Ch19: Aldera's Reckoning

(3rd POV - Next Day - Midoriya Family Apartment)

Erika sighed as she was partially sunning some of her vines in the window, some just losely hanging behind her.

She had nothing to do with at the moment, Inko and Toshinori were talking about something and Izuku was at Aldera, it was his final day there after all. Briefly growling at that before shaking her head.

Didn't matter, there would be plenty of time together over the next few days before U.A. started.

Last night was a good night after the news of their admission, especially the fish katsudon. Honestly it was kind of amusing seeing Izuku dig into it almost as much as she did.

But right now it was too quiet for her liking and she had more than had her fill of reading and catching up to this era this morning.

Erika was trying to figure out what to do at least until she noticed the lights in the room flickering. Pausing briefly as the vines in the window retracted or broke into spores before she turned to look behind her.

Seeing the vines she had let hanging loosely, gently swaying when the flickering restarted again. Noticing one of them close to an outlet, pulling the other vines back while she unplugged a lamp.

The light continued to flicker as the vine approached the outlet before Erika recoiled it back as she saw the outlet start to spark upon contact.

Studying it as the jaw at the end snapped, tiny sparks bristling before fading. Only noticing a small patch of the vine had been discolored and changed which was quickly starting to fade away.

"Curious." Erika noted before ripping a piece of the vine before it fully healed, breaking it into spores as she inspected the piece of skin. "It's like bark, yet pliable."

True to her observations it had turned a more brackish color and held a texture similar to bark, yet was more flexible and stretchable. Looking at it seemed like a the skin was made of tiny scale like patterns.

Pressing it between her fingers before she had to apply a little pressure for it snap in two, a small jolt of electricity fizzed from the pieces before fading.

"So the pieces retain minute amounts of electricity." Erika noted, extending two vines from her back. One to get something to contain the skin and the other to reach back towards the outlet.

Intending only for a brief moment of contact, a spark generated as the vine got near and the lights started to flicker. Continuing for a few moments before pressing the vine against it and felt electric surging through it.

But it didn't feel like it was harming her, more like sasiating her own hunger if only a little bit. And the desire for more...

Erika bit down hard enough she felt several teeth grind and snap as she let out a growl, retracting both vines and slipping the pieces of skin into a paper towl and plastic bag.

"Stupid instincts." Erika growled out in annoyance, her fangs threatening to poke out of her cheeks before retracting as her teeth righted themselves back into place.

Granted this was a new one, something that she would need to do some research at Monarch's outpost. Needing to figure out just how much this affected her.

Slipping the back into her pocket as both Inko and Toshinori with a phone to his ear looked around the apartment, him exiting the front door.

"Do you know what is going on Erika?" Inko asked, picking her phone as she looked at the ceiling light, flickering for a bit before returning to normal.

"I don't know." Erika said with a shrug, a vine plugging the lamp back in.

"Seems like something was across the entire complex, perhaps voltage fluctuation. Some of your neighbors were checking out their porch lights Inko." Toshinori said as he walked back into the apartment.

"Perhaps something is wrong with breaker again." Inko said while shaking her head while Erika let out a small growl in his throat, looking away from the two.

Definitely need to do more in-depth a research about this soon.

"Yes we'll be there soon." Toshinori said back to the phone, ending the conversation before facing Inko. "When do you think the Bakugous will arrive at Aldera?"

Erika bristled at that, tilting her head as Inko sighed.

"If we leave now Mitsuki should be Aldera by the time we arrive, she already called Masaru." She said, getting Toshinori to nod.

"What is going on now?" Erika growled out irritably, thinking about that annoyance from nearly two weeks back.

The only regret since meeting him was not snapping him like a twig since hearing everything from Izuku and Inko. And she had heard from Inko this morning that he had gotten into U.A. as well. Plenty of chances to at least knock his teeth in if he tried anything with Izuku there.

And if he had done something to him today...

"Izuku isn't in any trouble...hopefully." Inko said with a sigh, calming Erika down somewhat. "No it's something related to their school Naomasa and Nezu discovered last night."

"We'll explain on the way, now let's go before they arrive at Aldera first." Toshinori said.

Erika got up with a nod as Inko began to walk towards the door as well, curious on what was going on. And relieved for once trouble didn't seem to following Izuku for once.

(Izuku POV - Aldera Junior High - 6 minutes later)

N-Never have I wanted to get out of Aldera more than today then in this moment!

R-Really just anything to get Kacchan to stop glowering at me infront of our teacher!

It had been a mostly quiet day today at Aldera with most everyone giving me a wide berth which seemed usual as of today. The only really burst of activity was the exam results of the entire school and the news of me and Kacchan being enrolled in U.A..

He was happy to be placed in first again.

L-Less so about us both getting in, but it was mainly just a huff of annoyance. Going back to mainly ignoring me as he had for nearly two weeks now.

A-Also did get some congratulations for getting into U.A., although outside of Tsurugi I don't know how genuine everyone was exactly about it. But at least that was nice to hear it from him...

N-Not so much with our teacher.

"I can't believe that you both ranked in the top 2 in U.A.'s exam, and from our school as well." The teacher said, seeming uncaring about Kacchan's reaction as he turned to face me. "Especially you Midoriya, it's a miracle that you even made it in. But to place first as well."

W-Why did he wait for everyone else was gone to congratulate us or tell us our results!

K-Kacchan got a score of 77 points, placing him in second and 9 points behind me.

I could already tell that he was at least irritated about the news of his placement in the exams, but he didn't know who was before now. From the way he was glaring at me I know that it was not going to end well...

"Anyway you two be sure to remember the good times here and I wish you both the best in becoming heros." The teacher said with a smile, waving before the three of us exited the class room.

Him going on direction, and me and Kacchan another.

"Fucking boot licker, like we would care about this place! Right Deku?" Bakugou asked, still glaring at me and his voice tense. But at the least I could tell it wasn't directed at me this time.

"C-Correct." I said somewhat truthfully.

H-Honestly at this moment I would prefer to be anywhere but here.

Kacchan let out a grunt in agreement before he stopped and glared at me.

"Deku, we need to talk." He growled out as I gulped and just shakily nodded.

I-I think I know what this is about, and what would happen if I refused. At least this time he was being direct about his frustrations instead of trying to ambush me outside of school...

C-Can't say that I wasn't nervous, but at the least it won't go like Kacchan had intended last time.

I would make sure of that...and hopefully make sure things didn't get out of hand either.

"Just lead the way please Kacchan." I said, trying to keep my composure as he just nodded and walked down the hall.

(Side of Aldera Junior High School - 7 minutes later)

We reached a corner at the side of the building where I ducked down to avoid Kacchan trying to strike me with an uppercut!

"What the hell are you playing you damned nerd!" Bakugou said, trying to swing again which I hastily dodged. "You got in my way. I couldn't care less about your useless Quirk, or you enrolling at U.A.! How the hell did you beat me there!"

He kept try to strike me and I barely dodged them, each one getting closer.

N-No doubt that he was upset, but I could smell smoke or see his hands sparking.

Yet he kept trying to strike me and each time narrowly getting closer...but it also seemed like he was deliberately missing to test the range of my permeable shield?

K-Knowing Kacchan it could be both.

"There is no fucking way you that you could have cheated or bribed anyone, you're useless at lying Deku! And if U.A. wouldn't buy it as they're the best! So how the hell did you get ahead of me!" He growled out, before he blinked and frowned. "Rescue points..."

He tried to grasp at my shirt, recoiling from my barrier before trying again. Ignoring the shocks and slammed my back against the wall.

"You spent the entirety of the exam helping extras out, people that probably didn't make the cut. Maybe your efforts were wasted on them Deku, knowing that you couldn't make it through with a pathetic Quirk! Truly how many points did get on your own!" Bakugou growled out with a smirk.

A-Admittedly I was a bit nervous about this and I could smell smoke and sweat building up in his other hand.

B-But I was not going to back down.

"O-Only 19 points, and I was ready to go to the general course until I could find a chance to transfer to the hero course." I said, steadying my self as Kaachan looked at me surprised.

Guess he wasn't expecting me to stand up to him like this.

"Ever since the Slime Villain incident I've trained everyday like you do Kacchan, before I got my Quirk." I said with a determined expression, stretching my arm behind me. "All for even a small chance to pass the entrance exam. Even than and now I can barely control my Quirk."

Which was true, I can barely control One for All at a small percentage without straining myself.

Yet I did know at least how my permeable shield works for now at least.

I jabbed a finger below one of my spines, wincing as green sparks danced across my vision and Kacchan hurriedly let go of me. Clutching his twitching hand as he glared at me.

"Deku..." He snarled at me.

"I never intended to place first, only to qualify for the hero course Kacchan. I still have quite a bit before I can catch up to you, but like I said to you before. I intend to become a hero, and I don't care about the rankings or being the best one to help people." I said, shaking a little and tears welled up in my eyes.

We stood there for I don't know how long, before Kacchan scoffed and looked away. Placing his hands in his pockets.

L-Looks like he's calmed down...hopefully.

"You're dead set on this, you damned nerd." Bakugou said before kicking up a pebble and catching it in his hand. "Fine then, just stay out of my way!"

Balling it into a fist, letting out a muffled explosion before glaring at me. Getting me to flinch.

"Get in my way and I'll kill you, you hear!" Bakugou said as he dropped the smoking rubble from his hands.

"C-Crystal!" I said, getting him to grunt before he began to walk away.

Sighing in relief as I wiped away my tears and fixed my clothing.

Things could have gotten a whole lot worst, yet I was glad it didn't.

Considering that we are both going to U.A. next week, there was a 50-50 chance we could be in the same class. If that happened it would be for the best to maintain our distance like we have been...

T-There was only a little more time until we had to leave Aldera for good, might as well embrace it.

Shaking my head, I took about three steps and Kacchan was turning the corner before the sounds of police sirens blared in the distance!

Running towards Kacchan as the sounds got louder before we both peered over the corner to see the lights flashing over the schools fence, alongside the muttering of people over the fence.

"Any ideas on what is going on Deku?" Bakugou said irritably.

"N-No, why ask me?" I said, flinching from his glare.

"You're the one who kept getting attacked by the damned crook!" He shouted before starting to walk away. "I swear if he is idiotic enough to try a fourth time, I'm finishing it!"

"Only in that we agree on!"

Oh no...

My spines bristled as I channeled One for All at 1%, sprinting infront of Kacchan and catching a vine snapping at him as Erika formed with a snarl on her face.

"I said the next time you go after him I won't hold back!" She snapped as he scoffed, removing his hands from his pockets.

"Like you would do anything to me you Audrey knockoff!" Bakugou said, getting her to roar at him.

"Don't call me that you yappy little dog!" Erika said, getting Kacchan to bristle as small explosions were crackling in his palms.

T-This was not good!

"E-Erika please, nothing happened this time and I mean it. Everything has been settled for now." I said, getting her to pause before facing Kacchan as I turned off One for All. "K-Kacchan-"

"Don't even start Deku, the bitch is standing down." He snarled out as Erika's vine broke into spores in my hand. Bakugou just placed his hands in his pockets while glaring at her. "Don't need to deal with this shit so close to U.A., first chance I get there you are cinders you Audrey reject!"

"Like you even could!" Erika roared out before sighing and shaking her head while looking at me. "At least you don't smell like burnt hair or smoke this time."

"Y-Yes, but please tell me that you didn't break out of the apartment Erika." I said worriedly.

N-Not that I was glad to see her, but I can't imagine how worried mom would be if she slipped out without her noticing. Though I think she would have guessed where Erika would have gone...

"Actually about a block away, was in the car with her and Toshinori before escaping through the window..." Erika said, looking away while Kacchan stiffened at here words. "And I was starting to nod off anyway..." She admitted the last part quietly.

"I-I see, then do you know what is going on?" I asked her.

"Reason why I came to find you both, Midoriya and Bakugou." My eyes widened in surprise as I turned to see Agent Kazama walking towards us from the direction of the gate. Seeing him wearing a dark colored suit with a golden tie.

"Who are you?" Bakugou said irritably.

"Katsunori Kazama, chief of security at U.A. and I am here with Principal Nezu." Kazama said, getting Kacchan to freeze up on hearing his words. "He came here for a short interview with you both considering the state of the school and other reasons. Would have called over the loudspeakers, but it seems like the vice principal deliberately sabotaged them."

"So they finally arrested him." Erika growled out as she dropped a vine across my shoulders while I stiffened in shock.

Looking between her and Kazama with wide eyes.

I-I'm sorry, what?

(Aldera School Gates - 2 minutes later)

I-It was pure chaos just outside Aldera's gates.

I could see several police cars, a few news vans, and plenty of cars all along the street. There was a large mixed crowd just outside the entrance and I can already parents brining their children out of the school.

We followed Agent Kazama, the crowd keeping their distance or Erika's and Kacchan's glaring kept them and some of our classmates back...when they weren't directed at each other.

I still hadn't been told about what was going on with the vice principal and why he was getting arrested, but I can only assume that whatever was going on mom and Kacchan's parents probably knew.

Granted I saw them near the entrance of the school, Mom coming up to us and hugged me and Erika.

"So glad to see you are alright, and Erika how many times have I told you to not do that. Especially in a moving car." Mom said, getting Erika to grow in her throat and look ashamed, turning her head to look away as mom let us go. "Erika..."

"I won't, at least from a car..." Erika said, getting mom to sigh while Auntie Mitsuki chuckled.

"Now you know how I feel with my brat Inko, at least she is more well behaved than mine!" Mitsuki said with a chuckle before facing me. "As I said, you find quite a catch Izuku."

"A-Auntie Mitsuki..." I protested as mine and Erika's face redden while Uncle Masaru sighed and shook his head.

"Hag..." Bakugou said, glowering before turning to his father. "Clown..."

"Are you trying to start something brat!" Mitsuki said, with the two nearly getting too close to each other's face.

O-Oh, no.

"W-Wait can someone please tell us what is going on?" I said as I got between them, getting them both to stop. Internally sighing as that got their attention before they could into a fight...again. "A-All we know is the vice principal was arrested, and that the principal of U.A. is here?" I asked, generally wanting to know what was going on. "A-And hello Uncle Masaru." Giving him a shaky wave, which he returned with a smile.

"Hello Izuku, as for why we are here we got a call from the principal of U.A. for a brief meeting considering Katsuki and this school." Masaru said.

Kacchan immediately bristled and stiffened at this news, while I was just trying to process that I could understand Uncle Masaru clearly and loudly.

T-That's a first, he's usually a more quiet spoken tone.

"Inko said the same about you and Erika, knew this place was terrible for feeding our brats ego even more but found out just how much of a shit show behind closed doors." Mitsuki said with a frown before looking around. "Where is Yagi anyway, wasn't he looking around for Erika too?"

"Toshinori went looking for a place to park as the road is full, told him she is with me." Inko said, getting Mitsuki to nod and for myself to sigh in relief.

So All Might was somewhere nearby then, although if he appeared the crowd building at Aldera's gats will only be in an uproar.

"Heard more details from Detective Tsukauchi through him, but the school had been under investigation from both U.A. and Ministry of Education. Noticing some desparaencies in the records of students lately and going back years. Although I never expect how bad things were from the vice principal." Mom said with a frown, glaring at the doors and I noticed Kacchan took a step back from her.

"I already informed them and Takegumi already knows." Agent Kazama said, looking over at the crowd with some starting to notice before sighing. "They are going to find out in a minute especially the news, but your vice principal was found last night to be a member of the MLA. Having embezzling funds to support a cell located just outside of Musutafu, the leader of which gave him up for a lighter sentence and admitted he used to be a TA at Kijimi Junior Hight before the Kijimi Incident."

"S-So Nezu's arresting him before our interviews." I surmised with a gulp as Erika let out a growl a fangs began to sprout from her cheeks.

"This school is full of crooks." Bakugou growled as I tried to calm down Erika.

T-To think that the vice principal was involved in that!

I-I mean he didn't seem to care about me all that much, more so than the other teachers yet to think of that!

The Kimiji Incident over a decade ago was the most well known incident concerning the MLA for years, at least to the public.

A cell had been trying to covert Kimiji Junior High school in the countryside of the Iwate Prefecture. Out of the way from any major sources and what took them o long to be discovered after operating for years.

I believe it was best described as 'a few steps away from Lord of the Flies' in an article before they were found out.

An applicant to U.A. caused a big commotion in their Entrance Exam and brought Nezu's attention down on them like a monsoon.

What resulted was a mass arrest and retaliation that resulted in 13 students and 3 teachers hospitalized as the staff turned on each other at the sight of the first police car pulling up. Nothing short of a disaster.

The school was abandoned for years and the principal and most of the staff were arrested, half of them sent to Tartarus. The rest of the staff were promptly fired and years later there were still cases of teachers caught years later under false identities...like I can guess our vice principal was.

Most of the students at the time of the incident were able to live normal lives and in some cases became heros, others were not so fortunate...

It was the biggest educational scandals in Japan in decades, forcing a major revision of the hiring practices and some regulations in the management of public schools...although there have been instances that slipped through the cracks...I wonder if Aldera is involved...

W-Was the vice principal truly just one of those from Kijimi just hiding out to sabe his reputation and just rising in a career that would have been unsalvageable or trying to restart it here at Aldera?

R-Really hoping that it was the former...

"He better be." Erika growled out, a vine draped across my shoulders in a comforting manner. "And yes you were muttering out loud again."

D-Dang it...

"At least you found someone who can understand you brat." Mitsuki said, before frowning as the door to the school opened. "We'll get some answers soon enough."

The crowd around the gates began to huddle around the door, and clearing a path out the gates as an officer exited the door, a trio of cruisers pulling up outside the gate.

I-It was getting a bit clustered with some many people and reporters gathering around to see what was going on, Erika's vine wrapping around my shoulders doing little to ease my worries.

Mom and the Bakugou's collectively glared at the door as the vice principal was starting to be lead out in handcuffs.

T-The smell of smoke started to get stronger around us...but not from Kacchan as it wasn't mixed with sweat. A-Although it looked like he was trying not to use his Quirk from the way his hands were twitching.

B-Before I could try to find the source of the scent, the sound of the growing crowd grew louder as Detective Tsukauchi emerged followed by another officer with an orange cat head. Both the vice principal and someone else I didn't recognize were being lead out in handcuffs.

He looked worse for wear with two large bruises on his face and...was that a staple in his leg? He was walking with a limp.

E-Either way it looked like he had seen better days, more than likely he tried to resist.

As he was lead away he kept glaring at everyone and everything before turning his attention to Kacchan and myself.

"You were supposed to be the pride of this school!" The vice principal spat out venomously before glaring at me, getting me to recoil from it. "Instead you and that abomination lead that rat back here! How the hell you got into U.A. and a Quirk is beyond me! Either one should have been impossible-"

"Enough!"

I-I let out sigh of relief as the vice principal stilled as All Might landed behind him, looking down on him with a frown.

I-If he didn't appear, I'm not sure if me and Agent Kazuma can stop Erika was attacking him! H-Her arms had split into multiple vines each frothing with sap that I could barely hold back!

S-Still to think that our vice principal truly thought like that about me...no he was just like Shiten...

J-Just lashing out and blaming everyone else for his problems, he did yell at Kacchan too. Both of them brought this on themselves for their own actions...

"Save it Deku, him and the damned crook are not worth the effort." Bakugou growled out quietly, getting Erika to still and for me to stare at him in shock.

I-I was muttering out loud again, but Kacchan actually understood me?!

Q-Quickly shaking my head and drew closer to Erika as the crowds around us drew in All Might and the vice principal while the other person in handcuffs were escorted past them.

"I heard of what was happening and I was nearby, figured that I would drop by to make sure things were going smoothly. And all I find is a man lashing out his problems on a pair of students." All Might said with a frown, getting the vice principal to gulp.

"I-I-" He tried to say but his words fell silent in his throat as he looked around.

"You embezzled funding and had student records tampered with just to increase both your and the school's image. Trying to also quietly sabotage the futures of students that didn't align with your views. You're a disgrace to the name of an educator! When it's your job to guide students and help mentor a brighter future. Instead of trying to tear them down like you just did with a late bloomer out of nothing but spite and your frustration!" All Might said.

The vice principal tried to back up, but Detective Tsukauchi gripped his shoulders to prevent him from moving away. He looked around before glaring at me.

"He's a Quirkless, they don't just suddenly gain a Mutation type Quirk!" He spat out, before withering under All Might's, Erika's, Mom's, and Kacchan's parents glare.

O-Once again holding back Erika's vines back as they shifted into spear like tips!

But she stopped and began to retract them as the vice principal grunted and grabbed his side. Letting out a series of growls from her throat.

J-Juding by mom's frown and Auntie Mitsuki giving her a knowing look and grin, I think I have several ideas on what she just did...better not to think about it...

"There have been records for some heros where they were thought Quirkless and devolved them later in life like there preteens, like Midnight and the 14th ranked hero Shishio admitted a few months ago his features didn't start to grow in until junior high. So his Quirk more than likely didn't develop until his body was ready." Someone said from nearby us, getting the vice principal to pale.

I turned to look to see a woman with blue skin, long lilac hair, and black sclera and green eyes wearing a navy blue dress and a mic in one hand.

Just one of the many reporters that had gathered for this, but she did look familiar. But I couldn't quite figured it out at the moment...

"Quite right, and as a late bloomer myself my body would have torn itself apart until it developed." All Might confessed, shocking me and getting the crowd to grow crazy.

H-He was admitting to that, at least when received One for All!

M-Mom seemed just as surprised as I was while Kacchan looked at him in shock.

"Please quiet down and I'll share some more details in a minute." All Might said with a smile to the crowd, settling some of the clamor among them before facing the vice principal. "I've met that young man twice and both times even when he thought that he was Quirkless showed he was just as capable of being a hero without one. The second time was from one of your students turned villain, Shiten before his first arrest. And in his pride to get back at him he has been arrested twice and currently on the run at the age of 15. Now tell me, did you also consider him a pride of the school like the other young man."

...I-I know All Might said something similar before when I first tested One for All, yet even now I was still happy to hear him say that...

Erika let out a small growl before a vine perched against my shoulder and began to muzzle against my side.

Looking at the vice principal, for the first time he actually seemed guilty while shaking his head.

"Both him and Bakugou were supposed to be the pride of the Aldera, the best of the best in years. Even I was unaware of how bad he was minus the bullying of others. But his own pride made him more unstable then I could have imagined even if his heart was in the right place." He said while shaking his head, getting Detective Tsukauchi to look at him apprehensively.

"He's telling the truth, all of it." Tsukauchi said, giving the vice principal a disgusted look. "Were you hoping that he would succeed in hurting Midoriya during the incidents?"

He looked down at the detective's words as the crowd looked at him in disgust.

S-So the entire time he was hoping that Shiten would succeed, why-

"As I said, not worth the effort Deku." Bakugou said, breaking me from my thoughts before turning to the vice principal. "Fuck being the pride of your delusion of a shit show! You and that damned crook are nothing more than villains wishing to turn this place into a breeding ground for more! Guess what, screw your ambitions!" He said before pointing to me. "He'll become a hero inspite of them while I become the best hero there is!"

K-Kacchan...I think he at least meant part of it.

Becoming a hero despite anyone's efforts, including his own attempts...

P-Probably the nicest thing he said about me in years.

"Deku!""D-Don't get any ideas, that's what you were going to say Kacchan?" I said as he turned to glare at me, already figuring what he was going to say before he let out an annoyed tisk.

"You're damned right." He said, placing his hands in his pocket before going back to glaring at the vice principal.

"Damned brat." Mitsuki sighed out while shaking her head while Erika let out a grunt from her throat.

I think she agreed with her.

The vice principal looked surprised at his outburst while All Might looked surprised before shaking his head.

"While more crass than I would have put it, the young man is right." All Might said before glaring at the vice principal. "Now I'd advise you keep your mouth shut now. Your words were perhaps just one of several causes that poisoned one of your student's mind. I'm not sure how many more you have affected in these years since Kimiji, but please for the sake of any children listening not to utter another word. Unless it is not to lash out or put down others, if those are truly the only words you are capable of speaking right now."

The vice principal looked spiteful at All Might, before slumping and turning away. Allowing Detective Tsukauchi and the cat headed officer to lead him away as the crowd parted so they could walk through.

All Might just shook his head as he was lead away.

"If that was truly how he feels..." He said, shaking his head before turning to face us. "Nice to see you both again young men!" All Might said with a grin before pointing at Kacchan. "How have you been since the Slime Villain incident?"

"Fine!" Bakugou said before looking away.

"I see." All Might said while shaking his heads. "Heard you both aim to become heros, U.A. I take it?"

"Yes/Y-Yes and Erika too." Me and Bakugou said at the same time.

"So the three of you, that is impressive. Anyway be sure to enjoy your days there, sometimes they can be grueling and sometimes the happiest days of your life await you there and everything inbetween. Then again I can the same thing for anyone perusing a dream or goal they love, but remember one thing. If life gets tough, sometimes it just requires a positive push. Something that can be as some close saying 'you can do it'. That will help inspire you to go further beyond!" All Might said with a grin.

"Plus Ultra." I said with a smile, before my face flushed as I realized I said that out loud alone.

Mom and Erika just smiled at me, Auntie Mitsuki and Uncle Masaru looked amused, while Kacchan let out a grunt at my embarrassment.

C-Couldn't help myself...

"Now that's the spirit young man!" All Might said with a grin before Agent Kazuma coughed to get our attention.

"Not that I doubt both Midoriya and Bakugou appreciate this, but they still have meetings with Nezu and he informed me he's almost done tearing down whatever pride the staff of Aldera had left." Kazama said, getting All Might to nod.

"Of course." All Might said before facing us. "Getting passed the exams and into U.A. was only have the battle, I wish you both luck." He said before tilting his head. "You're going to need it."

W-Was it just me or was that last part directed at Kacchan?

B-By the surprise of Kacchan's face, probably not.

All Might walked away and I let out a yelp as Erika's vines wrapped around me and mom before dragging us into Aldera before part of the crowd tried to turn towards us.

Her vines slamming the door shut as the Bakugous followed us into the school, before lowering the both of us down.

"E-Erika please a little warning next time." Mom said as she tried to regain her barrings.

"Sorry." Erika said as her vines retracted into her arms.

"Your new charge keeps surprising me every time I see her." Mitsuki said while shaking her head. "Still to think we'd meet All Might at that shit show outside."

"He did say that he was patrolling nearby." Mom said.

"Add in there are two conspirators on the run, all three members of the school's IT staff were with the vice principal on the record tampering and one with the embezzling. Two of them managed to escape in the communication black out before the police arrived. Last I heard one of them was in the middle of a chase." Kazama said while shaking his head.

"E-Everything seems like to be quite the mess." I said, thinking about just how much was going on behind the doors here at Aldera now.

Never had I been more glad that today was the final day.

"You alright Izuku?" Erika asked, getting me to sigh.

"A-A little shaken and more than a little surprised by the vice principal's reaction to me, but I'm alright. He and most of the staff seemed indifferent to us outside of completing their jobs. But as Kacchan said, it's best not to think about it anymore." I said while shaking my head.

It was just like with Shiten instead out of pride just out of general hatred against those he perceived to lack Quirks or lesser ones.

I can't wrap my head on why someone could believe it sometimes, but All Might's words from he stopped Shiten were true.

Shiten wouldn't be the last villain with such intentions. Both of them probably will not be the last either, something I guess I will have to learn to deal with in the future.

But I will not let their words get to me, they were just blaming others for their own faults. Especially when they were caught.

"They shouldn't have behaved like that to you or any of the other student Izuku, but there is no way they can hide that now." Mom said with a frown.

"If you need help with anything Inko, me and Mitsuki will be more than willing to help." Masaru said, getting mom to shake her head.

"Thank you but I'll take your offer into consideration. I think the principal of U.A. or Toshinori might have some recommendations." Mom said while shaking her head.

"Nezu already has a list of lawyers prepared, Aldera wasn't the first school to try and pull any stunts this week but he described it as the worst one he encounter in the past few years." Kazama said.

"Good, might just have to check it out myself. We should have never sent our kids to this school, but too damned late for that now." Mitsuki said, shaking her head while Uncle Masaru nodded in agreement. "Still here's hoping U.A. can knock down my son's ego a few stories."

"Go to hell!" Bakugou shouted at her.

"And teach him some fucking humility too!" Mitsuki shouted back while Erika let out a series of growls in her throat, seeming amused at this.

Auntie Mitsuki pinched her nose before turning to me.

"Still he is right on one thing, ignore that piece of shit's words. Anyone who wishes for a kid to permanently harm another one for their beliefs are scum. Still think that you are too kind for your own good sometimes, yet it will make you a good hero. Just never change brat." She said with a smile.

"I-I will." I said.

"If that is now out of the way, best to head to the main office. Principal Nezu should be ready soon and everyone can leave." Agent Kazuma said before beginning to walk down the halls.

Kacchan just huffed and followed after him, placing his hands in his pockets soon followed by the rest of us.

"Hopefully the crowds will at least start to thin out by then." Masaru said, getting me to nod in agreement before feeling Erika's vine was removed from me.

Looking at the corner of my eye as she hung back with mom and Auntie Mitsuki.

"So what did you do to him?" I heard Erika ask mom as Auntie Mitsuki chuckled.

"The old kidney stone trick, haven't seen that one since college." She said, getting mom to look away.

"At least it was a tiny one. It can be chalked up to the stress when it passes. Hadn't needed to use it since then, but he more than deserved it." Mom admitted.

"Agreed, and worst." Erika growled out as mom looked at her flatly.

"Your idea of payback would have him being mauled/impaled on in front of a crowd if Izuku and you were willing holding yourself back." Mom said, getting Erika's face to flush. "I know that you've been working on lashing out with your instincts, but there are other ways."

"I know, my instincts were practically roaring to strike him." Erika growled out.

"And probably a good chunk of Honshū by the end of the day. Would have joined you too on that regard." Mitsuki said while shaking her head and chuckling. "Although if this was years ago Inko would have done much worse. Hell she was probably more of a hellion than me in junior high."

"Mitsuki, please don't." Mom said, looking embarrassed while Erika looked curious with a smile.

"Really, what did she do?" Erika asked, getting Auntie Mitsuki to grin.

...P-Probably best to tune that out...they can be pretty scary sometimes..

Still at least Erika seems to be getting along with Auntie Mitsuki.

And despite how thing turned out just outside Aldera's doors...I was glad that All Might was there.

Hopefully he wouldn't take too long if he wasn't busy out there right now...

(3rd POV - Principal Office -Same Time)

"Quite the mess this turned out due to both your own blundering and the vice principal machinations. Things could have turned out much smoother if you had some proceeders in place like you were supposed too." Nezu said with a frown to the principal of Aldera, the man looked shaken and emotionally broken.

He could only flinch as they observed the news feed from just outside the school on a computer monitor.

What was supposed to be a simple investigation due to both sabotage and a lack of a proper and clearly defined evacuation plan incase of a villain on school grounds.

"Just make sure to address the students on this matter, and be sure give your contact in the Ministry of Education an answer. The Minister is expecting a response by tomorrow. I do hope that even you can figure out the precise option." Nezu said with a smirk, before jumping off the desk and walking off.

Pulling out his own to watch the feed as the clearly crushed principal slumped at his desk for the last time.

To Nezu's displeasure the principal had been offered the offer to simply resign, chose a demotion to become an adult education T.A. for a prison in Toyota, or be fired and charged for tampering with student records.

Aside from having some decisions for the records, that was a systemic issue in this school for years it seems from his own words. The worst thing the principal did was gross impotence managing Aldera and nepotism. Over 15% of the school's staff were friends from previous schools or recommended to him.

The only exception was his own brother in law that was on the IT staff and was last spotted on the other side of the city in a police chase.

Nezu was hoping the principal would chose option 2 personally, but he only got the first due to connections in the Ministry of Education. One who was also going to resign on admittance from the Minister himself.

Between Shiten's aunt and now Aldera Nezu was sure the entire staff in the Ministry based in this prefecture and the surrounding ones were in such a rude awakening.

Oh he was going to enjoy that mad scramble.

And watching the staff of Aldera squirm under his gaze as he grilled them for every minute detail in a bid to keep their jobs or careers!

Nezu openly cackled at the thought that most of them had a chance.

A quarter of them were going to get fired for negligence in their duties, especially towards their own students. His was going to enjoy seeing them rip each other to shreads to save themselves!

Well also seeing if there was moe than a few who actually deserved to stay in the field of education, looked there were much better odds than Kimiji.

Nezu shook his head at the memory, a decade later and he was still picking up the pieces from that mess. At with the latest incident the number of stragglers even remotely involved with Kimiji that were in the wind could be counted with one paw.

If they knew what was good for them, it would be best they kept lying low and stick to the right path if they were trying to atone for their crimes quietly.

But if not...well Nezu was certain he narrowed down the list of possible pseudonyms they were using quite a bit after today and might surprise them is he found any discrepancies.

The vice principal of Aldera had been a change of pace, the first one outright defiant at the face of getting caught in a few years.

Nezu chuckled as he remembered the attempt, it had been quite amusing how he thought his attempts to change his situation. The man had at least the foresight to sabotage anyway to communicate within the school and to his credit had provided the means for his compatriots to escape.

Though thinking he could take the principal hostage by hiding the true strength of his Quirk and armed with a box cutter infront of him and two police officers...how his resistance was laughable.

All it took to stop him was a pencil and a stapler after removing part of the staples inside.

He had sent Agent Kazama off not just because to handle any matters of their now new students or incase Erika did break off from All Might and Inko which she did. Because he served his purpose of intimidating the vice principal and throwing off his concentration.

Nezu sighed as his mirth died down and looked around the hallway as he stopped at the meeting rooms.

"Still this was quite an oversight, on my front doorstep as well." Nezu said as he shook his head.

The only reason the vice principal got as far as he did was from the principal's incompetence and seemingly an inherited issue in the handling of the school itself, judging by records dating back years.

All he did was latch on to them and considering all the evidence was close to usurping the principal to establish his private little fiefdom.

Nezu thought that it was adorable if he would have accomplished his dream for more than a week.

Yet to think of how many prospects of a bright future they had tried to squander for their students during these years for records or in the vice principal's case those against his beliefs through record tampering and negligence.

"Perhaps I could turn this into a prep school, if not just for U.A. but for other hero schools." Nezu said, musing to himself.

There were a few in Tokyo and Kyōto already, why not open up one right here. For those wishing to go to a hero school or just wanted a better attempt to further their future education.

It was a possibility, might have to contact some of the other schools after he was done grilling any additions possible crimes from Aldera's staff.

Would be a nice side project, maybe he'd also scheduled a talk after double checking the nearby school districts. Just to make sure there wasn't another Aldera in the making in the midst.

(Aldera's School Gates - Same Time)

"So the both of them have been accounted for and on the run?" All Might asked, getting Naomasa to nod.

"There both on the other side of Musutafu, now in car chases. Thankfully no has gotten hurt yet, but your and any other hero's assistance are more than welcome." He said.

Last he knew Kamui Woods, Death Arms, and Mt. Lady were making their way to the area of one of the chases. With All Might it would be about 10 minutes before all four criminals of Aldera could be safely in custody.

"Then I'm more than glad to help out!" All Might said with a grin.

He still had plenty of time on his limit and if her pushed it, he could slip into Aldera in just a few minutes.

"All Might wait, you did promise to share us some details!" A brown haired reporter called from the growing crowd around them.

"Yes like the fact you were a late bloomer, you've never spoken about that before!" Another one called out before the growing cacophony of questions grew louder from them.

He looked between them before sighing, he did say as much.

Before grinning as he supposed he could entertain them for a moment and he already what he had in mind.

Words he hoped would be more than enough.

Giving Naomasa a quick nod before walking towards the crowd.

"Very well I did promise as much, but I will only say this once and only once! So everyone better listen up and I will not be taking any questions afterwards today!" All Might shouted up, whipping the reporters into a frenzy as they drew in closer.

Some people amongst the crowds began to pull out their phones to record as All Might began to speak.

"As many of you may or may not know long before I became the Symbol of Peace I was just an ordinary student like those in Aldera, only at the time I thought I was Quirkless. I lost my own family in a villain attack before I could even remember them and I had no idea of their own Quirks. Admittedly it wasn't always easy aside from some bullies and my hometown was constantly under attack from villains. But I was happy with my lot in life, because even since then I always wanted to become a hero. Someone who would rise up to become a 'Symbol of Piece' to inspire others to bring about an era of harmony in the lawlessness and fear of the time." All Might said with a smile.

Which was true on some points. He never knew his own parent's Quirks until he attended U.A. and pulled up their records. And if anyone tried to narrow down his hometown they would be hard pressed to find it.

In that era the crime rate all over Japan was 80% higher with All for One controlling things from the shadows than it was under his time as the Number 1 hero.

"And that changed when you found out you were a late bloomer?" The blue skinned reporter asked, getting All Might to shake his head.

"No, actually long before. I was happy being a hero just helping out my community when they needed help or needed assistance on working from rebuilding from a villain attack. Never once without ever wishing to be thanked or acknowledged, I was just happy to help out. And when the need to defend others arose, I would use a lead pipe salvaged from wreckage but it was always the last resort. Only in a situation where words would fail. That's where I met my mentor, having to use the pipe to fend off a group of thugs harassing a neighbor. I couldn't standby and watch while they were attacked. I allowed him to escape while the thugs turned their attention to me. It was then a hero showed up and dealt with them in a moment." All Might said, smiling fondly of him first meeting Nana.

It had truly been a shock to him see someone just swoop in and save him from villains, usually it was the other way around yet it was the first time he had fought someone off without being injured in the process. Especially when she defeated them effortlessly.

"After that I asked them to be my master, to teach me to become a hero. They asked me why I wanted to become a hero. I told them why I wanted to become the Symbol of Peace, for the people whose hearts were suffocating from the constant fear of losing everything or death even if their homes and lives could be rebuilt. I would step up to bring both faith and hope for a better tomorrow for them! If not someone Quirkless and someone without a role, than who else." All Might said while shaking his head with a frown. "I was a bit of a fool back then and they smacked me on the back of the head."

Even 42 years later he can still feel a phantom pain while thinking about it.

He was truly a fool back then, he at least never said the same thing to Izuku or Melissa. There were truly other ways to become heros aside the route he took.

Yet he was proud with the paths they both chose to help others...but he still wished to knock some sense into his past self for what he had said to Izuku even if the boy had forgiven him.

"They admonished me for thinking that, saying that even without a Quirk I can become a hero. My master decided to train me because we both had a similar philosophy, to not only save people's lives but their spirits as well. Giving them a smile to reassure them, everything will be okay!" All Might said, getting some of the crowd to smile with him. "It was only after a training for a few years did I discover my Quirk and my body developed to contain its power. My master described its power as one I had to work harder than most inorder to essentially win it. If I never met them, I would probably still believe I was Quirkless today. Without my master's teaching and training I would have never become the Symbol of Peace like I am today, but no matter what I will always be a hero!"

The crowd and reporters were whipped into a frenzy as All Might frowned and took in a deep breath.

Time to drive it home!

"My main point of it all is that in the long run, the greatness of one's Quirk or if someone is Quirkless or not doesn't matter!" He shouted shocking the crowd. "What matters is the your nature and your choices! Everyone has the potential for greatness, either great kindness or great cruelty! No matter how old or how powerful I am I have still kept that lead pipe to remind myself that at my core, I'm still that teen who even without a Quirk wanted to help out those around him! Those who put down and deride those Quirkless, Quirks that are supposedly 'villianous', the way they look from their Quirk, or for being perceived to having a 'weaker' Quirk in general are nothing more than villains in my eyes!"

Seeing these among the crowd starting to talk each other, All Might smiled.

Possibly he knew that there were going to be detractors from his words, but he was confident that they would also inspire and hopefully bring hope to others. That at the least will help cut down on those ridiculous notions.

Even if only a little.

Notions like that have been around for at least the past century, it was going to take a lot of work to deride them completely but All Might was sure that today will be a large step towards that goal.

All Might took in a deep breath as he grinned and gave what he felt were good perfect closing words.

"What truly makes a hero is striving to help and protect others whether be it their lives or their hearts! You can be a hero even not on the field if you wished. Like building support gear to protect heros and assist their efforts to save others, providing ways to protect the safety of others like police, assisting the efforts to help others from behind the lines, just helping others in your neighborhood, or doing what you can to just help a single person in their time of need! All of that can make you a hero! You don't need to have a Quirk to be a hero, just reaching out to someone who needs help and reassuring them that everything will be okay instead of standing aside and doing nothing!" All Might declared, getting a mix of clamor and cheering from the crowd.

He grinned at that, seeing at the least he might have at least reached some others today.

Considering some of the reactions from the crowd, he had no doubt his words would have inspired others. All Might was just hoping...that his words could inspires others like Melissa and Izuku too to become heros too.

"I'll be taking questions at a latter time, until then!" All Might said, jumping away with a grin before the reporters could process his parting words. Naomasa shaking his head at him with a smile as landed on the roof of a nearby building before bounding off again.

All Might landed on a building around a black from Aldera before pulling his phone out, briefly checking for new on where the closest car chase was before jumping off in that direction with a smile on his face.

Hoping that this wouldn't take too long to miss the meeting.

(I-Island)

"Uncle Might." Melissa smiled at the broadcast, placing down the tools she had been working on while clutching her hands over her heart with tears in her eyes.

It was touching to hear those words from him, even years later after they first met. Her father was All Might's hero for making support gear to him that could withstand any condition to better protect others.

She was following after him in making support gear to help heros like All Might and hoping to one day become a hero to someone else.

Melissa as still surprised that her Uncle Might was once considered Quirkless before his fully developed. She had seen him dispel a hurricane with a single punch once!

But even back then he never stopped trying to become a hero...

"To try and reach out to someone instead of standing on the side and doing nothing..." Melissa said, looking back down at her support gear before shaking her head and resuming her work.

It was an idea, a crazy one but one she probably couldn't work on now. Especially since Melissa knew her father was going to be abuzz with the news like she was after his meeting.

Maybe when she could finally put it all together on paper it could work...

Maybe she could be a hero in two different ways too...

(???)

In a dimly lit room filled with pictures of All Might, a tall man in black and white suit and a black leather mask covering his face looked surprised at seeing the broadcast. Before smiling and clapping his hands.

"Amazing."

(Run down apartment complex - Edge of Fukuoka city limits)

Seeing the end of the broadcast, the figure inside turned off the TV and smiled.

It will take more than words to change society, but he was at least confident on the message he was trying to spread. Hopefully to inspire more true heros to step up to the plate. That seemed to be All Might's intention at least.

He heard a scream from outside, peaking outside his curtains to see two men chasing a woman down an alley.

He had chosen this location where Hawks rarely traveled and the fake hero he killed last night liked to travel here for 'business'.

Rummaging through his bag he pulled out some folding knives, a hooded rain jacked, and a black mask. While looking the it wasn't as sturdy as his first mask as Stendhal, but more or a replica and a memento from his time as a vigilante.

But she would prefer to see anyone other than Stain rescuing her and as for the two men chasing her...scum or fake heros they all bleed the same.

With his makeshift disguise secured, Stain opened the window and leapt down onto the ground and then after them.

Like All Might said, he wouldn't stand aside if he spotted someone in need while on the prowl. But not as a hero.

He would do so until society finally woke up and tried to finally correct itself, he would continue to cull the scum and pretenders until things started to change. He will continue his purge until a true hero could stop him.

(Tōga Household)

"Well that is one heck of a speech." Yujiro said while shaking his head. Before grunting as his niece tackled him on the coach and hugged him. "Himi..."

"You're my hero Uncle Yuji! You've been helping me so much and you're the only one besides Izuku who doesn't think my Quirk is monstrous!" Himiko said, clinging to her uncle. Smiling brightly when he hugged her back.

"Anyone who thinks that is an idiot, each Quirk has its own beauty in their differences to it like blood. There are some with problems and some that can be harmful to others, but all very much affect and are apart for each person for their entire lives. Thinking that someone is a villain just because of their Quirk is an idiot Himi, All Might pit it as much." Yujiro said with a smile, getting Himiko to grin.

"Like that vice principal for Izuku." Himiko said, getting a contemplative look.

"Don't think about it Himiko, let the justice system handle him. Seems like he pissed off a lot of people today. Let them sorted out." Yujiro said, getting Himiko to pout before sighing.

"Fine Uncle Yuji." She said, the hematologist letting out an internal sigh of relief.

Still it would be best to hide all the knifes in the house in his mother's room again. She hadn't attempted to break into her grandmother's room the first time after that caning.

"Still I got to see Izuku and Erika again, even from a screen." Himiko said with a frown before turning to face her uncle. "When can I see them again?"

"I'm still working on the disguise Himiko, and as much I know you want them ro see your true self." Yujiro said with a sigh. "I promise Himiko you'll get your chance soon enough."

Himiko looked at him for a moment before nodding.

"Okay Uncle." Himiko said before she turned back to watch TV, separating from Yujiro.

He just looked down and shook his head.

What was he going to do?

Yujiro wanted to help his niece and was still trying to figure out a disguise for her, but didn't know how to help beyond that. Especially with his transfer to the Aomori Prefecture base in a few weeks. Given the security of the facility, sneaking her even within 10 kilometers of there without being caught on some form of camera.

Trying to think of how to help his niece far into the future, he didn't have a single clue.

Since suppressing her Quirk and snapping she had raked up a small body count while on the run. And while he was sure his mother could harbor Himiko after his transfer, he knew that she would probably leave after sometime.

From there Yujiro was well aware of what would await her, a life on the run or hiding out from heros.

She was deathly scared of getting caught and ending up in prison. Unfortunately that was the fate that awaited Himiko.

If they could catch her at least.

Took Yujiro a week to locate her once he had made it back to Japan, and even finding her was a stroke of pure luck.

Now he hadn't seen her this happy in a long time and helping to manage the instincts of her Quirk. But soon that could all go away.

And there is her wanting to reveal herself to Izuku or Erika...well the former might not be much of a problem...maybe...

Kid didn't seem to have a hateful bone in his body and actually wished to help a Kaiju hellbent on making him suffer or kill him out of jealousy and spite.

For Erika he was less sure how she'd react to Himiko...then again she did have a body count post resurrection that was relatively light by Kaiju standards.

Then again how do you introduce your serial killer niece to someone without freaking out...

Yujiro truly didn't know how to help Himiko, but he wished he could at least think of something...

(Izuku POV - Aldera Junior High - 3 minutes later)

I-I certainly didn't expect All Might to mention Nana, albeit an abridged version without telling about One for All. Never knew about the pipe but it was almost like how he described meeting her when I first used One for All.

Really need to ask him about it later...

B-But the rest of his words...

Hopefully they can reach out to others like he did for me to become a hero too or to help them even a little bit. And that I could have become a hero without a Quirk too...

I shook my head my head to clear my thoughts while smiling.

It didn't matter now.

Quirkless, One for All, or the changes I'm still undergoing in my body I was still going to become a hero no matter what. And after everything I've done these past 10 months to enter U.A...I wouldn't change anything.

"Happy to hear that Izuku." Erika said, breaking me from my thoughts as she leaned against me and her vine nuzzled against my cheek as my face flushed. "Yes you did again and I could only hear the last part."

...D-Dang it...

S-Still at least it no one else could hear it, but mom looked amused.

K-Kacchan and his family had been called into the meeting room a minute ago by Nezu and Agent Kazuma. Leaving the three of us alone waiting, at least until All Might could return.

N-Not sure what these meetings are about except maybe for us being the top two scorers on the U.A. Entrance Exams, the situation of Aldera, or maybe both.

More than likely both.

Hopefully these meetings will not take that long...oh no...

"E-Erika can you please loosen your vines a little...getting hard to breath..." I said as her vines started to constrict around me.

G-Getting hard to breath again...

"No." Erika said, her vines only lessening up enough for me to breathe.

But I still couldn't move all that much.,,

"Knew I should have asked Aoki about the folding crowbar." Mom said, while shaking her head with a smile before trying to help me free from the vines. "But I do agree with you Izuku...minus not telling me about blood transfusions sooner or the Kaiju actively trying to kill you. Still I got to know my three heros."

Erika's loosened up her vines as she tilted her head and One for All briefly sparked around me as I quickly used the chance to get away from her grasp.

Before the both of us looked at mom, yet I believe that we already knew what she meant.

"Both of us and All Might." I said with a smile, getting her to nod.

"Toshinori helped pave the way to make your dreams a reality and...well I've been the happiest I've been with a long time." Mom said, looking embarrassed and her face flushed while Erika smiled. Before Mom turned to face us back with a smirk. "Erika you have made Izuku the happiest I have seen in a long time too and I know he feels the same way. That and I know that you both will have eachother's back no matter what."

...E-Erika let out a small growl in her throat as both of our faces flushed and we looked away.

S-She wasn't entirely inaccurate...being around her and helping Erika adjust back to Earth...these had definitely been the happiest month in my life alongside getting into U.A. and making new friends for as far back as I can remember....

B-But did mom have to put it like that...

"And Izuku...you never gave up on your dreams to become a hero no matter what. No matter what anyone said or back then when I couldn't do anything when you needed it the most..." Mom said, tears streaming from her eyes. I tried to speak to her but she held her hand up with a smile. "I know Izuku, I know. I should really stop thinking about it, but I'm proud that your dreams are coming true and that in my eyes Izuku you are already a hero."

"I-It's alright and thank you mom." I said with a smile as she started to tear up more.

Before finding herself wrapped up in vines, looking to see Erika smiling at her.

"Considering how Izuku is, you more than made it up for that moment. He's a hero as you said, you've raised him well." Erika said with a smile before shaking her head. Her fangs were starting to sprout from her cheeks. "You care for him so-"

"You don't need to say anything else Erika, and thank you." Mom said, hugging Erika as her tone started to become a growl. Which died out in her throat and her fangs retracted.

Erika let out a small warbling noise in her throat before her vines tightened and I smiled at them both.

Before mom's face started to turn purple.

"E-Erika can you please..." Mom tried to say before I heard an audible crack and I started to panic. "I-Izuku..."

"R-Right." I said, activating One for All and trying to help prying mom free from Erika.

T-This could take a bit, hopefully things are going alright with Kacchan...

(3rd POV - Meeting Room - 3 minutes later)

Katsuki Bakugou was not in a good mood, but there was little he could do about it.

Currently he sat with his parents while the principal of U.A. was going to look over his record, the true one and not the one those brown nosers in the school's IT department feed to U.A..

What was there was nothing new to him or his parents, having spilled everything to Aunt Inko.

His parents were giving him the same look he did when they found out, although his mother was less vocal and his father had the same quiet disappointment. Not that he cared much anymore especially with it being reread to them.

The only solace was it seemed either the staff of the shitty school seemed to ignore or didn't care about most of his what he did, recording about half of what he had already told Aunt Inko during his years here.

He did smile when they mentioned the incident where he put that damned thief in his place before he started going after Deku.

Right now his mind was focused on what had happened at the entrance of Aldera.

Katsuki was inwardly ecstatic that All Might had passed this dump and said about making it into U.A..

Granted he also meant Deku and the Audrey bitch, but the point still stood!

But he also knew this was going to happen, when he wished them luck. All Might had meant that part to him as if he knew that meeting with U.A.. Given that he was also shutting down his hero agency this week, Katsuki had a decent idea on what he could be doing.

Normally he would be grinning at the prospect, but another thought occupied his mind.

All Might was a late bloomer like Deku, something he was still trying to wrap his head around.

The strongest hero was once considered Quirkless...he didn't know quite what to expect, but it did line up with what he saw. Both now and when that damned Slime Villain had trapped him.

Both seemed to get along quite well and All Might did save Deku from that damned thief once. Probably All Might just have taken pity on him for having a similar origin the first time...yet things didn't quite line up.

Especially with Deku's shitty Quirk, seemed to function similar albeit nowhere near as strong and All Might lacked the spines as well. That and wasn't a walking bug zapper either.

Something just wasn't adding up, but he would focus on it later.

For it seemed Nezu was done talking about his records, Katsuki grumbling at the last bit they had on his record was 10 months ago. Of course they had that there...

"According to the logs this record was to be stored on a separate server with other such 'potential' students incase they got to any trouble. Expunging Bakugou's greatest offensives and leaving the minor infractions mainly tied to his temperament. Nothing to far from the ordinary, but they were well aware that his behavor could be an issue." Nezu said as Katsuki and Mitsuki were practically snarling.

"I didn't need those damned paper pushers to tamper with my record to get into U.A. and to hell with them for thinking I would fail!" He growled out. "Screw them and this breeding ground of crooks!"

"Got that right brat, they were doing this to other students for years. Who else knows what else they would try to pull!" Mitsuki growled out too.

Honestly she wasn't sure what else they could have done in this shit show of a school, but wouldn't be surprised.

"Indeed something that tipped us off about the same thing about two months ago with the first apprehension of the student Kiyoyuki Shiten. Doubly so with the two applicants from this school. As for the other applicant it was just downplaying his grades to a more average level. Sadly this practice has been going on in this school for years before the current staff. While uncommon to find in an educational institute for the past decade, record tempering still happens. An issue the Ministry of Education is cracking down on after today in this and the surrounding prefectures for recent incidents." Nezu said while shaking his head.

Really sometimes he despised things had to get to that point to make some real changes, especially when it comes a child's education.

"And it seems like that all four members of the staff here are finally in police custody as of a few moments ago." Kazama said, pulling out his phone to check the notification.

"Good, we can start the investigation of the rest of the staff." Nezu said with a cackle while 2/3rds of the Bakugou family grinned at the news.

The other third just shook his head at the news.

"It is good to hear at the least, but there was more to this considering our son and his record. It also affects his admission to U.A.." Masaru said, getting Nezu to nod and Katsuki to frown.

He had seen this coming, but was not looking forward to it at all!

"Quite, to be frank his record not the admitted we've both received and admitted into U.A. history. Some of them turn into our best and brightest and others didn't. Minus the last mark on his record he isn't the worst, up there in the top of this year. But they have already been dealt with before this meeting." Nezu said with a gleam in his eyes.

Well one of them had.

He made it very clear what would happen if he didn't shape up his behavior and the teachers would be keeping an eye on him...that and the very real risk of being maimed for trying to peep.

That boy's frightened expression still made him cackle a whole day later.

As for the worst...well her main crimes aren't on the record.

Erika's rampage was 270 some years ago and how do you explain destroying an entire whaling ship and crew as a Kaiju on a student's file.

But Nezu was able to tack on her escape attempts from a medical facility twice on the record.

"And that damned mark would have costed me U.A.." Katsuki growled out, the realization hitting him.

"An instant dismissal and barring from most hero schools, the highest ranked one that would have accepted you is Shiketsu High. With their rather impressive record of rehabilitation of students sent to juvenile detention centers, hey take in most students with such records." Nezu said while shaking his head.

"Consider yourself lucky that it was never reported officially or Midoriya has never considered following after your advice. You definitely would have gotten sometime in a juvenile detention center for that alone if it was, and that probably would have been the least of his worries." Kazama said, getting Katsuki to growl and shake his head.

"You should be thankful Inko is being civil with you at the least wince we learned about that stunt." Mitsuki said, getting Katsuki to grumble but nod.

"But he was still applied to U.A. by you." Masaru said, getting Nezu to smile.

"Quite, for one it was never reported officially and was illegally being held to tarnish his records for later purposes. Considering this it will be struck from his permanent record once Bakugou is of legal age but not ignored. But the main reason for his admittance was because I wish to be as through as possible with applications issues with schools like Aldera, there is always some school trying to mess with records to get their chosen applicants to U.A.. Given the time between the exam and when the applications I investigate the applicants to find if I can give them a chance." Nezu said with a smile as he faced Katsuki. "You might be rough around the edges and quite crass but as this morning showed you wish to become a hero Bakugou. Dismissing you from U.A. would only drive you to Shiketsu High or another school or run the risk of you becoming a vigilante."

"You're damn right!" Katsuki said, slamming his hands against the desk. "What is your catch."

Inwardly he was seething, his initial dreams for attending U.A. had been ground into dust. But he would play along to get in and have to rebuild them from the ground up.

"Straight to the point, first off mandatory appointments with our school's counselor Hound Dog on a weekly basis. You're not the only one with this stipulation and I encourage my students to see him with any issues. But you need to work on tempering your abrasiveness. And your ego, I assume that you have been heaped with praise and Aldera plus factoring in the lack of rescue points your drive to be the number 1 hero supersedes making sure the safety of others is secondary to stopping villains?" Nezu questioned.

The silence from Katsuki was telling.

"Knew they would knock it down a peg or too." Mitsuki said while shaking her head.

"Mitsuki, please." Masaru sighed out.

"Believe me kid, that attitude isn't going to fly when you enter the a true hero school." Kazama said.

"With Hound Dog has similar issues with your temperament due to his Quirk, I believe it will be quite beneficial. Now the second caveat is that any act of aggression constituting in a physical escalation will be met with punishment outside of scheduled events." Nezu said with a smirk.

"The school is more liberal than most and actively encourages friendly competition to better themselves but there is a limit to that. And if you have any views of bullying others for having a 'weaker Quirk' or vocalizing it think again. U.A. doesn't tolerate that kind of nonsense." Kazama said with a stern glance.

"Finally one more matter." Nezu said, before stopping himself as he saw Katsuki slam his hands on the desk.

"I already know what it is and I rather become a fucking villain than repeat it again!" He yelled out.

It was the one true thing he regretted doing to Deku and it was coming back to bite him in the ass big time. Part of him felt it was deserved while the other squashed it down. But he will admit it was going too far and he was an idiot for saying that!

One that for some reason Deku still risked his life to save him from the Slime Villain and still seemed to care despite what he said...

Katsuki shook his head to clear his thoughts on that.

Never again would he be making that damned mistake.

"A matter of which I'm glad to hear, I do believe you have what it takes to become a hero Bakugou and some of the issues seemed to be amplified by Aldera but it's a thin path ahead. There will be a hand to help when you need or ask. Yet if you push hard enough against the terms laid against you, it will be out of the hero course and into general." Nezu said, getting Katsuki to growl but nodded reluctantly. "Good, and if Hound Dog reports or significant process is observed they will be dropped at the end of the first year. Now than what to expect for the upcoming year in U.A.."

Both Bakugou parents glanced at Katsuki as he inwardly seethed, placing his hands in his pockets as he turned out what Nezu was saying.

He was lucky all things considered, but Katsuki swore to make the most of his situation.

This will be a trial he will overcome and end up all the stronger for it, something that he will use to become a better hero.

Katsuki smirked at the thought, that he might actually have a challenge ahead. The only ones here at Aldera was the damned crook and Deku as much as he grudgingly had to admit. All the better to show them their places in sanctioned events like sparring and see on what he would have to work on to improve.

For Deku...he wasn't sure what it was going to be about except perhaps how the shitty criminals on staff tried to screw his record over too or his girlfriend the Audrey looking bitch that Katsuki was certain was perhaps a recommendation student.

He had been scoring the audience during the general exams with no sign of her at all.

If there was a chance to get even with her, he'll take it.

But for Deku, Katsuki will keep his word. If Deku stayed the fuck out of his way, he'll do the same.

Yet if Deku aimed for the top or faced off against him...then he will show that pebble his place once again.

(Izuku POV - 9 Minutes later)

All Might cam back a few minutes ago, barley dodging the crowds of reporters outside even as they started to leave around the school.

It still took us a minute to pry mom out of Erika's vines...

Soon after the Bakugou's exited the meeting room, Kacchan frowning and refusing to look at anyone once he exited from there. What I could only briefly gather from Uncle Masaru talking with mom was Katsuki had gotten in some trouble from what he did in Aldera.

H-Hope going to U.A. will be able to help with Kacchan.

Agent Kazama called us in a minute later and Nezu admitted this meeting was more of a formality. I have already interacted with a majority of the teaching staff for a while now.

So the meeting will be short thankfully...I just wanted to leave here as soon as we could...

Didn't help matters was finding that according to Nezu my student records was tampered with before being officially accepted into U.A.. It wasn't much except lowering my grades to what he described as an average level and multiple notes of disrupting classes repeatedly.

T-The last one was not that unfounded with my muttering sometimes...

Only it was exaggerated to being a constant behavor and more incidents. I wasn't the only one whose records were tampered like this, but me and Kacchan were the only ones they tried to correct after the final exams.

Aside from that Agent Kazama had brought up another matter to discuss before we could leave.

"You mean no one at Monarch will be available at U.A. for the next week?" Mom asked, getting Kazama to shake his head.

"No me and Aoki will still be there, but unless there is an emergency the next appointment will be during the first week of classes. Dr. Tōga will be taking a few days off starting tomorrow and two days after that the Ashfords have been pulled by Director Serizawa to take care of a quick matter. It could only take a day or two." He said.

"Inko, Toshinori if there is an immediate change in Midoriya's or Erika's condition during this period please contact me." Nezu said, getting them to nod.

"Unless there is something we need to take care of." Erika said, looking away as she growled and a vine produced a plastic bag onto the table infront of us.

"Is something wrong Erika?" I asked as she opened up the bag and saw two small pieces of her vine wrapped in a paper towel.

Except they a brackish color.

"No, but a vine near an outlet reacted...and caused the entire building's lights to flicker." Erika admitted, her face flushed as Inko and All Might looked at her in surprise.

"I thought that it was the breaker, there is nothing wrong with admitting it." Mom said with a reassuring smile before shaking her head. "Minus the power bill, but we have more than enough to cover that cost."

"S-So the electroplaques are no longer dormant, they allowed you to absorb the electricity and caused this reaction." I said while touching a piece, creating a green spark off my finger and it. But I didn't feel the jolt.

There wasn't any more of a reaction and it felt like bark along with looking like part of a scale forming. Pressing against it I felt the piece bend before pulling my finger back.

"Worst part was my instincts, had to smash some of my teeth to stop myself from trying to devour the complex's power." Erika said while shaking her head before looking down at the bag. "That is the reaction the vine had siphoning the power, the discoloration quickly fading after I stopped."

"But there is still some electricity stored in there, and maybe a lot more in your cells." I said, getting her to nod.

Ghidorah could absorb electricity and I have seen footage of the Battle of Boston...it took absorbing practically the entire city's electrical grid before it got the strength to nearly kill Gojira...

Not sure how much electricity that she can absorb nor do we even know how much the traits could affect her even weeks later. Given that causing a voltage fluctuation from what she and mom described caused only a small reaction...

T-The idea of her successful absorbing and storing enough electricity to power a small town at the least seems plausible...

"U.A. does have the facilities for students whose Quirks allow them to absorb electricity for training purposes, but it might not be that effective for further testing without the supply running out." Nezu said while shaking his head. "A matter to discuss after some parameters are established. Tomorrow of course."

"Already was planning on it." Erika said as one of her vines was draped over my shoulders.

"I'll just take the sample to Dr. Ashford, I believe that we are done here." Kazama said, looking back at Nezu who just nodded with a smile.

"Yes, you all can go and the Bakugous. I have some maters to tie up here at Aldera before I can leave. Should be concluded within the hour." Nezu said with a gleam in his eye, before shaking his head. "Erika, Midoriya I hope you both enjoy your week off before the school year starts."

"W-We will." I said as we got up from our seats.

Nezu waved at us as we left the room.

Walking back into the office, Auntie Mitsuki walked up to mom and they began to talk with each other briefly as I began to look around. Sighing as I saw Uncle Masaru and Kacchan get up to leave the office. Him pushing past his father to exit the room first.

I guess he just wanted to get out of Aldera...not that I can blame him.

F-First it was finding out what Kacchan has stopped others from doing without my knowledge and now what happened today...never was I more glad to leave Aldera.

Most of the memories I have of this school I can think of I felt neutral about...but I suppose that's alright...

I'm looking forward to going to U.A. more than ever aside from it being my dream...I already had a few that I could consider to be friends I hope to be there. I already know Tokage was accepted, hopefully others will too.

Just a week away, I can hardly wait...

"I can only imagine Young Midoriya." All Might said, breaking me out of my musings at seeing him grin at me.

"And no you didn't mutter, we could clearly see what you were thinking by the look of your face." Erika said, getting my face to flush as she smiled. "Come on, let's get out of here."

"R-Right." I said with a smile.

With that the rest of us departed from the office, I paused only briefly to look back at at before walking off. Hoping that nothing like what was revealed today at Aldera will ever happen again.

C-Considering the gleam in Nezu's eye, it's more than likely guaranteed.

(Aldera's Gates - 5 Minutes later)

Thankfully the crowd of people at the school's gates had cleared up mostly.

Families seemed to be picking up their kids in droves, alongside there was still a police cruiser parked right outside the gates. I guess as a precaution incase anything else happens. At least I didn't see any reporters in the crowd, but I wasn't too sure about right outside the gates...

"We parked not that far from the gates before the crowds started to form. We'll be heading out now. It was nice to see you again Inko and nice to finally meet you Yagi." Masaru said, shaking All Might's hand. "Heard quite a bit about you."

"Same here." All Might said before they separated.

Kacchan grumbled with his hands in his pockets before starting to walk past everyone.

"K-Kacchan.' I said, getting him to pause and turn to glare at me. "I'll try and stay out of your way, thank you for earlier."

"You fucking better and like I would let that villain's ambitions come true!" Katsuki said before he began to walk away. "Prove them wrong you damned nerd, but you'll be nothing more than a sidekick!"

"Kat-""Not a word you dodgy clown!" Katsuki yelled at Masaru before stomping away.

Uncle Masaru just sighed and followed after Kacchan.

"At least he picked a different insult this time, damned brat." Mitsuki said before turning to mom. "Inko your brat is way too kind to my own despite everything."

"Something we agree on." Erika growled out.

"I know, but he wouldn't be Izuku otherwise. Although I could have done without the backhand compliment." Mom said while shaking her head.

"P-Probably among the nicest thing he's said about me in a while, he's been doing it a bit today." I said before sighing. "Although some of that could have just been against the vice principal, but I believe he did mean it...if only somewhat."

Auntie Mitsuki stared at me for a moment before chuckling.

"Never change brat, never change. Feel free to knock some sense into my son if he starts to act up again, certainly know Erika will!" Mitsuki said with a grin as she began to walk off.

Erika grinned and she let out a series of growls from her throat...I guess she was all to eager for it to happen...

H-Hopefully it would not come down to that...

"See you later Inko, going to have some words with my damned brat." Mitsuki said, saying the second part in a quieter tone before turning and disappearing behind the gate.

"What would happen if he did act up in your class?" Mom asked All Might as we started to walk away.

"Give him a single warning if he did do something foolish. I'll act as soon as Bakugou's actions look like it'll endanger others or himself. If he admires me as much as you say, then hopefully have some luck at managing him without resorting to such measures." All Might said, getting mom to nod.

"I-I hope so too." I said, getting him to smile.

Before it turned into a frown and I picked up the scent of smoke again.

"Great." All Might sighed out irritably as we spotted the blue skinned reporter from earlier emerge from behind the school's gate.

"What's wrong Toshinori?" Mom asked as he shook his head.

"Nothing." He sighed out before looking at the reporter with an annoyed expression. "Kizuki, All Might already made it clear that there would be no more interviews for him today and Midoriya will not be interviewed."

"Even with his hero agency closing, it seems to you'll still be All Might's secretary and limiting the time for interviews Yagi. Also by your proximity I'm guessing the boy's mother and the girl's legal guardian is in relation to you, maybe a girlfriend?" The now named Kizuki said, shocking both me and mom as Erika growled. Before the reporter grinned. "Yet I've already gotten the big scoop from this school and All Might's speech. Just wished to ask a simple question to finish this article.

S-She got all that just by looking at us...wait....

N-Now I know who she is...

"Y-You're Chitose Kizuki." I said, getting Kizuki to smile.

"Who?" Erika growled out as a pair of vines began to snake out of her sleeves.

"S-She's the executive director of Shoowaysha Publishing yet she still writes articles, preferring to meet them face to face. I've mainly read the ones she has written on All Might." I admitted, Kizuki seeming to beam at that.

"Glad to hear it, some of my best works. I know this newest article will be the best one of the year so far, but you never know when the next big scoop comes around to surpass it." Kizuki said before. Looking at Erika. "You're not that fond of reporters?"

"Just some experience with pushy tabloid writers." Erika said, getting Kizuki to step back a bit.

"Say no more." She said.

Erika just let out a soft growl before her vines started to retract.

Besides what I know, my knowledge of Shoowaysha Publishing is a little limited except from a successful if mixed reputation. What I did know was that Kizuki despite her position continued to write articles in the field, admitting to hate writing on baseless rumors as she believed in interviewing face to face.

Not sure how much of the latter is true, but Kizuki seemed keen on interviewing face to face.

"And what question would that be?" Mom said pointedly as she and All Might drew closer to me.

"Simple, why does he wish to become a hero? He and the other boy were involved with a villain with a slime Quirk nearly a year ago. Yet his answer was more than telling, saying he will be the Number 1 hero before telling me to 'fuck off', his mother repeating the latter." Kizuki said, seemingly unfazed as mom just sighed.

D-Did sound like something Kacchan and Auntie Mitsuki would do...

"Yet, Midoriya has had more recorded incidents and according to the reports has made sure the other one didn't get hurt with the slime villain or anyone got caught in the crossfire of the Kuregā Street Incident." Kizuki, stepping forward as I stepped back. "The nervous type then, how about an exchange of questions?"

K-Kizuki has done her research, if only in a small amount of time.

"You can answer if you want Midoriya, think of it as practice for the future. Although it is usually not this easy or simple." All Might said giving me a reassuring smile.

I-I suppose that is part of being a hero. Reporters and journalists crowding after a situation is resolved, sometimes risking their safety to get the story they want. I've seen numerous of interviews of heros...but...

I-I was still not ready about the prospect of getting one myself!

A-At least this just seemed like a simple question, and I already had the answer.

"O-Okay?" I said with a nod. "The reason why I want to help people is because I just want to help people in need like All Might, making sure they were okay and I don't care about the ranking. I only want to make sure that they are okay."

"So you don't want to become the next Number 1 hero or Symbol of Piece?" Kizuki asked as I shook my head.

"No, at least I don't intend too. A-And I doubt that anyone one person besides All Might could become it, at least alone. On the advice of what someone once told me, I have time to find my own way to become a Symbol of Peace. It will be with others wishing to help out, but I'm still figuring it out...but I know I can't save everyone all by myself no matter how hard I can try. With others helping, it will at least make thing better to help everyone we can." I said, thinking back onto what I talked with All Might over a month ago,

Q-Quite a long ways before I could even make it a reality if I wanted too...

Still All Might beamed at my words while Kizuki looked at my curiously, her lips twitching up in a smile.

"Well you already got me to help out Izuku." Erika said, getting me to nod before she turned to face Kizuki. "Didn't you say you would ask a single question?"

"It was in two parts, but his answer was certainly a rare one. So many people  usually just believe themselves that they can succeed All Might." She said, shaking her head before smiling. "Now I believe it's your turn, choose your question wisely."

My spines twitched at her words.

H-Her warning was not exactly subtle, but I already have my question.

"I-Is your Quirk explosion related?" I asked, surprising her. "S-Sorry, just your scent reminded me of someone else if vaguely?! I-I thought that maybe one facet of your Quirk works a little similarly?"

To my surprise Kizuki just chuckled and shook her head.

"Finding Quirks based on scent, that's a new one." Kizuki said while shaking her head. "I do, doesn't have that much power but I'm proud of it. Anyway thanks for your time and you'll be seeing me soon enough." She grinned before beginn8g to walk away.

"W-What do you mean by that?" I asked.

"You've been involved with five different villain incidents in the past year, four in the past two months. Trouble seems to find you easily, you're the kind of person reporters would flock too as the best stories would probably fall right into your vicinity." Kizuki said, looking amused.

H-Hate to say she's not exactly wrong...

"M-Most of them were from Shiten, and I hoped to have stopped him but he kept making things worse for himself out of pride." I said while shaking my head.

"You truly wished that?" Kizuki said, briefly pausing in her step as I just nodded.

"Not even sure if Izuku can hate someone." Erika sighed out.

"Certainly doesn't seem like the type." Kizuki said, shaking her head and walking off. "And Yagi I'll be around for All Might's follow up to today."

"Don't expect anything." All Might said as we began to head in the opposite direction. "You did good Young Midoriya, although consider yourself lucky that Kizuki already had her story."

"I take it you know from experience?" Mom asked as All Might sighed.

"Yes, once Kizuki is set on covering a story she is relentless in pursuing as much details as she can for her articles. Nearly found out who I was a few times." He said, in an annoyed tone.

H-Hopefully I won't have to be interviewed for a while once in U.A., still going to have to get used to it...

As we continued to walk away, giving Aldera one last glance before I looked away.

Erika let out a sight growl, before I found several of her vines wrapped around me. Drawing me closer as one began to nuzzle against my cheek.

C-Couldn't even try to break free if I tried.

"I-I'm alright Erika..." I said, trying to reassure her.

"I know, just wanted to make sure and I'm not letting go." She said with a grin while I sighed. A small smile forming on my face.

S-Should have figured she would have done this.

(Midoriya Family Car - 5 Minutes later)

"You okay Izuku?" Mom asked as we stopped to a traffic light not that far from Aldera.

"Yes, it's just been a long day already." I said, getting her to nod while Erika's vine tightened around my arm. Still grumbling a little while she looked out the window.

All but one of her vines had been retracted as soon as we got into the car, Erika was currently not that happy at a new revolution.

We were on the way to get lunch, and Erika realized she wasn't all that hungry and realized why. Aside from gaining energy from consumption and photosynthesis it seems she can get it from the absorbed electricity stored in her cells.

She's not really that happy with all the traits she now has in her own words 'damned three headed salamander'. At the least Erika's frustration seems to be simmering down now.

Our exit from Aldera's gates was thankfully mostly uneventful minus a group of some more reporters a little bit away, seemingly intent on getting any more information like Kizuki was.

W-Was half dragged/ran with Erika before they could notice us before most of her vines unwrapped around me. Complaining under her breath that they didn't change no matter the era.

Genshiro Shiragami was well down for his distaste for reporters, constantly trying to interview him in the middle of projects. A similar sentiment Erika seemed to share at least.

Best not to mention it though...

As for me...I just want to head home after we pick up lunch and work on some of my notes. Otherwise I can't wait for next week.

"I see." Mom said as she looked between myself and All Might before she smiled. "Well there is something Toshinori has been working on for a while, something that you might like."

This caught my attention as well as Erika's as I wondered what he had to say.

"Well you see in four days I have some business I need to check up on in Naruhata, so with some help from Aizawa I decided to do one final event for my hero agency before I close the doors for good. A small food drive based on a business located in the eastern part of the ward, Hopper's Cafe. Just a small event to with some of my employees, but..." All Might trailed off with a grin. "I would really appreciate it if you would like to help out Young Midoriya-"

"Of course." I said with a smile, not even hesitating to contain my excitement. "I'd be more than happy to help."

"Told you he would answer like that." Mom said with an amused expression as the  light turned green, looking back at us in the mirror with a smile. "I'll be helping out there too, what about you Erika? Do you want to come or want to spend the day back at home?"

"I'll go too, I've got nothing better to do. But this Naruhata, is it a ward of Tokyo?" Erika asked, getting all of us to nod.

"Yes, it is the closet to drive to from Musutafu directly. Although part of it is pretty much quite now a days and abandoned, but things have been better for it lately." All Might said.

"You haven't been Tokyo since back before..." I asked, getting Erika to shake her head.

"When I finished my degree before we moved to Saradia. Last I knew it was starting to rebuild from Gojira's first rampage in a decade. Should be interesting to at least see part of it for the first time in nearly 300 years." She said while smiling.

"Just make sure you both are dressed for the weather, the forecast says it's going to chilly that day." Mom said, getting me to nod while Erika responded with an irritated growl while she nodded to.

She's not really a big fan on the sudden shifts in temperatures.

But her irritation cleared up a moment later as she smiled at me while I was struggling to contain my excitement and pulled out my notebook.

I never thought that I would actually ever have a chance to do anything with All Might's hero agency, especially with it closing down. So I was pretty ecstatic to at least participate in something before it closed for good.

Just another thing as couldn't wait to happen this week alongside going to U.A..

Today had been a long day, but this news and All Might's speech, I fell almost as happy as I did when I got the results last night. Only have to wait a few days more...

(3rd POV - Derelict Apartment - Yokohama - Nightfall)

"He should have been here three minutes now." Kurogiri said, checking a stopwatch as he stood near a glass door.

The building was noticing more than one of many stopping/drop off points for All for One's spies. Although one that seemed to have attracted the police's attention lately. It was scheduled for demolition two days from now.

All the spies tied with the building had been were notified long ago to abandon it or were silenced once their use had run out. Although Kurogiri knew that a pair of them had been used for the doctor's latest project.

Still Yobayakawa should be back by...ah there he is...

Kurogiri opened the glass door to its full length as the bat like villain dove in, quickly closing it as he panted and crashed on a couch.

"Glad you could make it, what took you so long?" Kurogiri asked as he moved towards the kitchen area as the villain recomposed himself and picked up a large silver case from his talons.

"They finally figured out the jobs are from me, some hero with a stone Quirk was there for me at the clinic. Kept me busy until the Trigger ran out. Had to double check no one was tailing me." Yobayakawa said as Kurogiri nodded.

Besides the ones his young charge had brought to the doctor the other night, only three of the escapees including Yobayakawa were still on the run.

He supposed they were going to figure out eventually, especially when they probably got his photo when he smashed up that ATM on the other side of the city.

"Just put the laser scalpel with the other stuff in the broom closet, an associate will be there to pick them up after midnight." Kurogiri said as he poured the both of them a drink.

Honestly it was just going to be him doing it.

The laser scalpel wasn't the first piece of expensive medical equipment they had asked him to steal today. But this had been stolen from a private clinic under the ownership of the doctor.

It was a tool mainly used for brain surgeries or for patients whose Quirks made normal surgical tools useless against their skin, a rare and expensive tool.

One the doctor's insurance will cover the cost for a new one while he repurposes it for Project Kodoku.

"Don't tell me there's another job, that was the fifth one today!" Yobayakawa snapped, getting Kurogiri to shake his head.

"No, just make sure to lock up the closet and we leave for Fujisawa in the hour. Once we get to safe house, feel free to crash until 11 a.m.. Got two jobs tomorrow and they are big ones." Kurogiri said, getting Yobayakawa to grin.

"Got it." He said, walking out of the apartment.

Just a few more jobs and then he could get his chance for revenge!

Kurogiri sighed before quickly downing his glass.

Only another hour before he could at least see his charge again...

Still the plan was going perfectly, extra medical equipment for the doctor to use and untraceable funding for the doctor's use or for All for One's other operations. And the doctor would have to locate a proxy to sell some of it to throw off the trail.

A necessary step, but Kurogiri knew that All for One was looking forward to the final step of this plan.

(Chapter 19 end)

https://youtu.be/YRU7MZWDmgg

Hey guys Mukuro7 here and welcome back to another chapter of The Hero and The Kaiju. Sorry I hadn't had this out earlier but been busy.

And admittedly had to once again divid the chapter in half, mainly because I realized most of what I had would be around Aldera. So expect the next chapter in sometime in the next month. After that expect a massive one sometime before the year is out.

Anyway and a bit about this chapter things have gone down in Aldera with what was going on behind closed doors being thrown open, they played games and found out the hard way. With the ring leader the vice principal being a member of the MLA, and it seems like his actions pissed off the wrong people.

Also does anyone know if that is canon or not, keep finding conflicting sources if it was something that originated in the fandom or was canon and I glossed it over. Well in story it's canon now.

Something I had also promised was Bakugou facing some consequences for his actions. As Nezu said it's a thin path for him, while there will be some support if he pushes too far he'll fall right out of the hero course. Of course despite that he is still plotting to turn things in his favor, seeing it as a challenge to improve himself.

Like in canon it's going to take some hard knocks until some sembalance of sense is knocked in.

Finally All Might's and Aizawa's plan is revealed, a food drive in Naruhata. The main business associated with it, Hopper's Cafe is actually associated with Aizawa. The owners of which were dealer of the legal kind of Trigger without a license before going legit with their cafe, with Aizawa using their former business to investigate the Villain Factory and not turning the two into the police for their cooperation. If I remember correctly he has his own seat there and is a somewhat frequent customer when in the area. Most of the employees are former low level villains and make steps to inhibit other such individuals sometimes.

Aside from being something to finish up his hero agency on, it's something All Might to do with Izuku while he takes care of some business with Aizawa.

What kind of buissness you may ask...you'll see.

That should be all for now, but before we can finish first I have two things to say.

I should have said it in my Code Geass story, but might as well say it here...I got my associates degree not that long ago. Honestly been working on it for a majority of the time I've been writing fanfics so I'm just glad it paid off. Going to start the next level of it in the fall hopefully if everything goes to plan.

But on the second note and something you all are probably more looking forward too...got my own Discord server now.

Called Mukuro's Lounge, have to thank ReaperRefical for setting it up. It's not much admittedly compared to some of the servers I seen but I'm happy for it..admittedly still need to work on a little but it's a place to discuss stuff or I can post updates to my stories. I use my fanfic.net/ao3 username for my discord name. If you want a link just send a message to my inbox and I'll get back to you while I can.

Anyways that should be all for now.

Next chapter Izuku and Erika make a quick check up with Monarch and discover how much the Ghidorah traits have affected her, with him dragged into a quick spar after making a small discovery of his own. Monarch moves to start put an old rumor to rest while on the villains side they have some progress while also have a pretty close call. With the chapter ending with them heading to Naruhata and Erika meeting some that catches her interest.

Hope you all enjoy it when the next chapter comes out.

Until then, ciao!
