Y/N's POV

I was walking out of the office towards my car, thinking about whatever had happened back there in the studio.

My driver opens the car door for me to get in, but I just close the door and ask him to give me the car keys. He handed it over to me. I got in the driver's seat and drove off.

His harsh words were just ringing in my ears, I didn't even realise that my tears were flowing down my cheeks until I suddenly stopped the car when a few kids threw some powdered colour on my car. It made me think back to the past when I met Jungkook for the first time.

Flashback: (Author's pov)

(after Jungkook threw her in the pool in part 2)

Y/n looks for her glasses in the pool and begins to cry when she can't find them.

Seeing this, Jungkook gets into the water and gives her specs, and says

"Aww, don't mind these small things, they happen a lot in these big universities" and smirks.

Y/n just pushes him aside, Jungkook just walks away, smirking, while Y/n keeps looking at his walking form, in anger.

Flashback ends.

Jungkook's POV:

I was sitting near the Han river with Hoseok drinking soju. But I know that he's not going to stay silent for long,

"Don't start with your lecture cause I don't want it" I say so that he would just shut his mouth.

"Really?? Yah! Jungkook, Where did the lecture come from? Bruh, I'm your friend and I would only wish good things for you. Whatever happened at the party was not right," he says, but I just continue to drink and watch the river ahead of me.

"Jungkook, it's been 7 years, wounds get cured, people change and she also changed bro. She has moved on in life. You can also forget about it and move on, Jungkook. What's the big deal, huh? And I saw in the party, how you took her by her arm with you. What would have happened if anyone had seen you at that time, huh? "

"So?? So, what do you think?You know me that well, Hobi. What do you think? That I would you write, compose, and sing a welcome song for her? I shake her hand and say "nice to meet you, ma'am, let's work in peace and harmony. Is it? My foot, " I say, getting irritated."

"Bro, try to understand; try to see things from my perspective."

"I don't want to !!!! I don't want to see anything. She's already showing me how much she has grown. That's it. To hell with it, " I say, cutting him off.

We stay silent for a minute or so.

"Okay then, leave it, y-you just relax, let's just not discuss this." He says

"You just tell me one thing that, are you on her side or mine ?? Choose now!!" I asked him

"W-what?? Yah, Jungkook, what type of question is that bro??"

"You just tell me, HER or ME??"I asked him again, getting angry.

"Jungkook, you're asking me to divide the friendship bruh..."

I just got up and left, ignoring him.

Time Skip:

I reach home and park my jeep in front of the gates.

"Oh, Jungkook you're early!! "Let's have dinner together," my mom says, coming near me, but I just ignore her and move towards the dining table and start to put the food on my plate, standing.

But I also know that someone won't keep their mouth shut or live me in peace and that someone is

My so-called "DAD"

"sIr..."he says with sass and I look at him.

"This is a house and not a buffet counter, so sit properly and have food." I just tried to ignore him and started to eat my food.

I said to my mom, I came early because I was missing these manner lessons too much, " I said to my mom, taunting *that* someone.

"What are you looking at my face? Dear wifey, won't you serve the sweets? We have two brand new pieces of good news."

I know where the fuck he was going with that, but I just stayed silent and ate.

"Okay..so the first good news is, that Jungkook met his ex-wife after years." I freeze for a moment then continue eating.

"And the second amazing news is that, his ex-wife came back to his office as HIS BOSS," he says and starts to laugh.

"Oh, so you found out about it, huh?" Why, did she come after taking your blessing, DAD??" I say this with a not-so-happy smile on my face.

"If she had come to me, then she wouldn't have left with empty hands." I just stay silent, trying to focus on my food.

"During the divorce, I gave her 100 million dollars, Jungkook. Don't forget that." he continues.

I just sat my plate down on the table, threw one hateful glare at my dad and one at my mom, and walked away to my room.

Author's POV: ( a lot of place switching is ahead)

Y/n was sitting on a bin bag in her room thinking about the party scene and Jungkook's hateful words. She didn't even realise that her tears were pouring out. But a sudden knock on her room door snaps her out of her trance, and she wipes her tears off when she hears her mom's voice and says "Come in."

"How's your day today at the new office??" her mom asks her.

"It was good. People were nice there, and everything was good. She replied to her mom while trying to set her books aside and try to act normal.

"And what about Jungkook ?"

"There's nothing about him mom, Jungkook was my past and so there was no need to give him any importance," she says as she stares out the window at the moon, fighting back tears that were streaming down her cheeks.

"Crying isn't a bad thing hun, it helps you to get over the pain, let it out baby," her mom says and Y/n immediately hugs her mom and sobs hard in her arms.

Back At Jungkook's House:

Jungkook's mom gets his food in his room and asks him to eat. She tries to feed him, but Jungkook just snaps her hand away.

"No mom!! Can you please leave me alone for a while? All you do is food and food every day, and your husband has already ruined my dinner." Jungkook becomes enraged and yells at her mother.

With that, his mom walks out of his room.

Back to Y/n's Place:

"I told you before that this would be really hard, but it's not the end. Leave this job, hun," y/n's mom says.

"Just because Jungkook is in that office doesn't mean that I need to give him any importance. I don't want to fight with him, mom. I just want to get over all the past ."

Jungkook's house:

Jungkook realises that what he did to his mom just a while ago was not right and feels guilty about it. He walks out of his room into his mom's and sees that she was crying and feels guilty.

He goes to his mom, holds her hand, makes her sit on the sofa, and kneels in front of her holding her hand and saying

"I'm sorry mom, I-I was just- I don't know mom, I'm sorry for what I did please forgive me my cute, sweet and beautiful mom, and stop crying please" I give her my puppy eyes with a pout because I know that works the best on her ;)

"Okay okay, you brat!! Just don't do it again, and now have your food, " his mom says.

Jungkook agrees and starts to eat.

"So...how's Y/n??"

Y/n 's place:

"Mom, one day will come when I will get used to it and Jungkook won't even matter at all, and tomorrow will be a new day, "Y/n says to her mom.

Jungkook's house;

"Mom, today I wasn't ready to welcome her, but tomorrow will be a new day and I will welcome her in my complete Jungkook style," Jungkook says to his mom and smirks.
