~Laxus's Pov~ 

Ivan laughed at me as I only stood there ready for an attack. "Two Heartfilla boys affected by the Heartfilla curse, forced to protect and care for the female Heartfilla without even knowing" Ivan laughed moving his sword, pointing it right at me. Both of us waiting for the other to attack. I only raised an eyebrow looking toward him. "No. You must know. That the Rebels and your father knew something about your sister, something they kept quiet about all this time and even from you" Ivan spoke in a serious tone.

I stepped forward slightly getting in a fighting stance. I heard Mira trying to free Sting and Rogue with spells. Ivan's records weren't much, most were deleted once long ago by Ivan himself. We knew an equally powerful spell could free someone from his traps even if the spell is more powerful than his trap, somehow it wouldn't work. His gifts were very annoying. "True there is something they kept but they did it for us plus like we would believe a word you would say, your nothing but a traitor" I replied as Ivan had an entertained look on his face.

"I only picked the better Master. Makarov is weak he cares about others he doesn't even know, he never pushes anyone to be stronger" Ivan spoke as I had to hold myself back from rolling my eyes. Ivan soon moved about to kill a frozen woman as I moved faster, my lightning gift being a true savour at times. I was able to block his sword as I turned around fast kicking him in the side. I sent a full lightning bolt through Ivan's body as I kicked him, sending him flying to into the kitchen. "Laxus be careful, he may be an idiot but his paper is a lot stronger than people think" Mira nearly shouted worried.

"Understood" I only replied lightning bouncing off my whole body. It was easy to tell after hearing his reply. He likes to be powerful. He likes power. Precht Gaebolg offered him that and he took it, backstabbing his own father and family. "How about a game?" Ivan nearly shouted as knives from the kitchen were suddenly floating in front of him. All aiming toward me. I kept myself calm, no emotion showing in my face or eyes. "Game huh?" I asked in reply as Ivan chuckled nodding as I noticed bits of paper on the knives.

He was using the paper to control around him. He most likely had it on the frozen people also. "This game will decide a certain someone's fate" Ivan spoke as I heard Mira scream. I turned my head fast seeing paper like around Sting and Rouge wrap around her. These papers having angel seals. I sweat dropped knowing what that did to demons. She was screaming in pain as I noticed parts of her skin were being burnt. "You act calm and are very powerful, maybe even Master Hades will lend his hand toward you Laxus Dreyar" Ivan spoke as my head went back toward him.

Lightning being clashing down outside the cafe as thunder was being heard outside. "This guy just fucked up" I heard Sting and Rogue speak in fear as the lightning around me turned into a golden colour. Ivan was giving off some crazy laugh as he sent the knives flying at me. I was able to use my spear in one quick motion to push them away, using my lightning to burn off the paper. "These bits of paper is what you control, along with that is the right seal is written on the paper you can control what the paper is on" I spoke as I slammed my spear into the ground. 

Ivan was smirking even more as I noticed a small blue orb flying around above Ivan. "But what are you like without that paper?" I asked as I sent a powerful burst of golden colour lightning into the ground the water sprinklers going off in seconds as I even got the sinks in the kitchen to burst open, getting water to burst all over the cafe. Mira, Sting and Rogue were freed as they were rushing to Mira helping her in a second. Ivan had paper fly out of his sleeves toward me as I lifted my spear cutting through each part that came toward me.

"What is power worth when you have nothing to protect with it? Is harming others really that fun to you?" I asked walking toward Ivan who was moving backwards, the smirk and the cocky look on his face had turned into fear. I soon moved fast with the lightning cutting off both of Ivan's arms making him burst into a scream. Blood pouring out his arms as I was right in front of him. "I would get the information out of you but your Master is watching us right now, right? So I will give that fucker this chance to get ready" I spoke moving my spear up, it aimed toward Ivan's heart.

He was shaking looking at me with pure fear. "That fucker better be ready for hell. He sent you to threaten my little brother and even try saying shit about my little sister. He better be ready for his one way trip to the void" I spoke before moving my spear at Ivan moving it upward to pierce through his eye, upward into his brain. I heard screams from the people I freed from Ivan's paper control. "Holy shit" I heard Rogue say in shock as I pulled out the spear letting Ivan's body drop to the ground. I moved my head looking at the orb.

It was flying out the building as my spear vanished. "Cowards" I muttered turning around walking over to the others as Sting and Rogue both were looking at me in shock, both sweating even. Mira was taking deep breaths smiling at me. "Little far don't you think?" she asked as I pulled off my coat putting it around her. I then headed out the cafe, pulling out my phone to call this all in. I didn't answer as once outside I felt my face burning up. It wasn't even the fact he threatened Sting or talked about Lucy that I snapped.

When I heard Mira scream everything in me, it just started to burst the lightning alone, I only saw red. I was calming down my face as I noticed the sky that was once a bright sunny day was now dark, filled with dark clouds. "About to rain" I whispered as Gramps answered his phone. I was worried he was going to be upset that I killed his own son. As I explained what happened all he did was praise me for doing a job he should've done a long time ago. He also thanked me for freeing his son from his thirst for power.

I was in utter shock as Gramps was soon saying he would deal with the rest, ending the call on me. After that second, it began to rain. It pouring down greatly as I sighed closing my eyes, moving my head upwards to face the sky. I moved my phone into my pockets in my bottoms. "Laxus" I heard Sting behind me as I only stood there. "Gramps is going to deal with this mess, you guys are to head back to the apartment" I then spoke as Sting was asking about myself. I didn't move, opening my eyes or anything. 

"I need to check something out, take care of Mira for me" I then spoke as my lightning was starting to bounce off me. I heard Sting call my name as I moved faster than one could see. I needed to check something out. It was a bad feeling, something was coming.
