As a new day started Krista woke up and walked downstairs a bit like a zombie like every normal person who wakes up early. She walked into her kitchen and saw her nan making breakfast and her sister, Beth sitting at the breakfast bar. 

"Morning." Grandma said.

"Morning, what's for breakfast?" Krista asked.

"Pancake Ghosts." Beth told her.

"Why Ghosts?" Krista questioned wandering.

"Because its Halloween silly." Grandma says.

"Its is?" Krista asked confused.

"Yeah. Its October 31st. Where have you been?" Beth said sarcastically. 

"I don't know." Krista said looking confused.

* In front of School*

Beth and Krista's Grandma pulled up in front of the school. "Are you sure you two want to go back? The Principle said if you want more time off then you can."

"No its okay, Grandma. It will be better if we go to school. It'll take our mind off it." Beth said putting her bag over her shoulder. "Come on Krista, we have to go." Both the girls wave and walk into school.

*In School- Lunchtime*

The Canteen was filled will pupils as always. Krista was sitting by herself secluded from everyone. As she sees John she runs up to him almost knocking him down because of how fast she ran. "John!"

"Krista? What's up?" John asked.

"Urm...Can we talk somewhere private?" Krista whispered.

"Sure. But where?"John replied.

"The Library." Krista said.

"The Library? You never go to the Library. So I guess you must be desperate." John joked.

"So you're gonna come?" 

"Yes. Lets say after school."

"Okay." Krista agreed.

*Later- In the Library*

"Over here!" 

Krista heard a voice form over the room and saw John sitting in the sofa area. "Hey."

"Hello, so what did you want to tell me?" John asked. 

"Ur...I was wondering about the old lady. You know the one who's house we went to for me and Beth's birthday.

"Yeah what about her?" John questioned.

"Urm..I..Think she's trying to...Kill..Me!" Krista said looking at the floor.

"What? That's ridiculous. The story I told you was made up." John explained.

"No it isn't. She's after me. She hurt my parents and she sent me a creepy text message." Krista said shouting at John.

"Shhh... Be quiet or get out." The Librarian said in a moody mood like always.

"Okay." Krista whispered back to the Librarian.

"Krista...Listen to me. Ghosts aren't REAL!" John said. As soon as John said that, the books on the top shelf flew off all by themselves. "What the hell?"

"See. Its a Ghost." Krista told him pointing at the books that were on the floor.

"I don't know. I think I'll need more proof." John insisted.

"Fine but not here. Quick lets go before the moody Librarian come and tells us off." Krista told him as she they got their bags and ran out of the Library. "Follow me."

*In front of the Haunted House*

"What are we doing here?" John asked Krista.

"To show you evidence." Krista said then walked into the front door.

"This gives me the creeps but it is not haunted." John said staying close to the front door.

"This is John." Krista said to the inside of the house. "If doesn't think you're real. Show him. Move something. Know something over!"

"Nothing's happening, Krista." John said as he looked like he was about to bolt out the door. "I'm gonna go home. See you later." John walked out the door leaving Krista by herself.

"Fine." Krista replied angrily. She went out the door and walked home. She arrived at her house and opened the door. "Nan? Beth? I'm home."

"Where have you been?" Grandma said holding a knife in her hand.

"Nan? Nan? Put it down. I was at school." Krista said reaching out to get the knife from her Nan's hand.

"NO!" Grandma yelled out as she pushed Krista on the floor.

"Nan what's wrong. This isn't you. Who are you?" Krista asked as she got up from the floor.

"That is none of your business, Krista." Beth said walking towards Krista with an evil expression on her face.

"Its your fault my husband is dead!" Grandma told Krista.

"What? But Granddad is still alive. Wait?" Krista says as she quickly runs out the door.
