A lot of you seem confused by Gaster's language as it's used here, and I'm not surprised; it didn't click into my head until after the fourth chapter to use it as an alphabetical-to-numerical code.

To help you understand, here's an example:

○    ♀○♂♣    ♂♣¶♥◘§► = I like ketchup

And another:

§♫♦♣♪¶☺♀♣ = Undertale
