Y/n POV:-

I was in my office with Hoseok leaning on my table listening to me ramble on and on about howJungkook was being unreasonable and what he did was just so frustrating.

"No Hobi, it's not done . How can he just present our story in front of the world and not forget about what he did here a while ago."

"Girl, you know how Jungkook is; all the logic and reasons don't work with Jungkook."

"Really?? Is he some kind of superhero or what that he can do whatever or whenever??" I say this while rolling my eyes at him, to which he just chuckles, shaking his head.

"Yah, tell me one thing. You have been friends with him for what like 10-11 years. How did you manage to handle him boi?"

I asked him, leaning forward on the table with curiosity.

But then I realised,

"Why am I telling you this? You just befriended him, and I married him."I say, look down.

Oh God I feel so annoyed at myself.

"Ahem ahem, so in that case, who's the biggest crack here, you or me?" Hobi questions me in a playful way.

I look at him grinning, remembering what I used to do at university.

"See, I think you're feeling a little better now, hmm, and even if not now, then you can think of me as Jungkook and curse me out a little more. I won't mind. "

He wiggles his brows, which makes me laugh out loud.

"You're crazy Hobi, you haven't changed at all. You always used to come sit beside me in college whenever I was upset and I used to take all my anger out on you." I smile at him.

"Hello, I'm Hoseok, a 27-year old free punching bag. Come and take out all your piled up anger on me and, in return, just get some peace." He jokes about bowing down in the end.

"HOSEOK... S-T-O-B... I-T, "

Now that's why he's called the sunshine and hope, he knows what to say when.

"By the way, I'm going to the cafeteria. Want to tag along?"

"Nah, it's fine, I'll go later, you carry on." I say, turning to my computer.

"Okay then," he says and turns around to walk out.

"Y/n, not all memories are bitter. You know that, right? Some of them are beautiful and sweet too. I mean, the story about you both in his show? " I sigh, looking down, then turn to face him.

"Every memory is beautiful and sweet, Hoseok, but only till it starts to give pain." I said to him.

"Sure, okay, see ya later, buddy." He walks out.

Author's POV:-

Jungkook was walking to his jeep outside the office when he felt someone pushing something on his back .

"Hands up in the air, boy," the voice says. Jungkook raises his hands up slowly.

" Gimme your wallet, NOW!!" the voice demands.

"Umm, how am I supposed to take my wallet from my jeans pocket when you told me to keep my hands raised? The wallet can't fly now, can it?" Jungkook asks, sighing.

"DON'T TRY TO ACT SMART WITH ME, YOU KID." The voice yells.

"I'm not acting smart," He turns around, snatching the beer bottle from the hands of none other than his college bestie.

IU.

"I am already a so damn smart baby," he grins at her as he picks her up, spins her around, and sets her down when she begs him to stop.

"Oh please, you're a loser, not a smart thought. It's another thing that I love losers." IU says, pinching his cheeks.

"By the way, I heard that Y/n came back. Is it true?" She asks him to look at him.

Jungkook just opens the beer bottle and chucks it, ignoring her question.

"Can I meet her??" she asks him again..

Jungkook smirks and says

"Look, neither she's my wife nor are you , so you don't need to ask for my gate pass to meet her. You can go in and meet her." Ara rolls her eyes at him and say

"Why can't you just say something normal, Jungkook? Why do you always have to say it in a twisted way, huh?"

Jungkook just smirks and goes on his way while IU walks into the office and waits in the lobby, looking around when she notices Y/n who was talking to Jennie about some work.

"Y/N!!" she calls her out.

Y/n looks in the direction of the source of the voice and starts talking to Jennie when she notices whose voice it was avoiding her completely.

IU continues to call y/n's name out and walks towards her and stands behind, until y/n finishes her talk with Jennie and Jennie walks away bowing to both of them.

"Y/n." IU calls her once again, and this time Y/n turns around, facing her.

"You're ignoring me." IU states, crossing her arms.

"N-no I w-wasn't I was just.." y/n stutters but stops when IU gives her a stern look.

Actually, yes. Y/n sighs out loud.

"Why??? What fight did we have? You haven't even once called or messaged me in the last 7 years. I thought you would even forget my beautiful face." She pouts.

"Oh come on, it's nothing like that." Y/n laughs and hugs IU, who returns it with a happy smile.

"How are you??" Y/n asks her to pull out of the hug.

"How do I look?" IU asks, twirling around once.

"As always, beautiful." Y/n replies, shaking her head and laughing.

"That I have been since I was born," IU says, winking at Y/n

"Oh, by the way, all of our friends are going to Lake Point in the evening."IU tells her.

"Oh nice, who is all going to go?"

"Umm, it's just me, you, Hobi, and... Jungkook." IU smiles at her.

"I-I can't tag along hun. I was just appointed here. I have a lot of work to-." Y/n tries to make an excuse by looking away.

"Oh come on Y/n, you also know that work isn't the problem, but Jungkook definitely is." Y/n sighs, looking down.

"You, girl, are such a liar and that too a really bad one. Look, I'm gonna just say one thing, the ending of one relationship doesn't mean that you have to end every other relationship too. Not for Jungkook, but can you at least come for me, please? " IU pleads holding y/n's hands.

"Some other time, hun"

"Listen, we'll just go there in the evening and we'll be back by night too. It's just a 2 hour journey, that's it. Please y/nie. " IU asks one more time.

Y/n just smiles at her.

Time Skip (EVENING)

At the lake point:

Jungkook, IU, and Hoseok were sitting near the lake on the ramp.

Hobi was playing the guitar. Jungkook and IU were drinking beer.

" This is nice right, perfect sunset, perfect weather, and perf-."

"Perfect background music" Hobi completes Jungkook's sentence.

"Right!! And a perfect NO. If she were to come here on your invitation, then we would all have poison instead of a beer bottle in our hands. " Jungkook says he's wrapping an arm around IU's neck.

"Shut up Jungkook, I have seen her after so many years and she used to be my bestie in college. You know that."

IU says, pushing Jungkook away, rolling her eyes.

"IU, if she used to be your so called best friend, then she used to be my wife too but now she isn't right, so there's a lot of difference between was and is right now."

Jungkook asks Hobi and IU, who nod their heads in agreement with him.

"And by the way, she doesn't have the guts to even see me out other than the office." Jungkook says, looking at the sunset.

IU looks behind Jungkook and then turns to Jungkook.

"So, braveness, huh?? Jungkook: What if she really has some guts and comes here? Then ??"she asks him.

"Not a chance, hun, not a chance because she doesn't have any." Jungkook says, smirking.

IU pats his back and says..

"Kook, our great ancestors have said one thing. Think before you wish, now turn around, boy, turn around. " She sings out turning Jungkook's head.

They all three turn around and see Y/n getting out of her car and walking towards them .

Jungkook spits out the beer that was in his mouth, and Hobi removes his sunglasses while IU is laughing her ass out at Jungkook 's reaction.

They all get up from their seats, Hobi and IU go forward to hug Y/N. While Jungkook was staring at her, smirking.

"She's daring." Jungkook blurts out, catching everyone's attention.

"Guys, enjoy the sunset. This is so awesome, wow," IU and Hobi say, trying to avoid the tension there..

"People, lets take some selfies, cool??"

IU asks and Hobi nods, taking his phone out, and they click some selfies, changing their positions every now and then. During the last one, which they didn't realise was Jungkook and Y/n were standing so close that Y/n could even feel Jungkook's breath on her neck and he could smell her shampoo smell, vanilla , that he once used to love so much and still does but won't accept.

Time Skip (After Sunset):-

Y/n was standing near the edge of the ramp made on the lake (I don't know what it's called so ignore it)

Staring at nothing, lost in her own world while others were doing their thing near the lake shore.

After a while, Jungkook walks over to Y/n sneakily and

"You can jump or do you need help?? You see, I can happily help you with that!! "

He whispers in her ear, snapping her out of her thoughts. She rolls her eyes at him and turns around to walk away, but trips over an empty beer bottle, but Jungkook catches her.

"Be careful, babygirl; if something bad happens to you here, everyone will blame me."

Jungkook says, lowly smirking at her.

"I have moved on to Jungkook, I don't understand why you're still standing there."

Y/n pushes Jungkook away and walks over to her handbag, which is sitting on a chair.

"Oh, so it's like that, huh?" Okay. then, guys.

Jungkook shouts, catching Hoseok's and IU's attention.

"Y/N WANTS TO PLAY TRUTH AND DARE LIKE WE USED TO PLAY BEFORE, SHALL WE??"

Jungkook tells them.

"Oh hello, I didn't say anything about it."

Jungkook just ignores her and walks over to his other friends who were waiting .

Y/n huffs and then follows him and takes another seat opposite to Jungkook.

"This is gonna be fun. Okay, everyone knows the rules right now. I'll spin the bottle now. " IU says and spins the bottle, which lands on Hoseok, who didn't notice it because he was playing his guitar.

"Umm Hobi, it landed on you." Y/n says, which catches his attention.

"Okay, I'm gonna ask you a question. So, tell us, is it true that you used to have a crush on Y/n when she newly joined our college??"

IU asks him smirking at him.

Y/n rolls her eyes at IU not ignoring her and Jungkook raises his brow at his friend , Hobi.

" Y-you little dipshit." Haobi glares at IU.

"Umm... I-I..used to have a tiny-winy, baby crush on you for the first 6 months, but my little crush got crushed when you and Jungkook started dating, so I stopped. Please don't be mad at your hope."

Hobi blurts it out, and Y/n is taken aback by his admission; IU is rolling on the ground laughing her a$$ off, and Jungkook simply looks away and chugs his beer.

IU calms down a bit after a while and spins the bottle again, which lands on Y/n..

"Okay, I'll ask you a question," IU says.

"Yah, go get me another beer !!" "Jungkook IU says.

IU smacks his head. "WHAT TH- GO GET YOUR OWN BEER, I'M NOT GONNA GO KOOK"

"OWW, won't you do this much for me?" he pouts, and IU grunts before walking away to get his beer, rolling her eyes.

Jungkook scoots over to where IU was sitting ( near Y/n) and whispers,

"How do I look???? I know that you, babygirl, are still crazy for me." Jungkook winks at her.

"Are you drunk or what?" Y/n asks, rolling her eyes.

"Tsk Tsk, It's written on your face. I know what's going on in that little brain of yours, but you won't say it. I know you very well, baby girl. " Jungkook smirks .

"Oh really??" Y/n makes fun of.

"You remember this place??It's the same place where you, for the first time, kissed me. " Jungkook says this while looking at her, while Y/N looks away, trying to hide the blush on her cheeks.

"Yah, do you want to kiss me again, don't you? Tell me, tell me." Jungkook says, leaning close to Y/n.

"That's it!!!" Y/n pushes him away, grabs her handbag, and walks over to her car.

"Y/n!!!!"Where are you going??" IU comes over to Y/n and asks her.

"Nothing, it's just that it's really late and I need to leave. Umm, see you later." Y/n claims

"Did Jungkook say anything??? Jungkook !!!" she calls him.

"I didn't say anything. She has a job to go to tomorrow. That's it." Jungkook replies, drinking his beer.

"Umm..okay, atleast go with us. Me, you, Hobi, and Jungkook in his jeep . He can drop you off at your flat. Please please please don't say no please??" IU enters a plea, and a drunk Hobi also comes over to the girls and asks Y/n for the same.

"O-okay." Sighs Y/n

And with that, all of them pack up and go on their way, with IU and Hobi sitting in the back singing with Jungkook,

Y/n in the front, reminiscing about the old time they spent together, how happy they both used to be.

Jungkook looks over at Y/n, remembering the time when he shouted "I LOVE YOU Y/N" from the top of their college.

Y/n looks over at Jungkook and catches him already staring at her. They both blush and look away..

Y/n POV:-

Maybe it wasn't that bad coming here...

Jungkook POV:

Maybe it was that bad, that she came along...

Phew ..a long chapter and such a cutieeess they all are..

The love is blossoming again I guess.
