Chapter 10: Excuses

"What if he hates me now?"

"What if he remembers and then he- he hate me to the point he didn't want me to visit him."

"Noona, why do you think he didn't want me to visit him? But he let Taegeuk, Namjoon hyung and Jimin hyung?"

"What if he realize he doesn't love me anymore?"

"What if... it's too late for me?"

"What if-"

"OH MY GOSH, KIM JUNGKOOK PLEASE CALM YOUR DICK, HE'S FINE! MAYBE HE JUST WANT SOME TIME ALONE." Taeyeon rolls her eyes.

Apparently, Taeyeon and Baekhyun suddenly barge in Taehyung's house. Seokjin is in the kitchen preparing dinner while Hoseok and Yoongi went out to buy some ice cream Taeyeon wanted.

"JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE PREGNANT DOESN'T MEAN I CAN BITCH SLAP YOU-"

"OH MY- CAN YOU AT LEAST FORGET WHAT HAPPEN THREE YEARS AGO-"

"HOW THE HELL CAN I-"

"KIM FUCKING JEON STUPID JUNGKOOK. YOU HAVE TAEHYUNG ALL YOU WANT. Now please, keep calm and wait for your prince charming."

Jungkook huffs as he pace around the living room for the nth time. He got a big problem because:

A. Kim Taehyung avoids him earlier in the hospital.

B. Taehyung choose Taegeuk, Namjoon and Jimin over him.

C. They went to mall WITHOUT HIM. ("Uhh, Kookie. I need to go to the mall with them. It's okay, you can leave.")

D. Baekhyun prefers to eat in the kitchen instead of shutting his wife's mouth.

E. He's liking the 'Kim Jungkook' too much.

He's worried and irritated at the same time. Like what the hell? His boyfriend, correction, Ex-but-still-love-him-and-he-just-want-him-back-boyfriend is out and he told Jungkook to leave. (For Jungkook its like, "Leave me alone, bitch.") He ignore the noise when the door open but a certain horse can't keep his mouth shut.

"Hyung, I wonder if Namjoon would actually help Taehyung buy a ring-" Hoseok stop when he notice the fuming Jungkook standing in front of him.

"WHAT RING?! WHAT FOR?"

"Please, don't kill me! I want to find my one and only too and I just-"

"WHAT THE FUCK HYUNG, TELL ME!"

"Jungkook..." Yoongi started, he hands the plastic bag to Taeyeon and she runs to the kitchen. "You didn't hear anything."

Jungkook blinks. What?!

"YES, YOU DIDN'T HEAR ME SAYING THAT NAMJOON MIGHT NOT HELP TAEHYUNG PICK A RING FOR-"

Yoongi covers Hoseok's mouth and walk past Jungkook, who's hella confused. As Yoongi walks by, he whispered to Jungkook. "Swag, kid."

"The amber one! It says it is considered a good luck charm for love and marriage." Jimin reads the small note beside the ring. Taehyung shake his head and reply, "Do you think we need a lucky charm when I'm already lucky meeting him?"

Namjoon pretends to puke while Jimin covers Taegeuk's ears. "Oh god, I don't think Taegeuk needs to hear your sappiness.

"The diamond, sir?" Namjoon points at the shimmering ring. He squints his eyes and read the note, "It's a stone that bonds relationships and enhances love."

Taehyung snort, "Jungkook's smile is brighter than a diamond. I don't need a stone because making him smile will enhance our love." The shortest male cringe, slapping Taehyung's back. "What the hell, Tae? Why are you so fu-" he looks down at Taegeuk, "freaking cheesy? heh."

Namjoon roll his eyes. He regret agreeing with Taehyung last night. He just want to cuddle next to Jin while watching a drama the elder likes. He spotted a ring and it has a gem with bright shade of green. "Tae, the emerald?" Taehyung quickly hover over the glass and looks back at Namjoon. "It's the same gem in the ring I give for Jin when I ask him to marry me. Its a classic stone of love and romance, and is reputed to bring both passion and domestic bliss with unconditional love​-"

"Hyung, my love for Jungkook is unconditional."

Right at that moment, Jimin wants to flip all the table and then slam his head onto the wall real hard. He hands Taegeuk to Namjoon and drag his best friend to the side and points at random rings. "This one!"

"Garnet? It enhances sensuality, sexuality, and intimacy in a balanced fashion. As such, garnet is a stone of love and passion..." Jimin blinks and read the same thing. Did he just...

"I think you want it for Yoongi hyung." Taehyung pouts, "plus, I can make Jungkook cum with tou-"

"OH MY GOD TAE, WE'RE IN PUBLIC!"

"Then don't shout at my face!" Taehyung huffs turning around.

Taegeuk points at a ring beside him, "What about this daddy?"

"Jade? It can attract and enhance love of all kinds." Namjoon read out loud.

Taehyung sighs and look around one last time. It's the fifth store and it's almost dinner time. He suddenly wants to go home and cuddle with Jungkook all night along. He found himself staring at a pendant. The saleslady walks in front of him and points at the said item. "Sir, that's Celestite which is also known as Celestine. It was said to be an angelic stone." The saleslady unlock the glass from behind the counter and hand the pendant to Taehyung. "Tradition has it that celestite has been given consciousness raising and guidance powers from the angels."

Taehyung ignore the bickering Namjoon and Jimin about Emerald is better than Garnet. He stares at the pendant and smile, he pulls out his credit card from his pocket and hand it to the saleslady. "I'll buy it."

Jungkook literraly threw himself to Taehyung once the front door open, revealing his honeybunch. Taehyung was shock, but he quickly wrap his arms around Jungkook's body. "What's wrong, kookie?"

"I thought you hate me-"

"I don't hate you."

Jungkook hums in respond. He notice the way Taehyung look at Namjoon and Jimin knowingly. There's something wrong and he's itching to know so he did what he's not supposed to do in front of his friends (and future daughter). He pecks the elder's lips. Then he did it again, and again and again. Taehyung was too shocked to even think but his body acts first. Before he knew it, he's cupping Jungkook's face and kissing him passionately. Nope, Jungkook didn't expect this, but he let his hyung, his dear Taehyung, his hubby, taste his mouth. He feels like crying because he actually thought the elder will push him away because Jungkook is disguting. (That's what Jungkook thought when he kissed the guy who can't even remember him.)

"Excuse me love birds, i think I want to puke."

Jungkook quickly pulls away, turning his back towards Taehyung. The elder just chuckle and casually slings his arm around Jungkook's shoulder, "Aww, my wife is shy."

And for a moment, Jungkook wants to scream. Does this mean he remembers everything? Did he just call me 'my wife'?

Taeyeon gasp dramatically, pointing her index finger at Taehyung accusingly. "Y-YOU REMEMBER EVERYTHING?" Taehyung raise his eyebrows, "What? Just because I called him wife doesn't mean I remember."

Jungkook feels like frowning so he did.

After dinner, Taeyeon and Baekhyun left first. Then the rest left except for Jin and Namjoon. The eldest wants to tuck in Taegeuk and he even volunteered to wash the dishes. (But actually, Jin jusrt want to see his cousin, Taehyung, propose to Namjoon's brother, Jungkook. He might caught Taehyung stutter or something that he could use to blackmail the said guy in the future.) After an hour, they decided to leave. Finally.

Right now, Jungkook is awkwardly sitting at the edge of the bed. Its like his first time sleeping next to Taehyung, who's in the bathroom, Jungkook was nervous. His palms are sweaty and his heart beats so fast it might come out his mouth in a second. And it almost happen when the bathroom's door open, his honeybunch a.k.a Taehyung walk out, fresh from the shower. As the elder walk to the other side of bed and climb on it, he could smell the strawberry scented shampoo. He felt something poke his back and his head slowly look at Taehyung, calmly laying in the bed.

"Are you going to just sit there?"

Jungkook shake his head and crawl next to his hyung. He bite back the smile that's threatening to split into his face as he felt the elder snuggle closer to him.

"Sing for me, Kookie." For a minute, Jungkook stayed silent. Of course, Taehyung wants to hear him sing first. He can't even think how to properly ask the younger, heck, he didn't even know how  to start the romantic athmosphere. "Okay then. I'm going to sing instead." Jungkook nods and turns to his side to burry his face on Taehyung's chest. The elder didn't pull away or flinch so he even nuzzle his nose on the soft fabric of Taehyung's shirt.

"You're my honeybunch, sugarplum..." 

Jungkook can feel his hyung's fingers playing with his hair.

"Pumpy-umpy-umkin.."

Taehyung remove his hand on the younger's hair to hold his chin and lift it until their eyes met.

​"You're my sweetie pie.."

The elder smile cutely which make Jungkook's heart to do backflips.

"You're my cuppycake, gumdrop,"

He lean forward until their nose touch.

"Snoogums, boogums, You're.." 

Taehyung peck both Jungkook's eyes.

"The apple of my eye.."

It's Jungkook's turn to smile and blush furiously at Taehyung's simple yet sweet gesture.

"And I love you so, and I want you to know that I'll always be right here.."

Taehyung points at Jungkook's left chest, where his heart is beating so fast, screaming the elder's name. God, he's so mushy.

"And I love to sing sweet songs to you.."

The elder lift his hand to caress Jungkook's cheeks. He can clearly see the tears forming on the latter's eyes.

"Because.."

He peck his nose.

"You.."

His cheeks.

"Are.."

His forehead.

"So.."

Then his lips.

"Dear."

The elder smile and capture the younger's lips for a longer kiss. God knows how much he missed this. How much he missed Jungkook. How much he wanted to keep him in his arms and just kiss him breathlessly. And Jungkook is thinking the same thing. Tears uncontrollably roll down his face down to the soft pillows. He's idiot for living his hyung. He didn't trust him three years ago. Now he's wondering, what might have happen to them if the accident three years ago didn't happen. As if reading his mind, Taehyung said, "If the accident three years ago didn't happen, maybe you get tired of me." He chuckles, "Then you'll find someone else. And no Jungkook, I don't regret anything that happen, heck, i never blame you." He wipe the tears, smiling softly. 

"I'm glad this happen, and i fall for you for the second time. Wow, I don't know what you have but..." Jungkook hiccups, he cover his mouth to muffle the noise. "You're ruining the moment, Jeon." The younger's choked sobs and their laughs echoed through the room, the younger lightly pushing the Taehyung's chest while pouting.

"As I was saying, I don't know what you have but you make this Handsome, Hot, Smart, Wonderful, Sexy-" The younger groan in disapproval, making the other laugh. "I mean, duh. It's Kim to the Tae to the Hyung. You, Jeon Jungkook, make me fall head over heels. I don't regret it either."

They stare lovingly at each other before Taehyung told him to turn around. "Why?" He shrugs. "I don't want to see your ugly face." Jungkook frowns but he still turn around, his back facing his hyung.

Taehyung dig in his pocket and pull out the necklace he brought earlier. The sole reason he ignored the younger that morning. He quickly place it around Jungkook's neck and the said guy gasp inaudibly when he felt the cold metal touch his skin. "Remember when I go out with the boys earlier?"

Jungkook nods, "I was about to buy a ring, but Jimin and Namjoon keep arguing about this and that. And I can't find anything more beautiful than your eyes." Taehyung chuckles to himself, he's sure if one of their friends are here, they'll cringe and die because of too much cheesiness of Kim Taehyung.

"But then I found this," He finished clasping the ends together and he turn the younger, nuzzling their nose together. "The saleslady said it's an angelic stone. She also said something about guidance powers from the angels. Remember, I told you I'll be your guardian angel." Jungkook nods again, unable to find his own voice. He's afraid it'll just crack if he dare to speak. "And I want to.. I want to be your guardian angel until we're old. Forever- if forever exist, then I want to be your guardian angel."

"What I was saying is... Jeon Jungkookie, will you marry me?"

"Wait, you remember everything? As in, everything?"

Taehyung mentally face palm. He's marrying a great moment ruiner.

"I mean yes! Of course I'll marry you just because you're Handsome, Hot, Smart, Wonderful, Sexy-"

"Jungkook-"

"And because I love you. Another thing, Taegeuk, Jungkook. Seriously Tae? You love me that much that even you don't remember me, you named our daughter after us-"

"Shut up." Now, it's Taehyung who's blushing furiously. He hide his head at the crook of Jungkook's head. The latter giggle softly placing a kiss on the elder's temple.

"I love you, wifey."

"I love you, hubby. So much."

OMFG *cries a han river* IT'S DONE. MY FIRST TAEKOOK FANFIC IS OFFICIALLY DONE. AND I'M SO DONE TOO. I got distracted by twitter every 5 minutes and the three hours of writing this turns into 2 days XD AND APPARENTLY, I'M LISTENING TO "STILL INTO YOU" BY PARAMORE WHILE WRITING THIS HUEHUEHUE. I MIGHT WRITE A SPECIAL CHAPTER SOON ;D

 I'll get a lot more busier so i decided to finish this first before updating the www.bangtanboys.cum.

BUT TBVH I HAVE A CRAZY PLOTS LINE IN MY HEAD FOR TWO DIFFERENT STORIES. IDK MAYBE I'LL WRITE IT SOON? HUEHUEHUE IT'LL BE VKOOK, YOONMINHOPE AND NAMJIN AS ALWAYS ouo
