⚠️ Homofobic dad, past abuse, nightmares ⚠️

"Is everything all set?" Ava asked everyone. "I think so!" Angle said bubbly. The four of them laughed and got into the car, Ava driving first with Sophie next to her and Jake and Angle spread out in the back seat. "You two should really buckle up, if we get into a reck then you both could get very hurt or even die." Ava stated. "Then dont get us in a reck and we will be ok." Jake said trying to be smug but instead just got a bunch of glares. "Ok, ok, we'll buckle up." Jake said quickly. Then he and Angle sat up and buckled up, to Jake's disappointment Angle sat next to the window instead of right next to him.

*One Hour Later*

Angle and Sophie where now asleep while Ava was still driving and Jake was playing a game on his phone. Then all of a sudden Angle started to whine and cry. Then Angle shot up from the window and started shaking, crying more, and had a cold sweat. He looked around frantically until he saw his very worried looking boyfriend and tackle hugged him, causing Jake to slam his head into the window but didn't show any signs of being in pain because he was worried about Angle. He started to say soothing words to him. Ava pulled over right once she could and turned around to find him doing just that while Angle was slowly starting to calm down. Then Sophie woke up slowly and was startled by what was happening with the boys. Ava told her everything and she caught on quickly. Once Angle had finally stopped shaking and crying Jake asked "What was your nightmare about?" And after properly catching his breath and Jake running his fingers through Angle's hair he replied. "I-it was about m-my dad saying h-how much of a horrible s-son I was b-because I'm g-gay. Then he started b-b-beating me." Once Ava heard that she was confused because she knew that Angle's dad was in jail ever since Angle was four because he abused Angle and his wife. Jake looked over at her and she told him. "His dad has been in jail for a really long time and doesn't know that Angle is gay." "Oh..." was Jake's only responce before he went back to focusing on Angle who had cuddled himself into Jake's chest and fallen back asleep. "What did his dad do to be arrested?" Jake asked quietly, trying to not wake Angle. "His dad abused him and his mom ever since he found out she was pregnant. But she stayed with him trying to keep a family going. That is until one day he beat them in a store and Angle yelled out in pain causing some off duty officer to come over and arrest his dad on the spot." Ava said in a sad tone. By the time they where back on the road and on their way to the mountains, it was just forty-five minutes to go.

*One Hour Later*

They had gotten into some traffic and it caused them to be late. Right once they got there they all got their things and took turns changing into p.j.'s in the bathroom. Once they where done Angle was hipper because he had slept the most of the way there. Nobody was really sleepy because it was only nine o'clock at night so Angle asked "Hey, yall wanna play a game? Like truth or dare?" "Yes!" Sophie exclaimed. "Im down." Jake said, happier now that Angle was happy. "Yay! Lets do it!" Ava said with a smile. "Ok! Who is gonna go first?" Angle asked the group. "Me! Jake, truth or dare?" Ava asked, trying to keep the mischievous going out of her eyes. "Dare because im not a chicken." Jake replied. "Yay! I dare you to remove a piece of clothing for Angle's likeing." Ava stated with a smirk. "Easy!" Jake replied as he took off his socks. "No, a real piece of clothin." Ava stated making Jake sigh. "Well someone is eager." Sophie teased. That cause Ava to roll her eyes and kiss Sophie. Jake took his shirt off and saw that everyone was looking at his Sixpack and muscles. "Take a photo, it will last longer." Jake stated while blushing. So Angle pulled his phone out and took a photo of his hot boyfriend. They all laughed at his antic and then continued on with the game. "Truth or Dare Sophie?" Angle asked. "Truth because im scared for what your dare would be." Sophie replied. "Ugh, your smar. How long have you liked Ava?" Angle asked because he couldnt think of anything better. "For about two years now." Sophie replied while blushing. "T or D Ava?" Jake asked, ready to get his revenge. "Dare because im a daredevil." Ava replied with a smirk. "I dare you to rate us all from one to ten in personality. I'm only going nice because we are staying in the same room tonight." Jake stated. "Smart idea, I give you all a ten out of ten personality becasue you all bring something different to the table but in your own way." Ava stated, shocking everyone at how she didnt skip a beat. "Ok, Angle T or D?" Sophie asked. "Dare." Angle mumbled. "I dare you to sit in Jake's lap for the entire round." Sophie said, she was nice because Jake had been nice. "Okay." Angle replied as he got into Jake's lap and cuddled his chest again. He was about to be asleep when Ava said "Are you tired?" So he replied with a nodd (he was never not tired). So Jake moved them both so they where under the covers cuddled up. Angle fell asleep almost instantly causing the other three laugh lightly and then go to sleep themselves.

*The Next Morning*

Jake had woken up and decided to take a shower. When he came out he found an awake and pouty Angle. "Go take a shower love, once your done we should wake the girls." Jake stated as he pecked Angle's lips. "Ok." Angle giggled. He left to go and take his shower. Once out, he grabbed a pillow and told Jake "You hit Sophie and I'll hit Ava, it will wake them up! But be gentle, we don't want to hurt them even if it is just pillows." Jake nodded and they where both about to hit the girls gently when they both jumped up and hit the boys with their pillows. "AHH!" Angle yelled at the surprise attack. "You really thought that would work? I thought you would know better Angle." Ava managed to say through laughter. "Yah, your right, I should have known that wouldnt work." Angle stated after gaining his breath from how much he had been laughing. After a few minutes they had all calmed down so the girls took turns taking showers while the boys took turns taking photos with each other on the girls phones to spam them. Once they were all ready they went back to the car to start their adventure. "So where to first?" Jake asked who was now driving. They all got to drive, each day would be a different person. "How about the nature hike? It is about five minutes away and not a lot of people should be there today because it is cold-ish." Ava asked while spaming Jake's phone with photos of her and Sophie as revenge. "Sounds good to me." Jake stated and then looked over at Angle to see if he was good with it. "Sounds fun!" Angle exclaimed happily. With that they all left to gobto the nature hike.

*Three Minutes Later*

They had arrived at the trail early because it was Jake driving and he is a low key speed demon. "Hey, do yall want to have a race? Couple against couple?" Ava asked, she was very competitive. "Sure!" Angle said. "Im down."  "Sounds fun!" Jake and Sophie added. So they all headed up to the map and picked the third shortest paths. They were one and a half miles long each. They made their way over to the paths and Ava yelled "Get your phones out and start a timer! Whoever gets there first wins! One." "Two" "Three" "GO!" and with that they wherr all off. The boys decided to do the entire thing in a jog because they were both plenty fit to do it, they didnt want to run though because they still wanted to enjoy the scenery. The girls had also decided to jog the entire time with the exact same reasoning as the boys. Neither couple knew what the other was doing and all they where focused on was winning. "What do you want the girls punishment to be if they loose?" Angle asked. "Nothing too bad, probly just make them pay for lunch or something like that." Jake replied. "Ok, sounds good to me!" Angle smiled, he was so lucky to have such a nice boyfriend.

"Hey, what do you want the boys punishment to be if they lose"? Ava asked Sophie curiously. "Um... how about we make them pay for lunch and we get to choose where we go for lunch?" Sophie asked, trying not to be mean but also have them get a good deal. "Sounds good to me." Ava smiled and then kissed Sophie's cheek.

*Seven Minutes Later*

"Done!" Angle yelled while hitting a wooden pole that said you have done a mile and a half. It had taken him and Jake exactly eight minutes, twelve seconds, and three milliseconds. "Good job us!" Jake laughed while trying to catch his breath from all the jogging and laughing.

Meanwhile...

"Done!!!" Ava yelled while stopping her timer. It had taken her and Sophie exactly eight minutes, twelve seconds, and two milliseconds. "Great job! Wel killed it!" Sophie exclaimed while high fiving Ava. They decided to call Jake to tell them that they where done and what their time was. (Bring, bring) "Hello, what was yalls time?" Jake asked while putting the phone on speaker. "Hey, our time was eight minutes, twelve seconds, and two milliseconds! What about you two?" Ava asked happily. "Nooooooo!" Angle groaned. "What is it? Did we win?!" Sophie asked while jumping up and down slightly. "By one millisecond!" Jake sighed. "YES!!!" both girls exclaimed together. "Whats our punishment?" Angle asked, not sounding very disappointed that they had lost. "We get to pick where we eat and you two have to pay for all of us. I am feeling quite hungry after that walk." Ava replied with a smirk, even though the boys couldn't see it. "Alright, meet us at the car and we will go." Jake stated before hanging up. So they all met up at the car and went to get lunch. Once everyone was in the car Jake asked "So where do you two want to go?" "How about Fire Ribs? Its a small restaurant but has a four almost five star rating!" Sophie excalmed. "Ok, lets go!" And with that they where all off and went to the Fire Ribs restaurant.
