Chapter 11.3
Dedication: _sparkyintheforest_
Moriarty sat on the sofa and looked around, but then disaster struck.
"Aliona. What is a camera doing there?" He called.
"Just an experiment..." Aliona shouted.
"Filming me? Who the HELL do you think you are?"
"Aliona Moriarty. Your niece, assistant, personal fairy princess, and self- proclaimed Queen of Hell. You?"
Seb and I snorted.
Moriarty opened his mouth to say something, but Seb got there first. "He's my boyfriend, and that's the best title anyone can have."
Aliona made a noise of approval, and yelled "I WILL SHIP IT 'TILL IT SINKS!"
"Calm down!" Seb said. "Considering I think we might have hit an iceberg.."
Moriarty shifted uncomfortably. "Yeah. About that. Just sit down, all of you."
We did.
"I'm, er, pretending to go out with a girl called Molly Hooper. That way I get close to a man called Sherlock Holmes. A monster, and my only adversary. But he's on the side of the angels. He will plot our destruction, unless I plot his first.
So I get to him, find his weakness, and then we're fine. He is the only man who has ever got close to us, and he can't be allowed to continue."
"But why can't you just shoot him, and be done with it?" Seb asked.
"Because his brother practically runs the country from the family estate. We would be exposed, and I can't let that happen. No, we have to make him be the cause of his downfall, and then he has to end it. It will be a brilliant game, while it lasts, and it will be beneficial for us."
"Fine." Seb sighed. "Do what you have to do. Just so long as you're home every night."
"What, are you planning something?" Moriarty asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Not while we're in the house!" Aliona pointed out, indicating to us.
"No," Seb muttered to Moriarty. "I just don't want her, Molly, to have more of you than necessary. Although, now you mention it.."
"Eww! Just no! Guys. Please. Shut up now?" I said, repeatedly hitting my head against a cushion.
Seb laughed, leaning against Jim slightly.
"And, Aliona? Don't put the video on YouTube." Jim smiled.
"Do you think I'm idiotic enough to do that? In it you practically admitted to getting me, by the way, to shoot grandfather."
"Yeah, but you may have thought about cutting that bit out, and posting it." Jim said. "and don't get any ideas."
"Wouldn't dream of it." Aliona said, as Seb turned the tv on. Jim settled down to watch it, sitting with his legs across my brother's lap.
"Molly's only a mouse, anyway." he said. "I prefer tigers."
Aliona and I both cringed, before looking away when Seb and Jim started kissing again.
