"I can explain." Y/N said to us as Ohm paced the room.

"How long have you been like this?" I asked.

"Since my escape from the lab." she replied. I looked over at Delirious who sat quietly on the sofa with his head in his hands.

"How old were you when it happened?" asked Delirious. 

"When what happened?" she asked in return.

"When my father did what he did to you." he responded.

"I was 17 when it started and I was 18 when I escaped." she replied.

"So you kept this from me for 5 years?" Ohm asked.

"Yes." she answered. Ohm walked out, slamming the door behind him. I looked at her and saw tears in her eyes. I looked over to Delirious and motioned my head toward the door telling him to check on Ohm. I pulled Y/N in and hugged her as Delirious left. Once the door was closed, I cupped her face and used my thumbs to wipe away her tears. She smiled at me and I smiled back and laid my head on hers. I looked at her as she pulled away and looked at me. I leaned my face closer to hers and kissed her.  She pulled away and smiled.

"Why did we have to stop?" I asked with a playful pout.

"Look around." she stated with a smile. I looked around and saw that we were surrounded by fire.

"What is happening?" I asked.

"Look at me." she replied. I look at her and saw her eyes glowing red. 

"Is this why your eyes are glowing red?" I asked with a smile.

"Not just mine." she answered returning the smile.

"What do you mean?" I asked, raising a brow.

"We control the fire, we can make it do anything we want it to." she answered. 

"So my eyes are glowing too?" I asked and she nodded. I smiled and kissed her again.

"Uhh.....can someone tell me what's happening in here?" asked Ohm. We looked in his direction and the fire turned to glass as it made a shattered effect.

"That was so cool!" Moo exclaimed.

"How did you do that?" asked Nogla.

"It's called an aura." answered Adam from behind the guys.

"Can you do it again?" asked Lui in his squeaky voice. Y/N picks up a piece of paper, balls it up and places it on the palm of her hand.

"CaRtOoNz, light it on fire." she exclaimed. 

"I don't want to hurt you." I replied but she smiled.

"It will only hurt the people you want it to hurt." she replied back.

"How do I light it?" I asked.

"All you have to do is look at it." she answered. I looked at the paper ball and it burst into flames.  Eyes widened at the sight of the flames. 

"This is so cool!" I exclaimed.

"For something that small, you can just blow air on it but the bigger it is, the more energy is used to put it out. " replied Adam. Suddenly a loud noise from the front door can be heard.

~Y/N p.o.v~

"Doesn't he know how to knock?" I asked jokingly and Jordan snickered. The sudden smell of Shaun and his men started to annoy me. Jordan and Jay both put on their face mask and stood on each side of me with guns drawn as I stood at the top of the steps looking at the intruders below.

"I'm not here for trouble, please put the guns away." Shaun stated. I looked at him with question.

"Before I tell them to stand down, why are you here?" I asked.

"Fusion Inc." he answered. Adam walked over with his face hidden and put his hand on my shoulder.

"Bring him to the meeting room." he whispered and I nodded. I waved the guns down and told them to come up. Once we get to the door, I stop everyone.

"They're not coming in." I demanded and he nodded. Shaun told them to wait for him and walked in the room. I motioned for Delirious and Jordan to follow.

"Why are they allowed to come in?" he asked. 

"Don't worry about them, what is it that you wanted to talk about?" I replied.

"Can you answer my question first?" he asked back.

"Because I can't trust you." I answered.

"Fair enough, when was the last time you heard from my brother?" he asked.

"I just saw him before you showed up. Why?" I asked back. 

"He won't answer any of my text or calls." he answered and I grinned.

"Call him now." I suggest. He gives me a confuse look before picking up the phone and calling Jordan. All heads turn to Jordan when his phone began to rang. He took his phone out and rejected the call, took his face mask off an smiled at his brother. Shaun looked surprised and confused at the same time.

"You're working with her?" asked Shaun and Jordan nodded.

"And so is dad." he explained and pointed over to Adam who also took off his mask.

"We can save the the family reunion for later, we have more important things at hand." I announced and they agreed.

"What is it that you wanted to tell us?" asked Adam.

"Fusion Inc. is looking for you two." he replies pointing at Delirious and I.

"Both of them? Why?" Jordan asked.

"Because Delirious is Micheals son." Adam replied.

"And Y/N?" asked Jordan.

"No one knows." Adam answered.  

"That's not the only reason why I'm here, I want to apologize to Y/N and Jordan. I know that everything I did was wrong in every way. I don't hate you for killing Casey and I don't blame you for hating me but bro, that child is not mine. She was pregnant when I saw her in Fusion Inc. building." Shaun added.

"So what are we gonna do about my father?" asked Delirious.

"He knows we're here, so there's no point in hiding from him." I replied.

"Last time I was there, he did say that he needed to keep you from meeting each other but that failed so now he's trying to stop you from "seeing" one another or at least that's what he wants me to do." Shaun added.

"Why?" I asked.

"He knows what's going to happen, he wants to stop it before it starts." Adam replied.

"I'm confused!" Delirious announced.

"Think about it Delirious, you saw what happened with her and CaRtOoNz over a kiss. What do you think is going to happen when she falls for you." responded Jordan. 

"Jordan, please stop." I pleaded. 

"I want to hear this." insisted Delirious.

"Let's put it this way, when did you first see her?" asked Adam

"When I was exploring the lab, I walked by the door leading to the testing room where she was . I was told to never go in there and that whatever was in there would kill me the moment it saw me but curiosity got the best of me so I walked in with a knife in hand  and looked around. I used the flashlight on my phone to see and panned it around to see her sitting on the bed with her head back and her eyes closed. My grip on the knife tightened as I stood there because she lowered her head to look over at me." Delirious answered. I smiled at his response.

"Were you scared when she saw you?" Adam asked him.

"No." he replied.

"Why not?" I asked.

"Because you gave off a warm smile, I felt safe." he answered.

"That's what your dad didn't want to happen." I stated. 

"Why?" he asked.

"You'll see." I answered. 

"So what's the plan?" asked Jordan and we all looked at Adam.

"We go to him but first we wait and relax for the moment." Adam replied and we all agreed and everyone headed out except for me. I turned around to do something at the desk when Delirious called my name. "Y/N"

"Yes Delirious?" I asked as he walked back over

 "There is something I've been wanting to do." he replied as he pulled me close and kissed me. I slowly kissed back and melted into his arms while wrapping mine around his neck. He eventually pulled back and leaned his forehead on my mine.

"Your friends are waiting for you on the other side of the door." I said as I pecked his lips one more time before removing my arms from his neck.

"I know but I don't want this moment to end." he replied.

"Neither do I but we both need to get some rest. I have things to do tomorrow." I replied back.

"Fine, I'm going home. Am I going to see you tomorrow?" he asked.

"Only if you want to." I replied and he smiled as he kissed me one last time before leaving.

"I'll see him tomorrow, I guarantee it."
