys, please do me one favor, stop calling me prince, it makes me feel old" Sky reminded

The group then laughed a bit in what Sky just said

Meanwhile a little later in Stella's room Stella was trying to sleep as Bloom knocked on the door before opening it

"Stella, you awake?" Bloom whispered

"Yeah..." Stella answered sadly

"Everything okay?" Bloom asked

"Yes Bloom... Goodnight..." Stella answered sadly

Bloom worried for her then closed the door halfway before she looked at Stella one more time who had fallen fast asleep

"Goodnight Brandon..." Bloom whispered

Afterwards Bloom closed the door, taking one last look at Stella before going to her room ready to get some shut eye
