░ Chapter Twelve
Jimin sighed for the umpteenth time that day. But his sigh did not sound sad. Nope, not at all. Instead, his sigh was paired with a dazed smile and sometimes giggles if the butterflies in his stomach were too much to handle. The thief couldn't simply help it. He was thinking of Min Yoongi all day.
After their recent heist, Jimin bombarded Namjoon with lots of questions about the former detective. He did, every single day. Their leader warned him that he should stay away from Yoongi and that he knew the man. Min Yoongi was a man born for justice and law. Jimin being a criminal didn't help his case at all.
Oh, but they were Romeo and Juliet. Jimin, the stunning prince of the elite world of crimes and felony. Yoongi, the knight of the poor and blinded people that believed justice actually existed. Two men from two different worlds...
Falling in love...
Jimin liked that thought. Very much. Except for the part that one would die in the end.
Nope, Jimin was the author and no one would die. In his story, Yoongi would decide to join him, they would make out day and night, and would live happily ever after.
He was, of course, also happy because they earned a good amount of cash from their last heist. It was funny, knowing the fact that he was way richer than Yoongi could ever be in his salary as a detective, and especially now, as a guard. His planning to buy lots of expensive hot outfits and makeup for the next time he would see the man.
Taehyung, on the other hand, had his car changed into a rainbow matte color he had always wanted. Still rainbow, but now it was matte. He also asked Namjoon to buy him new Gucci jackets. His best friend was really spoiled, but Jimin thought it was cute, especially that their leader couldn't ever say no.
Speaking of Taehyung, he watched as his best friend skipped towards his brother, probably to ask him to buy something again. He had not seen Taehyung the whole day so he's wondering what he's been up to.
Jimin was wrong, though. Taehyung was not here to ask for anything.
"Hyung! I think I'm in love," Taehyung declared, clutching his chest dramatically.
Their leader only raised an eyebrow at the antic. "Tae... Didn't you just drink, like, more than 10 cups of coffee today?"
Oh, so that was why he hadn't seen him all day.
Taehyung nodded furiously. "Yes! I found that forgotten coffee bean container and it will expire tomorrow so I had to finish it!"
Jimin heard Namjoon sigh and he couldn't help the smile playing on his lips at the display before him. Of course, his best friend would do that. "Yeah well. You're not in love. You're just having palpitations."
With a gasp, Taehyung looked down at his chest. "Palpitations..." he repeated with so much wonder in his voice.
"In case you didn't know, stupid coffee-hoarding chipmunk, palpitations and being in love are two different things," Jungkook commented on the side, his voice monotonous as usual as he taunted Taehyung with a straight face and haughty scoff. Jimin didn't even notice that the youngest in their team was in the same room. Not surprising, though. He was always in the same room as Tae for some reason.
Taehyung huffed and stuck his tongue out at the other boy, before skipping towards Jimin. Jimin flashed him a grin and opened his arms wide so that Taehyung could cuddle unto him.
"The muscle pig is being a meanie again," his best friend whined as soon as he reached Jimin.
"How about the Gucci belt studded with diamonds that suddenly appeared in your room out of nowhere?" Jimin asked, putting his head on the taller man's shoulder.
Taehyung hummed, his irritation on Jungkook slowly disappearing. "What does that have to do with Jungcock?"
"I don't know... Who do you think placed it there?" Jimin asked. He was trying to hint to Taehyung that maybe it was their youngest who bought (or most probably, stole) it for him. He didn't have any evidence and he wasn't even sure, but he'd like to think that maybe it was Jungkook.
"The leprechaun, of course!" Taehyung answered with so much confidence. "He's probably scared that I'll steal his gold so he gave me a gift. You know we're known, Chim. It makes sense if the leprechauns and unicorns have heard of us already."
Jimin nodded. That's true. But he's still convinced that it's Jungkook. That would be cute. The younger denied it vehemently, though, when Jimin asked him earlier. The furious shaking of his head was slightly suspicious.
Just then, their Hoseok-hyung entered and ran towards them, all the while screaming at the top of his lungs.
"Yah! I've been looking for you two." Ah, his favorite hyung. "I thought we were gonna go party as a celebration for another successful robbery?"
The two younger men nodded excitedly. The three of them would always go out after every heist, a tradition they had developed ever since Jimin joined the group. Namjoon would sometimes go with them, but he's not really a party person so he would commonly decline. Jungkook, on the other hand, was a legit party pooper and would never say yes. Still, the youngest would end up driving them home when one of them, especially Taehyung at most times, get too drunk.
Taehyung left Jimin in favor of sticking himself to his hyung, hugging Hoseok like a Koala. Jimin pouted. "Hobi-hyung~ Are you gonna treat us?"
Hoseok laughed at their leader's brother, ruffling his hair as he did. "Do I have a choice? I always buy for you two rich assholes. I can't believe sometimes that this is where my money goes."
"But you love us!" Jimin and Taehyung shouted in unison. In the background, Namjoon could be heard chuckling and Jungkook was snorting.
"I do, so dress up now before your hyung that loves you changes his mind."

They asked Namjoon and Jungkook if they wanted to come, and as usual, the two shook their heads. Namjoon, politely smiling as he refused, and Jungkook, rudely saying no and turning his back to them as he walked to his room.
They decided to take Jimin's car, a baby blue Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita that he had recently bought a year ago after his BMW Hurricane got caught in the fire in one of his really wild moments with Taehyung (that should not be discussed). As it was Jimin's car, he was assigned to drive them to the club that Hoseok was dying to go.
He's not great or expert in driving, but he was decent. Although in times of need, they were taught by Jungkook techniques on how to escape and make it easy to drive fast.
Taehyung and Hoseok were belting out the high notes of BT21's new song, Truth Untold, when Jimin saw it.
Here he was, a simple young lad driving peacefully, having no idea that he'd be blessed today with such a wonderful sight. A nice, wonderful, and totally hot sight.
Because just as Jimin turned the corner, he saw a man riding a motorcycle. He was wearing a black helmet, black leather jacket, black jeans and the motorcycle itself was black, too. This was in contrast to his pale hands that were clutching the handlebar. And if he couldn't be any luckier, the man behind the helmet was no other than Yoongi.
His Min Yoongi.
Oh, he knew those cat-eyes really well. He only had a chance to get a glimpse of the face inside the thankfully-not-so-tinted helmet. But he knew. He knew even from that impossible angle that it was him.
So he rode a motorcycle.
And wore leather jackets.
How bad was it to get turned on while you're with your friends, driving a car?
"What the- Park Jimin! Are you gonna kill us?!" he heard Hoseok scream. In his dazed moment, he had not seen the car in front of them. Oops.
At least he was able to maneuver safely to the side before anything regrettable happened.
Turned out that the answer to Jimin's questions was 'VERY'. Very, very bad. And he liked it.

Yoongi took off his helmet with a sigh. He was not able to focus on anything at all the whole day. He hated the fact that he couldn't take off the image of Jimin from his traitorous mind.
Jimin.
Cute name. It was common, yes, but somehow it really suited him. It really suited the wrinkles in his eyes when he smiled, his eyes that turn into two beautiful crescents while trying to charm Yoongi. Really suited his smirking plump lips that looked even fuller after they kissed, his pleasant laugh, his high-pitched moans, his ragged breathing, his tongue...
Ugh, not again.
Yoongi scowled at no one. He couldn't believe that he had done it again. He lapsed again, too drowned with thoughts of a particular thief that he shouldn't really be thinking.
He was a thief, for shit's sake. He couldn't, shouldn't, let him take over his mind, especially now that he had to think of ways on how to track Rem.
He was so close already. He couldn't afford any distractions. Especially if said distraction was a cute and clever lawbreaker.
Yoongi sighed and made his way to his apartment, all the while still trying to fight away thoughts of swollen plump lips as he rode the elevator. Because if he would be honest with himself, which he'd prefer to never be, he did enjoy the kiss. So much. So much that he almost lost himself during the kiss and had forgotten why he was there.
Now that he wasn't a detective anymore and being a rookie guard didn't give him much to do, he had plenty of time to focus on finding Rem and his gang. He'd finally get him, he just knew that.
The moment he arrived in his apartment, he went straight to his make-shift office where he had kept all the file he had collected as a detective (files that he was allowed to keep, at least). He gazed at the pinboard in front of him. Every detail and information of Rem and BTS was there.
He knew that BTS had five members, including Rem and Jimin. He also knew what type of deals they do and how they do it. But really, Yoongi was only familiar with Rem and his techniques. He was blind to the others, which was why it was hard to track the group back when he was still a detective. But he had Jimin now.
Yoongi stared at the pinboard. How could he get Rem? And why was that Master trying to collect these five gems? Yoongi had a feeling that it's not just about collecting some strange stones. It was even more.
And his hunch was never wrong.
His eyes landed on the third in the list of gems that the 'Master' was trying to get his hands on. It also had coordinates written beside it.
Golden Pearl.
He grabbed his phone and dialed Jin's number.
"Is this about the clogged sink? I swear, it wasn't me! It's already clogged when I went there yesterday," Jin said the moment he picked up the phone.
Yoongi's brows furrowed. "Uh, no, this is not about that. But the sink was clogged? What the heck, Jin."
"Well, what do you need, then? And don't worry, I'll pay for that damn sink."
He sighed. He didn't even notice that there was something wrong with his sink. Maybe he should stop eating instant ramen and start eating actual food.
"I need your help, Captain. Are you willing to help me steal something?"
