Penelope replied.

"I was?" I asked. "Yeah." she said. "Oh well um." Was I blushing? I shook my head. I turned my gaze to the teacher. She blew her ear shattering whistle. We covered our ears.

"I said please welcome Sally and Bob, our new students!" Our teacher shouted. Sally and Bob bowed. A few people giggled when she said Bob. They only got one clap and that was from the teacher.

Of course to make matters worse they sat behind us. That blond bitch was full of lies and her boyfriend wasn't much better. How I used to be friend's with him and a boyfriend to her, I didn't know.

I could feel Sally breathing. The teacher turned to the board. She wrote on it. "Nice class." Sally whispered. Her voice sounded evil. "Yeah." Bob whispered.

" You can count on us to make it Hell." Sally whispered. "Just shut up." Penelope said to them. I didn't know why, but I took Penelope's hand and held it. I stared into space. "Um Jake." Penelope whispered. "Yeah?" I whispered back.

"Your holding my hand again." She said. "Am I?" I asked not looking at her. I couldn't decide whether this was awkward or not. "And your not looking at me." she added.

"Oh." I replied then I forced myself to look at her. " I am now." I said to her. "I guess. the class has just started and I want it to end right now." she whispered.

"Because of the couple made in Hell?" I asked. She nodded. "Let's tear this romance apart." Sally whispered. I felt teeth sink into my neck.

I felt a sharp pain. I let go of Penelope's hand. I touched the place on my neck where...Sally had bit me. "Omg Sally you're crazy!" Penelope said.

"I know right." she whispered happily. Penelope stood up looking angry and started attacking Sally . "MISS!" Sally screamed.

The teacher turned around immediately. "PENELOPE!SANCTION 2!" The teacher shouted. I gasped. "ISOLATION NOW!" She yelled. "Ok Miss." She grabbed her stuff. I felt an anger burn up inside me.

"NO MISS, SALLY BIT ME!" I shouted. I showed her my bite mark. "She was just defending me." I finished.

"I see unfortunately she still has to go but so does Sally.' The teacher replied. "Miss please an exception just this once an autistic kid needs their best friend." I said.

"Fine I guess your right. Penelope stay Sally go." she said. "but-" Sally protested. "GO!" She shouted. Sally packed up her stuff and left angrily. Bob gave me a death stare.

"Thanks for saving me.You shouldn't let Sally do that." Penelope said to me. I was sure I hated Sally with all my heart. "No problem. Anything for my best friend." I replied.
