It was dark . Only because it was about 11:00pm. The moon was high up in the sky making the dark night sky lit up. The moon light was illuminating the whole world. And the moon light was peeking through the dark green leaves of the huge abandoned garden. It's a nice night actually. Only if............

"Sakuno hurry. We have to find a safe place to hide.", Tomoka told her best friend who was right behind her, quietly running for her life.

" H-hai, Tomo-chan.", she replied while being dragged by her best friend. "Eepp!", Sakuno made a squeak when she felt a tug on the knot of her long braid. When she looked behind, not stopping to run, she saw the band was stuck in a broken tree brunch. Despite the fact that she didn't stop running, the band came off from her silky smooth hair. She could tell her braid was coming loose. Yet she still kept running.

" Sakuno, sit here.", Tomoka said as she made Sakuno hide behind a bush, ready to run again. But Sakuno held her hand.

"Tomo-chan where are going?", she asked in terrified voice. She was NOT prepared to roam around this creepy spooky place alone in the night.

" Don't worry, Sakuno. I'm jus---", she was cut of when they heard running foot steps.

"I'm telling you, Kyoya I saw two people running this way."
"Really? In that case we should definitely search this place carefully."

Both Tomoka and Sakuno heard the 2of them speaking to each other.

"Shit.", Tomoka cursed under her breath as she ducked her head. " Sakuno, listen their gonna search the place and we can't get caught. More specially you."

"Then what should we do, Tomo-chan?"

"Okay listen, I'm going to run that way so they'll see me and chase after me leaving you alone and when you get the chance, you run from here.", she exclaimed, ready to run again. "What ever happens don't get caught by them. I expect to see you at midnight, Sakuno.", Tomoka gave her best friend a determine smile along with a thumbs up before she ran off.

" Hey look someone's running that way!"
"You're right. Lets go!!"

Sakuno ducked her head as the 2boys ran passed by the bush.

When the 2boys left she let out a sigh of relief. But then again the moment she realized that she was all alone in this horrifying place, her breathing hitched and she started to sweat even if the night was cold.

Woooo it's all Horio-kun's fault. He's the one to blame for everything and my situation.

The students of Seigaku High were currently staying at Jamaica for their trip. Today was the 5th day of their trip. 2 more days and their off to Japan once again. For the last 4days they've been having tons of fun. Learnt new things, did new stuffs. They even went to the beach. Though the beach wasn't too pleasant when Ryoma decided to take a bath in the water then come up to the surface with a water dripping wet toned muscular body while back brushing his wet hair with his finger.  Only wearing his swimming trunk. It almost made her nosebleed. The fan girls and some of the local girls went crazy and ran after him like lunatics.

But the worst part was, this fun was not enough for Horio-kun. He wanted to make this trip special, memorable and lastly he wanted to have a blast. So with the help of Internet, he did a little research and found out an awesome way to make this trip memorable. What's the better way to make a memorable trip with out playing a little game call The Test of Courage.
Yup! Through net he found out that there was a haunted school near the hotel they were staying in. The rumors were the scariest.

During World War||, the Americans use to bring their hostages here and torture them and kill them in the most cruelest way. After the war that valley has been abandoned for like 3years. After 3years a newly married couple bought that land and built their own safe heaven. Everything was okay until...

 after few weeks they noticed some sudden changes in the house. In the house they could hear little children running around the house or the sound of talking. Sometimes they could hear strange sounds of chains and loud cries. Yet there are only 2 people living in the house. And they don't have any kids of their own. After 3months the wife was pregnant and eventually they had a little baby girl.

But one day the baby went missing. After searching and searching with police and neighbours, they found the baby.
They found the baby in the bottom of the pond at the back of the house. After that they left the place.

After 4years, a 5 storage public school was built there. Everything was okay until... one day 2students went missing. The whole school looked for them. Then a student went up to the 5th floor which was locked from the beginning. The student expected to be locked but unfortunately it was open. And the 2 missing students were found in the unused toilet. The horrible part was, their whole body was up side down. Their heads were buried in the toilet. There was a pretty big case about that. No agent or special force not even the FBI and CIA couldn't solve the case. They couldn't find a single hand print, foot print or a single DNA in the whole 5th floor except for the victims' DNA.
The only solution they could find was that the students have done it themselves. The case was closed after that. Little by little every one forgot about that and everything was normal.

2years past after that. Nothing happened yet again one day.... another student was found dead.

She went to the basement of the school to get some supplies. When she wasn't coming back the teacher and some of the students went looking for her. When they reached the basement, they saw that the door was locked from the inside. After knocking and banging for a few times they broke down the door.
What they saw was beyond believable. They saw a black plastic bag infront of them and blood was all around it. The police came immediately and when they opened the bag, they found her body.

Her whole body was cut in to pieces. Even her uniform was cut with it. But the most mysterious part was... the whole black plastic bag was tied up with a red color string that no one has ever seen in the whole school. There was a lot of investigation about it just like the 1st one. And even this time they couldn't find any clue or a single DNA in the whole basement except for hers. And then yet again the police said that she killed herself.

The interesting thing is that the investigators said that she was dead for like 10 minutes, before the police arrived.
When she didn't came back in the class for more than half an hour and when the teachers found out and called the police, it took them less then 7minuts to arrive. So technically speaking she died 3minuts ago before the teachers had found.

So its like, the girl locked herself at 1st, then cut herself in to pieces and then put herself in the plastic bag and finally tied it up with a red string. And she did all of that within 3minuts.

 The basement had no extra exit or entrance or even Windows. The front door was the only way in and out. There was no underground tunnel or cave or anything.

Then who killed her? She killed herself?
Now that was indeed mysterious.

Just thinking about it gave Sakuno chills. And here she was sitting in a bush trying to hide from the roaming hunters. This was crazy, just beyond thinkable.

Suddenly Sakuno heard foot steps behind her. It was a quiet night. Only the sound of the insects could be heard. So hearing other sound was  not a problem.

'Oh no.', she thought and with that  she started running.
As she was running, she could hear the steps gaining on her.

'Oh no. What if it's a hunter? Or or... ,' she gulped 'A ghost!!'. And with that she started running for her life. Then she saw a foot bridge near.

She was about to get on when out of no where a pair of strong arms grabbed her by the wrest and lifted her off the ground. She was about to scream for her dear life when one hand covered her mouth as it let her set foot on the surface again. She was about to struggle to get free when the person spoke to her.

"Ryuzaki, its me. Calm down.", he said in a soft whisper still holding her in his arms.

"R-ryoma-kun?", she asked as she lifted her head which caused her back head to bump his chest. Well what could she do? He was holding her from behind. She couldn't turn around either.

Ryoma let her go but held her hand in his. " C'mon lets go.", he said while scanning the area carefully.

"W-where?", she asked out of confusion.

"To get away from the hunters, you stupid girl.", he replied looking down at her. "You don't wanna get caught by them do ya?", he asked while she shook her head.

"Then lets go.", he said as he started heading towards a more hideable place. While being dragged by him, Sakuno realized that her braids were gone and her hair was loose.

As they started walking, a cold gust of wind started to blow causing Sakuno's hair to flow by the rhythm of the wind. Some pieces of hair was tickling the side of her face. When she tried to tuck it behind her ears, using her hand. That's when she realized that Ryoma-kun was still holding her hand.

"A-ano, R-ryoma-kun?", she called in a nervous tone.

"Hmm?", he replied still walking.

"Etto y-you're s-still holding m-my hand. Y-you c-can let i-it go n-now.", she said as she looked at his back since he was ahead of her and she was being dragged by him.

Ryoma loosen his grip on her hand. She thought he's gonna let go out of embarrassment since he didn't even looked back at her. But she was wrong. He loosen his grip on her hand only to enter his big fingers through her small ones. And lock their hands in a tight intertwine shamelessly.

She was beyond embarrassed. 'N-nani? W-wh-what just happened?', she thought as she blinked twice. And suddenly she bumped in to Ryoma's bare back.

"Ryoma-kun, what happened?", she asked rubbing her nose.

"Sshhh. Be quiet.", Ryoma commanded while looking around as if to scan the whole dark place with his cat's eyes. In the midst of the moon, his eyes shone like glowing orbs.

"Hey Hiro, I think they went this way.", said a voice not so far from them.
"Kenta-san, you sure? I don't see anyone here.", replied another voice.

"Oh no. Hiro-kun and Kenta-kun.", Sakuno said in panic as she recognized the owners of the voices.

"Che.", Ryoma let out a irritating growl while looking around the place for a safe shelter to hide in.

That's when his eyes landed on a small wooden room not too far from them. The front of the room was covered with bushes so it'll be hard for the hunters to see them.

With out saying a word he turned to Sakuno who was looking at the direction of her classmates. And with out a bother he scooped her up in his arms and started running while carrying her bridle style effortlessly. To him she was light as his racket.

"KAYYA!! Ryoma-kun, what are you doing?" She let out a loud yelp as she put her arms around his neck and held on to it tightly in order to maintain balance.

"Getting us to a safe place.", he replied not even looking at her and running in full speed.

Once he reached inside the room he let her down. But unfortunately she stumbled over her own foot while she was still holding on to Ryoma's neck. The moment she fell backwards, she brought down Ryoma along with her. Since she couldn't handle his weight and Ryoma was unstable, he fell on her. They both landed on the floor.

" What the.... where did they go, Kenta-san?"
"I don't know. I clearly saw them running this way."
"Hai. So have I. Lets go look over there."
"Hai"

The voice slowly faded away. Silent was slowly flowing with it. To them the whole world vanished. 1cm closer and their lips will be together. Both eyes wide like they could see their irises. They both could feel their breath on their wet lips.

His breath smells like grep ponta.

His both hands beside her laying head. She couldn't move even if she wanted to. She was trapped between the floor and the very shocked boy over her. She was stuck in his mesmerizing ember eyes. Its like she was sinking in them.

"Kenta-san, we should look a little bit more!"
"Quiet baka. You wanna let them know we're still here?"

And it made them both snap out. They both jerked away from each other. Sakuno's whole face was redder than any other shades of red in the world. While Ryoma crawled up in front of the door to take a peek at the out side as if to ignore the whole event. But thus! A visible shade of pink could be seen on his nose and cheeks.

When he couldn't see a sight of them, he let out a sigh of relief. He sat back against the wooden wall. One leg laying on the floor while  the other bend upward and he put his left arm on the upward knee. He used the other hand to push back his sweaty bangs. He lilted his head and turned side ways to look at the girl, a little bit away from him.

"You okay, Ryuzaki?", he asked her with a bit of clouded eyes though the ember in his eyes were still clear, no emotion.

Sakuno looked up a little bit, her face still as red as ever. The moment she looked up, she was taken back by his sitting and staring form. She immediately looked down on the ground.

"H-hai.", she replied still looking down.

" gomen for earlier. I had to do that to get us to safety and knowing how clumsy you are. Either you'd fall down running or trip over your own foot. That would only get us in to more trouble.", he explained while everting his gaze slightly to another place. "Sorry about that."

"I-iie, nandemonai.", she replied while shooking her head from left to right.

Sakuno was embarrassed again. She could feel his gaze on her and she dared to look up and look back at him. Inside she was slightly angry on Horio-kun for the situation  she was in at the moment.

"I think their gone," he said again peeking outside. "What the hell are you  doing here?", he asked dryly while looking at her. " you don't even like these things."

She didn't bother  defending. He's right. Sakuno didn't like scary things. She never watched horror movies let alone go out after dark. Heck! She even cringed at the sight of spiders. So the idea of her voluntary agreed to run around a haunted school in the wee hours of the morning was more than reduculous.

She lifted her gaze to the boy in front of her. Who was currently scanning the out side with his visible glowing ember eyes. The moment he looked at her, she immediately looked down.

"Well? What are you doing here?", he asked again once again. But she refuse to answer. How could she answer? He's the main reason she was in this situation. All this time she was angry on Horio-kun. But Ryoma-kun was the one to blame most for her situation at the moment. She realized as she through about the earlier event. 

2 more days and the amazing trip would be over. This was their 1st time going on an abroad trip. They had a lot of fun during the following days. It was indeed a memorable trip. They've done so much activities and learnt new things, met new people. It was fun......

Not until Horio-kun came up with the idea.

"Listen here, minna-san. I've gotta tell you something.", Horio announced as he stood on a table.

" please make it quick, Horio. As you can see we're having dinner.", Tomoka said with an annoyed face.

"Tsk tsk dear Tomoka. Once you hear me out, you wont have that annoyed face anymore. Trust me .", he replied like a genius while shooking his index finger. 

"Hai, Horio-san, please continue. We're listening.", Ren replied. When the class rap spoken everyone went silent.

"Arigatou Ren-san. Ahem.... As I was saying, this is our 1st time coming to an abroad trip right? It's very memorable to all of us. But... but but... It could be more amazing and memorable.", he said with a knowing look.

"And how is that?", Tomoka asked with one cheek on her palm while elbow on the table, looking bored. 

"With a Test of courage of course.", he finished with both hands on his hips. 

"Test of courage? You mean a haunted test of courage?", this time Tomoka asked in excitement.

"Hai!", Horio replied.

"Etto Horio-kun, how exactly will you find a haunted place here in Jamaica? We don't know anything about this place.", asked the class president Kyoko.

"Glad you asked, Kyoko-chan. I've done a little research about our abide surroundings and guess what I found? I found..... A haunted a banded school not so far from our hotel.", with that he finished his talking.
"What are the statements about this place?", again Tomoka asked with sparkling eyes and Horio began to tell them the rumors.

"Eekkss!! That was scary.", Kyoko said right after Horio finishes telling them the stories. "Ano Horio-kun, how are you planning on managing the teachers? I don't think they'll listen to us.", Kyoko said with a worried face.

" don't worry, Kyoko-chan. Me and Ren-san have it all under control."
And with that both Ren and Kyoko looked at each other and a faint blush appeared on both of their faces.

"You 2 are soooo kawaii!!!", squealed  Tomoka.
And it them both look away from one another.
"Hahaha! Okay who ever wants to join please let Kachiro know.", Horio said while pointing at Kachiro who was standing with a pen and a pad. And in one qui everyone agreed.

"Sakuno, lets go join. It'll be fun.", Tomoka said to her best friend who was sitting at the same table beside her.
"Hai Sakuno-chan, wont you come with us?", this time Horio asked too.

Before she could declined politely, Ryoma snorted which made her look at him. He was sitting at a table not so far from theirs. 

Elbow on the table. Side of the head laying on the fisted hand. And a satisfying smirk. All the fan girls from their class had hearts in their eyes.
He was wearing a blood red elbow length sleeve T-shirt and a black color sleeveless coat along with nevi blue Jeans and his favorite tennis shoes.

"What makes you think she'll join us? Ryuzaki wouldn't last 5 minutes."
Sakuno gaped at him, "I could too."
Ryoma turned to her, a challenging spark in his eyes. "You honestly think you can manage it?", he asked while smirking

Despite men's thought to the contrary, smirking doesn't incurs good favor or make them look good/more handsome. It only makes women want to slap them.

Sakuno's eyes narrowed dangerously. " I might even do better then you, Ryoma-kun.", she replied evenly.

He blinked twice as if surprised by her sudden boldness. And then he did something no one has ever seen. He smiled at her. And its the thing that undid her. Ryoma-kun smirked, taunted, teased and bantered. He never smiled. More specially at HER. Its like the world just turned upside down.

All the fan girls went furiously murderous towards Sakuno. And all the boys in the room was beyond shocked. The cocky prince just smiled.

None the less Tomoka made a dangerously scary face while glaring at the fan girls with a murderous evil smile and creaking her knuckles. Which made them back off and want to pee in their pants right then and there.

And here she was sitting in a wooden room with the love of her life, trying to get away from the hunters out there.

"Cmon' Ryuzaki, we have to go.", and it made her snap out of her thoughts. "To a better place to hide.", Ryoma said as he brought out his iPhone 7 from his pocket and checked the time. '11:40. 20 minutes to go', he mumbled to him self. "Lets go.", he said as he put his phone back and looked at Sakuno.

"Ehh? G-go w-where? I t-thing this is t-the s-safest p-place to h-hide before m-midnight.", she said with worry.

Ryoma sighed. "Anta wa baka desu! Do you possibly think this is even a place to hide?
"H-hai, because we're a-already h-hiding here."
"No baka. This is temporary. It wouldn't take them long to find us here. Now be quiet and lets go!", with that he grabbed her hand firmly and started dragging her again.

While walking Ryoma kept his hold on her. He kept scanning the surroundings to keep them safe. There were few times Sakuno tripped and fell. But still she didn't get why she was being dragged by her former classmate and crush.

Sakuno was kind of lost in thoughts that she didn't realized where they were going. The moment she realized where they were heading, horror struck her.

"R-ryoma-kun?"
"Hmm"
"W-why a-are we h-heading in to t-the s-school b-building?" 

Ryoma stopped walking and so did she. Ryoma looked at her from the corner of his eyes. "Cause that's the most safest place in the entire property.'', he replied dryly.

And suddenly all the horrifying stories about this place came rushing in to Sakuno's memory and a cold creepy chill ran down her spins.

She gulped, "B-but that's the-"

"Most haunted place in the school. I know.", he finished Sakuno's sentence . "The hunters will never go in there to look for any prey. So we'll be safe there till midnight.", he finished his explanation and started walking again while dragging her......... Again.

Okay she got the explanation but what she didn't get at all was why he was dragging her? 'Mou. I know I have a poor sense of direction but that doesn't mean you have to drag me like this, Ryoma kun', she said that in her mind as if to telepathically send the massage to Ryoma.

Before she knew it, they're in a classroom in the 1st floor. The classroom was dark. Only a little ray of the moon light was coming in the classroom through the huge dark tree leaves. 

The place was beyond spooky. Sakuno brought out her Samsung J7 to check the time. How long does she needs to stay in this creepy , spooky horrifying place? She drew a pattern as the time showed up. Her back was facing the window which allowed her a good view of the screen. But before she could take a good look at the time, her phone was taken away from her grip.

She gasped softly before looking in front of her. There she saw Ryoma holding up her phone while looking right at her with an unknown emotion on his face.A slight part of the moon light fell on his face through the window which made unique shade of light and dark on his face but none the less it made his cat shaped ember eyes glow in the dark. His bangs fell on his eyes which looked like he was glaring at her.

Swallowing the saliva, Sakuno gulped hard. "A-ano Ryoma-kun, w-why d-did y-you took m-my p-ph-phone?", she asked through shattering  voice. 

Now Ryoma's eyes were completely covered with his bangs. And a sly smirk was visible on his lips. "Sakuno........". and he started to walk towards her. 

"H-hai?", she replied as she also started  backing. 'Oh no! w-what's w-wrong w-with Ryoma-kun? We're a-all a-al-alone h-here a-an-and  h-his coming t-to-towards me. I-is he g-going t-to-', she gulped ' EAT M-ME? Is h-he s-some k-kind of a g-ghost? disguise as Ryoma-kun?', she thought in horror. And before she knew it her back hit the wall beside the window.

Ryoma came loser inch by inch and stopped only 3 inch away from her. He put his head on Sakuno's shoulder.

"Sakuno........."

A cold wind blew by. Making the trees shake their brunches and leaves to create a crumbling melody.

 In side the classroom, time stopped. She was totally frozen. Her mind stopped working. She couldn't think or move at all. She moved her eye balls to  her right a she saw dark green hair. 

"Ryoma-kun?", she mustered the courage to speak. "N-na-nanish t-ta-tande o-omae?", she asked like a whisper clear enough for Ryoma's ears only. His head was still on her shoulder. But in a response she got nothing.

"You," Ryoma suddenly spoken as he slowly took his head off of her shoulder and looked at her eye to eye. "You've been ignoring me for the last 3 weeks, Sakuno. It's time you stop", and with that he closed the gap between them.

Sakuno was beyond shocked. She was sure this was some kind of a weird dream. The Echizen Ryoma was kissing her!! THE ECHIZEN RYOMA!!! Her Ryoma-kun. The guy girls go crazy for. Even to the point where they take off their cloths, JUST TO CATCH HIS ATTENTION. The attention she logged for so long.

Sakuno had grown. She wasn't a fan girl anymore. Ryoma could always hold a special place in her heart. As her 1st crush and the love of her life. What's happening at the moment was beyond her imagination. She never expected this in her dreams yet it was happening. She was frozen. She couldn't move. She couldn't react nor do anything. She was stuck.

Ryoma slowly put one arm around her small wrest, pulling her closer to him. Making sure she wont escape. He put the other hand behind her head and pushed it slightly to deepen the sweet kiss. Sakuno's lips were trimbling out of mixed emotions of coufusion, scared, doubt, love and so on. Ryoma backed 1inch away from their kiss to look at her with half closed eyes and in a split second he's back to kissing her again. His hand left her head and went tracing down her smooth arm. When he reached her hand, he intertwine their fingers. Brought their hands up and slightly slammed it against the wall as he let go of  the kiss and looked at a very shocked Sakuno.

 "How dare you ignore me, Sakuno? Who gave you the right?", he asked in a low growling voice which made shiver ran down Sakuno's vines. 

"Ryoma-kun....". she finally spoke. 

"I'm going to make sure you never ignore me ever again.", and he slowly started to lean in again.

just to tellu, all the rumors r made by me so no offense to my Americanfriends!! i love everyone including americans!! recently i was watching a move called The Grave of the Fireflies!! its a very heart touching movie. u guys should watch it!! i got the world war II idea from there!! so hope u wont through flames at a innocent 16 years old girl!! ^_^!
