░ Chapter Ten
Yoongi found himself crouching behind one of the garbage bins near a huge shop in Incheon full of objects relating to Feng Shui belief and healing. They have at least ten guards protecting the vicinity and according to Yoongi's research, the jade stone called 'Fuyuwan' was rumored to be kept inside a vault.
The owner believed that the stone brought luck to their shop, and so he kept the stone instead of selling it. A lot of people wanted to get their hands on that stone, believing some bullshit about healing and success, so the owner had to secure it inside a heavily locked vault.
It was a little funny how easy everything was. Rem was very careful with everything and it was almost impossible to find out anything about him or BTS. Well, they might be good at protecting their data, but their client wasn't.
Yoongi had to file a leave from his job just to get here so Rem better show himself. He wasn't even sure what time they'll be here, but judging from their patterns and from the last time they did a heist in the museum, they should be arriving any minute now.
"Aish," he groaned, having to crouch for so long. He quickly texted his whereabouts to Jin just in case something happens.
He was about to curse as he started feeling his legs go numb when he saw it. Saw him.
He watched as two men wearing the uniform of maintenance crews approach one of the guards. One of them smiled in a flirty way, his eyes turning up into crescent moons and reminding Yoongi of the events that took place not so long ago. It was the same smile.
Yoongi released a breath he had not known he was holding. It was the pretty stranger.

"Phase 2 accomplished!" Hoseok announced when he and Jimin were finally able to enter the electrical room of the shop, pretending to be part of the maintenance crew. "That guard was smitten over our Jiminie."
Namjoon chuckled, watching the two on the screen of his laptop. Hacking into the system was pretty easy. He and Jungkook were inside their White Nissan NV2500 cargo van, as usual, parked two blocks away and hidden well in an alley. Taehyung was already inside, going through the vent.
His brother, being the one who specialized in opening locks and vaults without a sweat, needed to enter the building separately, much to the younger's dismay. He had pouted and begged all his might, wanting to disguise as a maintenance crew together with his 'my forever soulmate that I can't live without hyung why' Jimin.
But of course, the plan was the priority, as much as Namjoon wanted to succumb to his cute brother's pleas.
"Phase 3. Hope and Mochi are in the electrical room. Mochi on lookout," Jimin's sweet voice was heard. Namjoon nodded even though he knew they couldn't see him, satisfied with how smooth everything was going. Jungkook hummed beside him.
"That's great," Namjoon said over the microphone. "V, how's it going?"
"Already here in their restroom. It smells really good, hyung! I could poop here all day."
"Such helpful information, V, thank you for that," Jungkook inserted, voice dry as he scoffed over the mic.
Before Taehyung could retort, Namjoon was speaking again. They need to be focused on this one since they only have limited time. Security was easy to breach, but since it's a business shop, the owner tended to visit every now and then without a pattern. Sometimes, even in the evenings. And it would be a big disaster if ever the said owner decided to visit today.
They need to finish this as soon as possible.
"Hope, proceed to Phase 3 now."
"Aye aye. I just finished working with the wires here. I'll turn off the main power in seconds. V get ready," Hoseok said.
"Okay, so I have 5 seconds to inhale as much of this scented candles. Jimin we should go back here sometime as customers and pretend that we need to have a pee pee. It really smells good here."
Namjoon snorted, shaking his head at the younger boy's antiques. Jungkook only raised one judgmental eyebrow.
After a few seconds, Namjoon watched as the camera footages inside the shop all went black at the same time. It was a good excuse, having to go there as maintenance people and needing to turn the power off for a few seconds to 'fix' an unknown ticking sound that's been there for days (and that Jungkook himself installed when he went disguising as a customer a week ago). Since the guards and the owner himself already knew that they had to turn the main power off, it's easy to keep them off the coast as they did the heist.
Of course, they couldn't have the power out for a long time or the guards would either decide to join them in trying to fix whatever fake ticking it was that Jungkook placed there, or get suspicious and decide to, well, follow them around. The owner was paranoid since a lot of people had tried stealing his precious jade.
He really should be, Namjoon thought. Because they were about to steal it now.
They just need the main power to be out for long enough to have Hoseok disable the cameras. The cameras outside of the shop were still on as they had a different power source. This was useful, as Namjoon could see if the owner was visiting or if any guards were suspiciously roaming the area.
"Moving to Phase 4," Hoseok singsonged, probably now in the process of disabling the cameras, sticking a specialized screen to the lenses that showed a picture of the area it was recording and making it look like it was really showing a footage real time even though it's not as the lenses were covered.
Namjoon waited patiently as Hoseok did his part. It would only be safe for Taehyung to come out of the washroom after the older thief was done. He was counting the minutes when he noticed something. One of the cameras placed outside was showing the empty lot just at the right side of the shop.
It looked empty, except for the fact that there was a slight hint of a shadow that definitely seemed like a man. A man hiding behind a bush.
"What the heck..." he whispered, and Jungkook immediately turned to him, alarmed at their leader's reaction. The others who were inside the shop asked as well, similarly concerned.
The shadow moved.
Shit. There really was someone there.
And before he was able to ask Jimin to check it out, a man emerged from the bushes and sprinted to the side where it was a blind spot, an area that no camera was able to capture.
"Hyung..." Jungkook whispered. His eyes were wide as he looked at Namjoon in question.
The leader didn't need to review the camera or zoom the footage. He knew who it was. Damn, he knew that person all too well.
It's been a long time, huh.
"Shit, Min Yoongi is here," he stated, receiving mixed reactions from the others. The most remarkable and loudest was the excited squeal from Jimin. And well, Taehyung squealed, too, not as loud but definitely sounded excited for his best friend.
Namjoon shook his head.
"I'll take care of him!" Jimin declared almost instantly after screaming.
Hoseok was quick to intervene. "What the heck, Jimin, NO."
Namjoon sighed. "Actually, I think we should have Jimin do this."
"Hobi-hyung!" came Jimin's whiny voice. "It's literally my role in our gang to take care of nuisance and be the lookout so..."
"But I thought Jimin shouldn't do this?" Hoseok addressed Namjoon, ignoring Jimin's pleas. "And also, I'm done with the cameras. I'm going back to the electrical room now to turn the power back on. Let's move on to Phase 5."
"Good job, Hope. V, let's get going with Phase 5."
"Aye aye, captain! I can't hear youuuu. Aye aye, captain! Ohhh-"
"V."
"Yes, yes, Rem-hyung. On my way now, skipping through my wonderful journey. I feel like there will be a lot of good stuff inside that safe. Can I take something else if they look pretty?"
He wasn't even surprised at the question anymore. "V, you can't and you know that. And don't forget to replace the jade with the dummy. We can't have them finding out that it got stolen."
"Okay," Taehyung answered, his voice sounding a little sad. "I'm currently trying to open the lock. And Mochi, good luck with your little adventure! I'm rooting for you, my friend."
They all listened as Taehyung and Jimin squealed in excitement, sounding like two highschool girls talking about their crush.
"Let's focus, team," Namjoon interjected, watching as the cameras inside the shop started working again. This time, they weren't showing real footages, though. "And to answer your question earlier Hope, yes, I think Jimin should do this. I've known Yoongi for so long now that I'm not even surprised he's here, although I have to find out how the freaking heck did he know we're here. At this point, only Jimin can distract and stop Yoongi."
Another squeal from Jimin was heard.
