Jungkook was checking all the instruments in the recording room along with other people one last time before they go AIR.

Just then, Jin's wife, Laila, comes in, followed by Y/n , though Y/n just halts near the door.

"KOOKIE!!"

Laila goes straight to Jungkook and gives him a big bear hug and then hands him a shot glass filled with ginger juice.

"You bunny, have this. This will help to clear up your throat more."

She says this before giving him an ear-to-ear big smile.

"Aww, noona, thank you so much. By the way, how are you?"

Jungkook asks her before chugging up the ginger shot.

"I'm amazing as always."She says and throws a wink at him playfully.

"Yeah yeah, I know, you're always amazing, noona. By the way , did you meet Ms. No Mrs. N-no Ms.um.. whatever, Ms. Y/n.??" Jungkook says, smirking at Y/n.

"Oh of course I did, we met in the lobby. She's such a beauty, isn't she?? Though she smiles very little though. "

Laila says, smiling sweetly at Y/n, which Y/n just sends her a small smile.

"Oh come on Noona, I know she's pretty and all, but not more than you. Your heart is so beautiful and you are pretty too ;)"

Jungkook says, giving her his signature bunny smile.

"Uwu, you cutie, but-but-but how dare you just flirt with your hyung's wife, huh, you kid?"

Laila scolds him playfully, twisting his ear.

"Okay fine, I mean, who wouldn't like it when it comes from you?" she scoffs and lets go of his ear.

"I'll just go look for you hyung now. He must be going crazy because I'm here. "

She says and walks out the door before patting Y/n on her shoulder.

Jungkook takes his seat.

"Okay guys, show time" and with that they go AIR.

Y/n was still there watching him.

"Hey, Army!! So here we are with a new night, new thoughts, new style but the same story. It's a little old but real. "

Y/n just gives him one last glance before turning around to leave, but halts her steps when Jungkook continues.

"This storey started 7 years ago, in Busan. It is the story of a guy who used to know how to live life happily in synch with his heartbeat, in which his life was music and love."

Y/n turns around, closing the door, and stares at Jungkook .

"But the girl, the girl was an old stereo type, grumpy, sad, who only knew how to live with her mind. No adjustment, no synch with hearT, she only came with mind and some dreams connected with mind."

Jungkook says, throwing a glance at Y/n before looking at the camera.

"So, two different people, two different personalities. The girl was boring but the guy, he was a rockstar, as for girl, I don't know who she was like, but the guy, definitely just like me."

Jungkook then starts to sing, just like when he used to during college, where it was like a whole concert type feeling.

Jungkook says, "finishing off the show," and smiles innocently at Y/n, who glares at him in return and walks out the door.

At a café:~

Jungkook's mom and Y/M/N were sitting in a café ordering food.

"One cold coffee and two brownies, and yeah, don't forget to add more chocolate sprinkles on top."

Y/M/N says while Jungkook's mom looks at her almost gasping.

"And for you, ma'am," the waiter asks Jungkook's mom.

"Umm..I'll have one coffee please, thank you" she says and turns to Y/m/n after the waiter leaves.

"By the way, how much sugar do you run on nowadays, huh?"

Jungkook's mom asks her to lean forward on the table in a playful way.

"Jungkook's mom, sweet things are going around in my life, a little bit of sugar would kind of increase. Well, fasting is 120 normally but it goes around 200 after I eat something."

Y/m/n says, sheepishly smiling.

"And even after all this, you ordered this much sugary food, you already know that sweet foods are not okay for you, y/m/n."

Jungkook's mom says, shaking her head.

Just then, the waiter brings their orders and places them in front of them, then leaves.

"You know what's not good for a mom? It's seeing her daughter being sad alone, seeing her cry while hiding, and you know what, I kind of got hope when Jungkook came home. It's a good thing, so obviously sweets are a must. "

Y/m/n says, giving Jungkook's mom a small smile.

"Do you really still have hope ?"

Jungkook's mom asks her.

"Yes, I do. Did you really think that Jungkook and Y/n would once again stand under the same roof, even though it was not the roof of their home, 7 years ago? "

Y/m/n asks Jungkook's mom to which she shakes her head as a no..

"No, and did you think that even after our children were separated, we'd still be together?""As in-laws and friends, we both moms maintain our relationship."

Y/m/n says and holds Jungkook's mom's hand and gives her a smile to which Jungkook's mom again shakes her head as a no.

"Then see, life has surprised us. I never thought Jungkook would come to my house ever again. Although just in a mischievous way, he still asked for my blessings."

Y/m/n says I'm getting emotional.

"Y/m/n, I think you have too much hope, don't you think?"

Jungkook's mom says to her.

"I have spent all my life alone. I just don't want my Y/n to have the same fate as me. Me and my sister are there for her now, but what will happen in the future, after us...? We all need someone in our lives, right? Even if it's not for love, let it be for arguments, but at least she'd have someone. " Y/m/n expresses herself.

Jungkook's mom gives her an assuring smile and says

"You know what, I think you are right about the sweet thing." and she takes one of the brownies from y/m/n.

"Of course I am"

Both the ladies laugh and carry on with their chat and food.
