It was over. The war. They defeated Gaea. All was a bad memory for all the Greek and Roman Gods and their sons... except for one demigod. His name was Percy Jackson. I think that all of you know it. You know, the Greek demigod that saved the Olympus more than one time? Yes. That demigod.

But... what was the problem exactly? His girlfriend.

The daughter of Athena, Annabeth Chase, was Percy's girlfriend, and she died during the war. She sacrificed herself to save her boyfriend's life and end with the war.

And Percy felt horrible.

It have been like two weeks from that awful day, and all what Percy did during that time was stay in Cabin 3 at Camp Half-Blood, crying during all the day and all the night. The rest of the seven, Grover, Chiron, the Stolls and even Clarisse tried to make him to get out of Poseidon's cabin, but he just answered that he wanted to be alone.

But one night, while the rest of the campers were sleeping, he came out of his cabin.

He had made a decision.

The son of Poseidon walked to the lake. With his amazing powers, he controlled water and made a small wave. Then he threw a drachma into that wave and said:

"Iris, please, show me Hades"

He waited ten seconds, and an image of a man appeared in front of his eyes.

"Percy Jackson!" exclaimed Hades. "Not a pleasure of see you again"

"I don't like talking to you either"

"And why did you send me an Iris message?"

"I want propose you something"

Hades went silence for a minute, analyzing if listen him or not.

"You've got exactly five minutes for convince me"

"Perfect"

The hero explained to the God what his plan was about. It was quite difficult to do, but he was so decided to do it.

"So" said Hades when Percy finished talking "you want me to bring Annabeth to life, and you will die, taking her place?"

"Exactly"

"And what is the good thing for me?"

"I'll be death. Isn't enough with that?"

"Touché"

"So do we have a deal?"

"Are you sure of doing this? Giving you life to save Annabeth's?"

"All for her"

"If you are sure... You have one day to say goodbye to all your friends and all that things"

"Thanks"

The Iris message disappeared.

Percy ran back to his cabin. He took out a piece of paper and his pen (that also was his sword) and started to write a card to his girlfriend. It was difficult, because he had dyslexia, but he did not care.

The letter ended like this:

"Dear Annabeth:

I will probably be death when you read this, but you must to know that all the things I've do are because I love you with all my heart. Please, I want you to continue your life without me. Be an amazing architect. Design the Olympus again. Do whatever you want, but don't look for me. I died for save you. That was my decision, and I don't regret anything.

I'm really sorry that we don't have enough time together as couple, but all I can do now to prove how big is my love is give my life to save yours.

I really love you, Wise Girl. You have my heart. Never forget that.

Percy."

A few tears were coming down Percy's cheeks. He went to his bed and fast fell asleep.

Next day...

Percy woke up really early. At eight o'clock to be exactly.

He changed his clothes, took his letter to Annabeth and went out of his cabin. There were a few demigods walking around the Camp, and they looked surprised of see him again.

"Percy!" exclaimed someone behind him. It was the Hephaestus son, Leo Valdez. "You came out of your cabin!" he looked so happy.

"Leo. Nice to see you"

"It's always nice to see me." For first time in a very long time, Percy laughed. "You're so much better. I made you laugh"

"Yeah" lied Poseidon's kid. "Have you seen Piper?"

"Beauty Queen? She's in her cabin. Why?"

"I want say something important to her. See you later" but he know that he nerve will see Leo again. No until a very long time.

"See you" said the Hephaestus kid.

Percy walked to the Aphrodite's cabin and knocked the door. Piper opened it.

"Percy! You came out of your cabin!" she was really happy.

"Yes. And I have something important to say you. But you have promise me that you will not tell anybody about this, until she's back. Even Jason, Leo, Frank or Hazel"

"Okay" said Piper, surprised.

They went to the forest, where no one could hear them, and Percy told her his plan.

Then he gave him the letter.

"And I want you to give this to her when she's back"

"Gods, Percy. Are you really sure of this?"

"Yes" he answered firmly.

Piper hugged him.

"You're the strongest and most loyal demigod I've ever meet. I'll miss you so much" she said.

"I'll miss you too, Piper. Please give Annabeth the letter and say she that I love her, and explain she why I'm doing this"

Piper nodded and went back to her cabin.

Then Percy looked at the sky and shouted.

"I'm ready, Hades".

All went black. He was dead, but Annabeth will be alive soon. Percy died happy.
