Maxine's P.O.V.

I laughed at Louise's story .He was just so funny. It's really nice to talk to him. He told me some embarrassing stories of his young siblings and I told him about Mateo's. The privilege of being older than your siblings.

"He actually did that?"

He nodded." Hugo is a little dare devil he is."

The sound of the door open and close met my ears.

"Mateo, come meet our guest." I called out to him.

Mateo came to view and saw Louise. His eyebrows raised. He gave out his hand for him to shake." Uh, hi, I'm Mateo."

Louise shook his hand." Louise ."

But there was something in his eyes when he spoke to Mateo. Like he's trying to read if he's good enough for something or someone. Does he still think that my brother Mateo is the Mateo he's looking for?

"Hey Mateo , do you know someone by the name Emma?"

His eyes widened." Why?"

Louise narrowed his eyes." She's my sister."

Mateo shifted uncomfortably." So, you're her twin."

"And you're the guy she fancies ."

Mateo looked like he was given a priceless reward." She likes me?"

What is going on here?

Mateo's P.O.V.

   Emma likes me?! This is amazing! I actually have a little crush on her, but I never knew that she felt the same way! The feeling is amazing. It's like I'm floating in the air.

Louise's P.O.V.

   I still need to know if he's perfect for my sister. He could be one of those players and I want them away from her as possible. And when dad hears about this , he'll go insane. The last time Emma said she likes someone, dad was on his way to get his sword.

Yeah. Dad is very protective of us . Despite our age, he still treats us like toddlers.

"Why don't we go over at my place? We could have some snacks at the garden." I suggested.

"We don't want to intrude-"

I cut Maxine off.

"No , I don't mind. Come on, I'll show you around. You guys are actually the first people who treats me like a normal person and I can tell we'll be great friends."

We went to the palace while talking all the way. So this is what's it like to have true friends . I like it. We went in and they were in awe of the sight.

"It's so beautiful." Said Maxine.

"Thank you, I'll just go upstairs to change , the maids will lead you to the garden." I bowed and left to the direction of my room. Don't look at me like that. I was raised to act like an actual Prince you know.

I closed the door to my room and changed into the my most normal looking clothes that isn't being washed.

You can probably guess that mom designed it for me.

I went to the part of the garden where Maxine and Mateo were.

We made a bit of conversation and our food were brought. At a good time too. I was starving after my lessons.

We all chatted and we grew a bond. I wish Emma was here , but she's with mom in some party . Hope she's having fun though. Those events bore me to sleep. Literally. Dad had to pour water on me to wake me up.

It was starting to get late , so I assigned one of my drivers to send them home. After we exchange numbers of course. Now all I have to do , is think on how much should I wage Emma for Mateo's number.
