Samsong has been in the business of ministering to God's people through his spirit inspired songs for quite some time and is not about to stop now.

"E Dey Work" was released in 2019 and still in the same year won a highly coveted award during the LIMA award show in November 2019
For it's excellence, the music video was also nominated for "music video of the year" 2019 during the LIMA awards show.

E Dey Work which simply means "It is Working" is titled in one of Nigeria's most popular languages called "Pidgin English".

The song carries the message of our work in the house of the Lord.
Many think that paying tithes and giving offerings e.t.c are all a waste of time.
Samsong is here to tell you, "IT'S NOT!"
Don't let anybody discourage you from doing what God said you should do.
It'll eventually pay off because no one serves the Lord in vain!

              I'll tell you my story.
It goes back to when I was in high school or secondary school as Nigerians call it.
We were about to take our final exams (WAEC).
The reputation of WAEC had been passed down by word of mouth through our seniors who had taken theirs.
  It was drilled into everyone's heads.
"If you don't pass it, you'll rewrite it with your juniors!"
"If you don't pass, you'll be at home while your mates are in school!"
(Nigerians will know the rest 😂)
Beacause of this, nobody wanted to fail and so many of my classmates had prepped themselves on what to do when the time came.
According to them…"We have to be smart! This is our life we're talking about o.." and lah deeh dah.
However, I was resolute that I wasn't going to take part in anything unacceptable.
I knew that I was accountable to God even if nobody.
They sure looked at me like I was crazy but I didn't care because I had made my decision.
To cut the long story short, the time for the exams came and I did the right thing.
Looking back now, I don't really see anything good that has come out of it yet; I even failed a very important course because of that.
In fact when I saw my results, I was devastated.

"I thought I stood for you God, why didn't you vindicate me?"
"I'll look like a fool to them now."
"They'll laugh at me and feel their way was best."
"Why didn't you show yourself mighty in my case?"
"Why me?"

What did I not ask God?
But each time, he reassured me with his grace and love.
They could think all they wanted. Besides, I'm not living my life to prove anything to anybody. If I please all and not God, what good is it?
All that mattered was that God was proud of me.
So I got back up and held my head high.
I know "…All things work together for my good because I love God and am called according to his purpose…".
In other words, E Dey Work haha.

This is to everyone who thinks there's no use pressing on. "What am I gonna get from it anyway?" I got you right? Yeah.
Don't give up.
Keep declaring the word.
Keep paying those tithes.
Keep giving your offerings.
Keep speaking in tongues.
Remember he is the rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Serve him with all your heart because he never disappoints.
It may not show now but it will; just keep doing it.
