Aliona had to be told about Jim returning. She could keep it secret for however long it needed to be kept secret. I phoned her.
After a long time, her phone was picked up. "Hello? This is Aliona's phone"

"You're not Aliona, though." I said.

"No, do you want to speak with her?" the girl asked.

"Well, I was maybe wanting to speak to Lucifer, so I just happened to phone Aliona." I said.

"Hmm." She laughed "I often get the two mixed up, don't worry." then she called to someone else, "Hey, Parabatai! It's for you!"

"Of course it's for me." Came Aliona's voice. "It's my phone."
She obviously took her phone off the other girl. "Hey, Kirsty." she sounded a lot older than she had a few seconds before. "Seb's ok, now, right?"

"Yes.. He's fine, bit shocked, but because of something else- that's why I phoned. Look, there's something kind of important I have to tell you. I'd prefer to tell you to your face, but.."

"Just tell me."

"You probably won't believe me, if you don't I'll get him on the phone.."

"Get on with it, I've got a mountain of prep to do."

"School's a right pain, isn't it?" I said. "Anyway, Jim's back."

"What?!?"

"He's back. He faked it. Look, I'll.." I heard a crash, and then the other girl's voice.

"She tripped over her trunk. And may have fainted... What did you tell her?"

"nothing. When she comes round get her to phone me again."

"Sure. It's Jem, by the way."

"Yeah, well, thanks." I hung up.

Less than five minutes later, my phone rang again. "You better not be kidding me!" Aliona said. 

"I'm not. Look, I'll get him." I ran downstairs, and found Jim in the basement. "It's Aliona." I said, handing him the phone.

He took it. "Hello."

I could hear Aliona scream from where I was standing.
"You complete and utter plum! What in Tartarus were you thinking? Just you wait until the holidays!"

"I'm sorry, Aliona." Jim muttered "It was the best thing to do to protect you."

"I don't care if you did it to protect the Queen! You could have told me, sonofabitch!" Aliona shouted.

"Aliona.." Jim warned.

"No. This time you're going to listen to me. You even think of doing that again, and you will find out the new meaning of pain." Aliona growled.

"Ok."

"I missed you." Aliona suddenly said.

"Yeah, I missed you too." Jim said. "Bye."
