Chapter Forty-Seven
The End Or The Beginning?
After calling Janna and explaining to her about everything they found. Janna promised that she would be there the next morning at 9 a.m
When Janna arrived, they showed her the papers and everything they found including the will that Shyra's father told her in the letter.
"This is amazing work but we will need to be careful with everything that we have. This might be our only chance to put them in jail for good," Janna says to them with a smile on her face. "And I can go to the court without any problem and the trial won't even last that long," she added giving them hope that they needed.
They discussed how they would approach everything and get Shyra's parents, the justice they deserved.
Just a little longer Shyra then the time to make a decision will be here and this would be better for everyone but I don't want to hurt...
"Shyra, are you listening?" Janna asks interrupting her chain of thoughts.
"Yes, I am fine just thinking of the trial. Will this be the end of everything?" Shyra asks her.
"Yes, it might be the end of everything that you have fought for and then it will your time to be happy, in shaa Allah. And maybe even think of your future," Janna says while looking at Imran who was on the phone with his parents and Ayra.
"What future? I dont have one, Janna..."
"Dont say that, Shyra. Everyone has one, even you," Janna says trying to assure her. "My story is similar to yours but a bit different. But I never lost hope that someone out there will love me just the way I am even with the faults I have," she added smiling as she remembered her life.
"Allah knows best but I hope that Imran gets the future he deserves to have in his life," Shyra says. "Dont worry about me, I will be fine and I will have the company to take over in two weeks. Thats when I turn 21 in shaa Allah," she added smiling.
It was only a matter of two weeks before Shyra would be named as the owner and CEO of her father's company. This has always been her dream but it won't be perfect with her father being there to guide her.
Meanwhile, Samir has been trying to talk to his mother and Wardah calmly concerning the issue of going to Shyra's house and threatening her to stay away from him.
"It isn't right what you two did. Why would you go there and slap her, mother?" He asked his mother who just stared at him. "And what's with you and telling people you are my fiancee? I will never marry someone like you. Not because of Shyra but because you have no class. How could you go into someone's house to threaten them? I can't even stand the both of you, right now. I can't believe this. I thought you and I could be friends and just friends but I dont know where you got the idea of us being together from?" he added angrily.
"Samir, you and I are compatible with each other. Shyra has been a used..."
"Shut up! How could you say something like that especially when you are a woman? And remember that it could happen to anyone and even to you. From today onwards you and I have no relationship," he yells at her before turning to face his mother. "Shyra has made a decision and thanks to you, she left me. You are a mother who has a teenage daughter. Put yourself in her shoes for once. What if it was Safra then? Would you slap her and tell her things? And as for me marrying Wardah, you can forget about that," he added before storming off and leaving the two women in shock.
When his mother heard her daughter's name she immediately felt something in her heart.
She had read the file that Shyra had given her and even investigated on her own to see if she was given the right information.
She was surprised to know that everything that was written was true and there was no fabricated story.
"Why did you go there? Didn't I tell you never to do that?" Samir's mother asks Wardah who is confused.
"Aunt, you promised that he would be mine, and now this..."
"Do you know that you are a cheap woman now in my son's eyes? A woman who doesn't even have class. I regret introducing you two. Because of your stupidity I might end up losing my son..."
"She could be lying..."
"I checked everything and what she said is the truth about everything that happened to her. She has sufficient evidence and I wish I never slapped her until I got to know the real story," she says to Wardah who is fuming with anger but keeps it inside.
Wardah didnt want her to know that she has started to hate Shyra ever since she heard and saw her.
She knew why Samir and that guy were in love with her. Shyra looked like someone who could be harmless and had a certain uniqueness in her.
Samir will be mine...
"Stop whatever you are thinking, Wardah. My son is a grown man who can make his decisions by himself. I regret forcing him to me other girls when I should've been investigating if what the allegation that Shyra had were real. I suggest you find someone esle to be obssessed about," Samir's mother tells her.
This shocked Wardah but she knew never to cross her.
In the coming days, Janna and her team started presenting all the evidence that Shyra's father had hidden and it was sufficient enough to make the trial last for two days.
"Now that we have come to an end of the trial. I have the verdict ready and Mr and Mrs. Amir, you have been found guilty and will be required to pay Shyra Adams the amount of money that you took from her from the time she was living with you. And I sentence to 4 years in prison. Case dismissed," the judge said shocking everyone in the courtroom including Shyra and Imran who looked at each other with a smile on their faces.
Alhamdulilah. This is what Shyra deserves to smile without any restriction and to be happy.
In the crowd, Samir's mother emerged and walked towards Shyra who was talking to Janna and thanking her and her team for what they did.
"Excuse me, could I please talk to you?" She asked Shyra who was surprised but she nodded and walked away from Janna.
"Yes, what is it that you wanted to talk about? If this is about staying away from Samir, I already told him never to contact me again and to forget about me...."
"No, I am not here for that. I am here to apologize to you for everything that I have done to you. And for telling you to stay away from Samir. I am sorry for everything," she says trying to take Shyra's hand with hers. "I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me for all the mistakes that I have made to you..."
"Why now? Why did you have a change of heart?" Shyra curiously asked her. "Because ever since he graduated, you have been adamant about me staying away from and now you are apologizing to me. I have forgiven you but Samir is out of my life, dont worry it isn't because of you but because of many things that happened in my life," she added.
"I am sorry for the way I treated you and the slap..."
"Its okay. I forgive you but please just stay away from me. Excuse me, I need to talk to my lawyer about a few things," Shyra says interrupting her.
Shyra didnt want to talk more to Samir's mother because she might make her change her decision which wouldn't be possible.
Half of the battle is won but what about the war? Allah knows what is in our hearts and soul, I trust Him to guide me to what is right but as for Samir, I am sorry because I know that I have hurt him. It is the only way to make sure that he will get a future that is worth being his wife. Love, marriage might not be for someone like me...
"Shyra, congratulations. Alhamdulilah, everything is going well and in two weeks you will have your father's company in your hands," Imran says interrupting her chain of thoughts.
He had a huge grin on his face because finally, Shyra could focus on the things that make her happy.
"Alhamdulilah and its thanks to you and Janna plus her team. Now, you can focus on Ayra and the company, right?..."
Before she could finish what she was saying Janna called her over leaving Imran dumbfounded.
What is she talking about? Is she trying to make me leave her just like she did to Samir? I can't let her go, even if I have to move here I will do it. In shaa Allah I will make you understand that you deserve love and much more for your future.
