Kevin and the Rainbooms kept waiting at school statue/portal to Equestria with Rarity painting Fluttershy's nails, Applejack and Pinkie Pie play cards, Sunset reading through her magic journal, Rainbow Dash holding her soccer ball while he are standing up and going through his phone.

Rainbow Dash: "I'm starting to think she's not coming."

Kevin: "We don't know yet Rainbow Dash. Remember the portal to Equestria is still closed so maybe Twilight is going to find out what we're dealing with the and she'll message us through Sunset's journal." He said as he put he's phone away.

Rainbow Dash: "You sure about that?"

Kevin: "Well it's either that or maybe Twilight trying to find a way to open the portal to our world in Equestria using magic or some sort of device."

Sunset Shimmer: "Knowing Twilight, she'll try and open the portal to this world."

Fluttershy: "Kevin, have you tried opening the portal with your dragon slayer magic?"

Kevin: "Yeah once, after the whole Fall Formal incident, the next day I went up to the statue here and tried to focus my dragon slayer magic to open the portal to see if I could do it but I couldn't open the portal. I guess I need a ton of dragon slayer magic energy to open the portal to Equestria."

Then all of a sudden, a flash of light happens from the statue's bottom mirrors which surprises the girls.

Applejack: "What in tarnation?!"

Kevin: "I recognize this light! It's the same light that appear when Twilight and Spike entered our world!" He said

Rarity: "So your saying..."

Kevin: "I think someone from Equestria is coming to our world."

Then all of a sudden, a person shot out of the light and is sent flying towards him and crashes into him.

Rainbooms: "Kevin!" They said worried.

Sunshine, Sunset Shimmer: "Are you okay-" they starts to say but stops when the both of them saw the person that crashed into him and on top of him and...

Is kissing him on the lips!

And that person is Twilight!

The Rainbooms (along with Spike who also came out of the portal but wasn't shot out like Twilight was) eyes widen and jaws drop in shock at the scene in front of them.

Meanwhile in Canterlot High, some females were minding their own business when they suddenly stopped what they were doing upon feeling a tinge of jealousy as if someone had gone and done something that they had wanted to do first.

Back with Kevin and the Rainbooms, he soon realized what is happening as he saw Twilight on top of him and kissing him which he's eyes widen and blush.

Twilight soon realizes what's going and saw she was on top of you and she's kissing him which made her eyes widen and blush as well.

Which makes her quickly get off of him and then she pick up her you can't see me hat and put on her head.

Twilight Sparkle: "Kevin!"

Kevin: "Ummm...hi Twilight?" He said.

This lead to an awkward moment of silence as looks away while he just rub the back of his head while the rest of the girls couldn't help but feel jealous at Twilight kissing him which they glow in a flame aura of Jealousy.

Twilight Sparkle: "Ummm...Kevin, about what just happened-" She starts to say, he quickly put his hand to stop her.

Kevin: "Twilight, it was an accident, accidents happen so what happened wasn't your fault and besides...it's good to see you again and I see you and Spike are still wearing the hat and necklaces that I gave you." He said with a smile which made Twilight smile.

The Rainbooms shake their jealousy away and Sunset Shimmer approaches Twilight.

Sunset Shimmer: "Hey Twilight." She said a little nervously and offered her hand to Twilight.

Twilight looked a little nervous but took Sunset's hand and Sunset pulled Twilight up to her foot while he got up himself. The Rainbooms hugged Twilight and welcomed her back.

Twilight Sparkle: "It's good to see you all again and I got your message."

Kevin: "You did? So do you have any idea what we're dealing with this time?"

Twilight Sparkle: "Yes and I got bad news about those new girls." She said which made everyone worried.

Kevin: "So who are they exactly?"

Twilight Sparkle: "From the way they were described in the message you gave me, those three girls might be the sirens." She said.

Rainbooms: "Sirens?"

Sunset Shimmer: "The sirens? I think I read about them before."

Twilight Sparkle: "Long ago in Equestria, there were three sirens that caused trouble across the lands. They used their eerie songs to turn the ponies of Equestria against one another and fed on their negative energy from their hatred and distrust which made them powerful enough to control minds. If they had their way, the sirens would have divided and conquered Equestria." She explained which shock him and the girls.

Fluttershy: "Were they stopped?"

Twilight Sparkle: "They were. Before the sirens could conquer Equestria with their dark magic, a powerful unicorn named Star Swirl the Bearded appeared before them and stopped them. According to legend, Star Swirl used a powerful spell to open an portal in space and time and banished the sirens through the portal to another world, one where he believed their magic power would be lost." She explained.

Kevin: "And that world would be this one right?"

Twilight Sparkle: "Yes I believe so."

Applejack: "Now hold on there a minute. You said this Star Swirl banished the sirens ages ago so how can they be sufacin' just now and wouldn't they be like really old?"

Kevin: "From what Twilight's story, the portal Star Swirl used was a portal open in space and time so when the sirens where sent through it, they weren't just banished to another world but banished somewhere else in time. So the sirens could have been in this world for maybe a few weeks, months or even a few years." He said.

Twilight Sparkle: "I guess that's possible."

Kevin: "So what are we going to do to stop these sirens?" He asked.

Him and the Rainbooms went to Sweet Shoppe for a change of pace and to think more clearly.

Rarity: "Oh I do hate that you had to return at a time of crisis. There's so much catching up to do."

Kevin: "So Twilight, what's up in Equestria?"

Twilight Sparkle: "Well..."

So Twilight told him and the Rainbooms about somethings that has happened in Equestria with her and her friends learning more about friendship and just recently how she and her friends stopped an evil minotaur named Tirek from trying to steal Equestria magic to take over Equestria and how she just opened the portal between Equestria and the Human World using the magic from Princess Celestia's old journal into the Crystal Mirror to reopen the portal.

Kevin: "Sounds like you went through quite the ordeal." He said.

Twilight Sparkle: "You have no idea.

Spike: "She's even got an official title now. The Princess of Friendship."

Sunset Shimmer: "Wow that's really impressive. Guess you really are Princess Celestia's prized pupil."

Sunshine Shimmer: "I agreed with you Sunset." She said to her counterpart.

Spike: "She's even got her castle!"

Rarity: "A castle?!" She said and grabbed Twilight by her shirt. "You have your own castle?!" She said excited, only for him and the others looking at her so she let's go of Twilight's shirt. "Oooh, uh, lovely." She said with a bashful smile.

Twilight Sparkle: "So what's new here? I mean besides your school becoming the target of dangerous magical creatures from Equestria." She asked.

Kevin: "I think I should show you this." He said as he took out his phone and showed Twilight photos of the Rainbooms in their Pony-Up Forms while playing instruments which surprised Twilight.

Twilight Sparkle: "Did they just transform?!"

Kevin: "Yeah it's quite the surprise isn't it."

Rainbow Dash: "Pretty sweet huh? It happens to us when we play."

Kevin: "So Twilight, any idea why they transform when they play their instruments?"

Twilight Sparkle: "Hmmm, my crown was returned to Equestria but some of it's magic must have remained here at Canterlot High." She explained before gaining a smile. "Now that we're all back together, we can use magic on the sirens. Just like when we were able to use it on Sunset Shimmer when she turned into that horrifying winged monster." She said before realizing her mistake. "No offense." She apologized to Sunset Shimmer and Sunshine.

Sunset Shimmer & Sunshine: "None taken." They said before sighing. "We used to it." They said before he rubbed their backs which made them smile.

Rainbow Dash: "They'll never know what hit them!" She said and did a bunch of karate moves along with noises before being stopped by Applejack.

Applejack: "We've got nothin' to worry about now that Twilight's back."

Fluttershy: "Oh I'm pretty sure I could find something to worry about." She said a little worried at first before smiling. "But it won't be the sirens."

Twilight Sparkle: "The sooner we do this, the better. Any idea where the Dazzlings might be?" She asked as Pinkie finishes sipping her milkshake.

Pinkie Pie: "There's a big party at the school's gym for all the bands who signed up to be in the showcase. That would include the Dazzlings."

Twilight Sparkle: "Looks like we got a party to crash."

Kevin: "Well let's get going then." He said.

He and the Rainbooms were in the gym where the party for all the competitors that signed up is happening but unfortunately the competitors are arguing with each other. Some of the bands in the gym include the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Trixie's band called Trixie and the Illusions, Flash's band called Flash Drive and speaking of Flash, he walks up to the snack table where he is.

Flash Sentry: "Hey Kev? You're in this competition.

Kevin: "Yeah I'm with the Rainbooms." He said.

Flash Sentry: "Is that so?" He said with narrows eyes before noticing Twilight. "Twilight? What are you doing here? Are you here for the competition?"

Twilight Sparkle: "I guess you could say that."

Flash Sentry: "Well there's not gonna be any real competition." He said as he crosses his arms. "No one wants this as bad as my bands does."

Then the gym doors open and the Dazzlings enter the gym which he and the Rainbooms notice.

Kevin: "Can you excuse us for a second?" He said and walked away with Twilight as Flash just shrugs.

Twilight Sparkle: "Is that they them?" She asked as she looked the Dazzlings.

Kevin: "That's them alright."

The Dazzlings watch as the other bands are arguing with each other.

Adagio Dazzle: "Oh no! No one's mingling! It's like there's some kind of underlying tension that could bubble to the surface at any minute." She said in a mock tone.

Sonata Dusk: "It's the fruit punch isn't it? I knew I used too much grape juice." She said which made Aria roll her eyes.

Adagio Dazzle: "It's not the fruit punch, it's us!" She scolded to Sonata.

Aria Blaze: "But the punch is awful too." She said to Sonata.

Sonata Dusk: "What do you know about good fruit punch?" She said back to Aria.

Aria Blaze: "More than you."

Sonata Dusk: "Do not!"

Aria Blaze: "Do too!"

Adagio Dazzle: "This is just the kick-off party girls. Imagine what a tizzy they'll be in by the time the Battle of the Bands start." She said with a sinister grin makes the other two sirens grin.

Twilight Sparkle: "There isn't going to be a Battle of the Bands!" She called out which gained the Dazzlings attention as they look at Twilight who along side her are Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Fluttershy. "We're gonna make sure of that." She tells them.

Sunset Shimmer nods in agreement and smirks at the Dazzling while he was just watching.

Kevin: "Let's see what happens."

Twilight Sparkle: "Alright girls, let's do this!" She said as the girls grab each other's hands. "Friendship is Magic!" She called out...

But nothing happens!

The Dazzlings just look at each other in confused with Sonata just shrugging, Sunset and Sunshine looks confused at first until she feels embarrassed for her friends while he look at them with a blank stare and just sighed.

Kevin: "Of course things aren't going to be this easy." He muttered.

Everyone just looks at them with an awkward silence and someone coughs while the six girls notice nothing has happened.

Rainbow Dash: "Uh, weren't there rainbow and lasers and stuff last time with Kevin's blaster?" She asked confused.

Twilight Sparkle: "I don't understand. We're all together again. Why isn't this working?" She said confused as everyone continues staring at the six girls with the Dazzlings smirking as Spike pokes his head out of Twilight's bag.

Spike: "You, uh...really need to go ahead and do that whole "magic of friendship " thing right now." He said to Twilight.

Twilight Sparkle: "I'm trying, Spike. I thought the six of us standing together against the sirens would bring out the magic we needed to defeat them. That's what happened before." She said while Kevin thought about what Twilight said.

Kevin: 'If the six of them standing together against the sirens won't bring the magic out then what will?' He thought while Adagio takes advantage of the situation.

Adagio Dazzle: "Talk about throwing down the gauntlet! This group is obviously serious about winning! A little cocky though, aren't they? Claiming there won't really be a battle. Seems they think they've already got this thing all locked up." She calls out to all the other competitors in the gym which makes the other bands a little angry.

Trixie Lulamoon: "Not if the Great and Powerful Trixie has anything to do with it!" She declared.

Flash Sentry: "Whatever, Trixie! We're the best band in CHS!" He argued back.

Apple Bloom: "No! The Crusaders are going to win!" She argued.

Soon all of the other competitors besides the Rainbooms start arguing with each other, causing their negativity to appear as green mist which the Dazzlings absorb with their pendants and feed off of the negativity. One the Dazzlings finish feeding off of the negativity, Adagio notices the Rainbooms aren't affected.

Adagio Dazzle: "I think we found what we're looking for, or rather, it found us." She said with an sinister grin which Aria soon realizes what she meant so Aria grins as well but Sonata doesn't which causes Aria to facepalm and Adagio to get annoyed. "Magic! Don't you see? Everyone else has fallen under out spell but not these girls." She said as the sirens watching everyone else argue while Kevin and the Rainbooms sneak out of the gym. "These girls are special." She said as the sirens grin sinisterly.

Shortly after that fiasco, Kevin and the Rainbooms were outside the front of school on the steps.

Twilight Sparkle: "It doesn't make any sense. I should have been able to create the spark that would help us break their spell. That's how it worked before." She said as she walked back and off.

Sunset Shimmer: "But to defeat me, you drew magic from the crown I was wearing. The sirens' magic comes from their music. So many you have to use the same kind of magic to defeat them." She said suggested. "Or maybe not."

Twilight Sparkle: "No, I think you're onto something."

Sunset Shimmer: "Really?"

Twilight Sparkle: "It's when you play music is when you transform now right?"

Applejack: "Yup. Ears, tail, the whole shebang."

Twilight Sparkle: "So maybe the way to use magic to defeat the sirens is by playing a musical counter-spell." She said to everyone.

Fluttershy: "I like a song?"

Kevin: "You're on to something Fluttershy." You put your cents in. "If the sirens use their magic through singing to put everyone under the spell then we need to do the same thing but break everyone out of the sirens' control."

Twilight Sparkle: "Kevin has a point, in order to break everyone out of the sirens' spell, we need everyone to hear it." She said.

All of them though on how everyone should hear the counter-spell song until Rarity gasp in realization.

Rarity: "The band competition! That's the next time we can be certain everyone will be in the same place at same time."

Applejack: "Guess the Rainbooms are the band to beat."

Rarity: "And I believe you Twilight, just became the Rainbooms' newest member." She said with the other band members agreeing with the suggestion while Sunset looked down a little sad.

Pinkie Pie: "So what do you wanna play?" She asked as she zipped away and came back holding a triangle. "Triangle?" She then put the triangle and comes back with a sousaphone. "Sousaphone?" She blows into for a moment before disappearing and came back with a Theremin. "Theremin?" She plays the Theremin before getting a satisfied look. "Soooo magical."

Twilight Sparkle: "I might take a little too long to learn how to play an instrument with these." She said as she refers to her hands. "I'll just sing."

Rainbow Dash: "Like as in lead singer? Cuz that's my gig. This being my band and all." She said egoistically.

Applejack: "It's our band!" She said annoyed. "And of course Twilight's going to be lead singer. She's the one with the magical know-how to help us pull this off."

Kevin: "AJ's got point and besides, Twilight hasn't been in a human body for a long time so there's not enough time to teach her to play an instrument." He said which made Rainbow Dash give in.

Rainbow Dash: "Okay I guess that's cool. It gives me time to hone my awesome guitar skills."

Twilight Sparkle: "It's only temporary and we don't have to win the Battle of the Bands. We just have to perform during the first round of the competition."

Rainbow Dash: "Let's get to learning that musical counter-spell."

Twilight Sparkle: "Well that's just it. I don't know any." She said which made everyone look worried. "But I'm sure I could figure out how to write one."

Spike: "Totally! Twilight can write a spell like it's nobody's business. That's pretty much how she got to become a princess in Equestria."

Twilight Sparkle: "Technically, I helped finish the spell and there was a little more to it than that Spike."

Spike: "Yeah whatever." He waved this paw nonchalantly.

Kevin: "So Twilight, since you have no place here in this world, I take it you want to ask me and see if you and Spike can stay at my place again." He asked her.

Rainbooms: "What?"

Twilight Sparkle: "Oh yeah, when I first came to this world and Kevin was helping me out, he and his parents let me stay at his place until I got my crown back and went back to Equestria." She said and the girls went up to her.

Rarity: "What was his house like?"

Fluttershy: "How were his parents?"

Pinkie Pie: "Oh, oh, did you sleep in the same bed as Kevin?" She asked which made him and Twilight blush while the other girls look at Pinkie. "What? I was just asking."

Kevin: "For the record, no Pinkie. Twilight slept in the guest bedroom at my house."

Pinkie Pie: "Oh I got idea. How about we have a slumber party at my house!" She suggested which the girls agreed to.

Kevin: "Well you girls enjoy your slumber party, I'm going home." He said and was about walk off to his car when he was stopped by Pinkie.

Pinkie Pie: "Where do you think your going?"

Kevin: "Home."

Pinkie Pie: "Nope, your coming to the slumber party." She said which his eyes widen.

Kevin: "You want me to come to the slumber party? Are you sure? I don't want to be a bother." He said.

Rarity: "Darling, you won't be a bother."

Twilight Sparkle: "And Kevin, you have powers so I might need your help with the counter-spell and you can show us your powers."

Kevin: "Oh alright I'll come to the slumber party." He said with a smile which made the girls smile. "I'll just go home and get my stuff then I'll come over to the slumber party." He said and walked off.

As he went to his car, he had a slight blush on his face.

Kevin: 'I'm going to a slumber party. With eight girls...eight attractive and beautiful girls...' He thought as he imagination made him wonder what PJs the girls were going to wear.

Back with the girls, they were getting ready to leave.

Rainbow Dash: "So Twilight...how was it kissing Kevin?" She asked with a smirk which made Twilight blush and the other girls have widen eyes while Spike snickers.

Twilight Sparkle: "I...I...I...I"

Rarity: "Really Rainbow Dash? Did you have to ask that question?"

Rainbow Dash: "Hey come on! You gotta admit that Kevin is attractive and he is like every girl's dream boyfriend." She said.

Rarity: "Well...when you put it that way."

Rainbow Dash: "So spill it Twilight, how was it kissing Kevin?" She asked again which made Twilight flustered.

Twilight Sparkle: "It was an accident and nothing more!" She said. "Although it was kind of nice." She muttered to herself with a small smile.

Rainbow Dash: "What was that?"

Twilight Sparkle: "Nothing!" She quickly said.
