Some say that they are terrified.
Some say they are scared.
Some say they are brave.
Some say that they can handle it.
Some say that they can go on their own.
But, it's those who are scared, and terrified.
They are the smart ones.
The brave ones just end up as one in the horde.

"Alright. I think that's that last of it!" I shout.
"Are you sure?" Ashley yells back.
"I'll do a quick double check... we don't have much time left before the walkers get here." I shout back.
"Hey... uh... guardian..." Ashley says. "I think I found something you may want to see."
"Yeah? What is it?" I ask.
"It's a journal, with the name 'the guardian' on it." She says
"Hold on..." I say as I take the book... it holds absolutely everything about me. Including my name...
"So your real name is Lukas, huh?" She says. "Why have you never told anyone?"
"Well... uh..." I stammer. How do I respond to this? "It's a long story..."
"Well, while we are leaving, you can tell me." She says. Why did she have to say that.
"Well... you see my gas mask?" I ask.
"Yeah..." She says.
"Take it off If you want to know why." I say. And she takes off my mask. And you can see the look of horror on her face. I could tell that she is afraid. I don't blame her. "There is a reason why I keep that thing on. Now, to tell you why no one actually knows anything about me. That is because even I don't. After I got... well... bit... I lost all memory of who I was. But, somehow, I still have my humanity left."
"How...." She stammers in fear.
"I don't know, but because I have my humanity in me, zombies do actually, well, come after me. Now. Let's go while we still can. Please though, don't tell anyone about this, ok? And I promise, I won't kill you." I say, making sure she doesn't run from me. 
"Ok... ok... I'm just... stunned. It's just confusing."
"I know. Trust me. I don't know how I am... human either." I say. Soon after, we hear a massive amount of growling and thudding. "Alright, let's just get out of here!" I shout.
And that's basically where everything goes wrong.
