The Haunted Boo Forest by: Me ;) Inspired by: The Forest: A Mario novel By: HarmonGill_ (Shoutout to them btw :D)

Today's story takes place or rather starts at a lovely goomba village, In a small house.  A young goomba child by the name of Gumbaru was sleeping in his bed. He had a field trip today, his cousin Goomp( Private Goomp( From MaL: BIS and MaL: DT) was coming over to visit from bowser's army for the entire month, and him and some friends were going to sleepover tomorrow. All was well and it's a normal day...or so it seems.

Gumba's Mom: "Gumbaru!!! WAKE UP!!! YOUR ALREADY 5 MINUTES LATE TO SCHOOL!!!" 

Gumbaru shot up and leaped out of bed, making a dash to the door, skipping breakfast not wanting to be even more late than he already was. 

Gumbaru: "BYE MOM!!!" He yelled as he ran out of the door.

Gumba's mom(Mind): ' Classic son' 

He got to the school and ran into class and sat down. Everyone stared for a bit, before turning back to the teacher.

Ms. Goombill: "Alright class, as you know you all have a field trip correct?" She started. The class nodded. "the buses should be here by now. If you see your name on the board then please exit the classroom and go to class B. 120." The students on the board went to the class. "Everyone else please follow me to the buses"

'Oh i'm so exited! My first trip, I hope I don't get lost' Gumba thought. 

He stepped on the bus and headed to the destination. All of the students got out and went to a group made of toads, koopas, bob-ombs, and shy guys. 

Toadaline: "Hello fellow students, I'm Toadiline and I'll be your humble guide for today :D" The group nodded "now because almost all guides has been taken by other schools I'll guide all of you at once in this group :). Now follow me and we'll get started"

The group followed Toadaline for the tour. It was amazing! A farm, some nice views, a beach, a hotel, and more! It was fun untill...

Gumbaru(mind): 'Wow this place is so big! And I'll be staying here for 7 or more hours! Hmm? Who is that?' 

He looked to the side and sees a toad near far off in the distance, in a dark forest behind big black gate doors. Boos can be seen far and wide. A figure of a house or mansion is seen in front of the toad. (Spooky.) 'Is that a toad? It looks to be in trouble. I should help them. But Ms. Toadaline said not to go there and that the people that go there never return...hmm. Should I go? I should go!' He ran to the forest before being pulled back by someone.

???: "H-hey, don't g-go there. Ms. Toadaline said not to go t-there. I don't want t-to get in t-trouble"

Gumbaru: "But the toad. I WON'T LEAVE THEM!!!"

???:  "WAIT!!!"

And with that Gumbaru was off to save the toad. But the figure that tried to stop him followed him. Two other figures see the two and look at eachother. He ran, and ran, and ran before coming face to door ( get it? No...? Ok cuz i don't eather) with a giant mansion. And the toad was there too, being ambushed by a bunch of boos. 

Gumbaru: "HEY!! GET AWAY FROM THEM!!!" 

He shooed the boos away with his feet. He went to the toad and helped them up (Somehow idk XD ) 

Gumbaru: "Are you ok?"

???2: "Yes i'm fine thanks"

???: "WAIT!!! Don't *pants* do *pants* t-that please *pants*"

Gumbaru: "Who are you anyway? And why do you care about me? I'm fine, see."

???: "1. I'm P-parakarter. Nice to meet you"

Parakarter: "And 2. because I want to make sure your ok. And what if you didn't make it out fine?"

Gumbaru: "True. What about you? *motions to the toad*"

???2: "Well i'm Toadswell"

Gumbaru: "Well now that we know eachother let's leave. Someone might be worried and start looking for us. And we don't want them to worry right?"

They both nodded. They began to head back to the gates. The trip there was filled with clever jokes by Toadswell, Parakarter's humming, and Gumbaru's converce. They made it to the gate's only for them to be closed. 

Gumbaru: "The gates...closed? It was open when we went through tho." 

Toadswell: "Hold on. Let me..."

Toadswell tried to push it open but failed to. He tried again...still failed. He kept on trying intill he gave up.

Toadswell: "Well frick, It looks like it's impossible to open"

Parakarter: "W-well let me"

Para tried to fly over the gates but something or someone prevented him. He pushed against the force field but had no prevail.

Parakarter: "I can't fly over it. Some thing's stopping me."

Thunder cracks in the sky, scaring Parakarter. The clouds and sky darken, as if they wern't already in this forest. 

Gumbaru: "Come on. I have an idea where to go"

Gumbaru ran off and the other two followed suit. The three ran intill they came to  face the haunted mansion. Gumbaru went for the door before being pulled back again.

Parakarter: "I-I don't t-think this is a good idea"

Gumbaru: "Welll...we don't have anywhere else to go soooo why not here"

And with that the three went inside as is started to rain. This is the beginning to a brand new haunted adventure.
