It started around two weeks before my birthday. Something was happening to me that no have ever seen or heard but that night was so different than any other night. I was her alone in my room studying for a test. Then there was big bang. So, I called down to see if my parents were home. No answer which I thought it was strange and walk up and back to my room to finish studying.

Something knock over. I didn't know what it was so I walked out into the hallway to see what was out there with a baseball bat. I saw glowing eyes and turned on the lights to see it was just the cat. I took a big breath of relief.

I went back to studying and turn on some music. So, I don't sit in silence. I thought to myself when did my parents say they were getting home. I picked up my phone to read it was 7:35 p.m. I have couple hours until they get home. I went down stairs still with the bat in my hands. I walked into the kitchen to get me something to eat. Then I found something that surprised me. I called my parents and got no answer. I called again still no answer.

"Come on answer your phones." I said calling both phone. Then decide to call the police. I turned on the tv and at that moment they said that there was a car accident. They don't know how many casualties. The police answer the phone.

"Hello miss are you still on the phone?" said the officer.

"Yea I'm here," I said, "I think someone is inside my house?"

"Okay mamma go and hide and I will send some officers to your address and I will stay on the phone with you." he said with kindness in his voice.

"Okay," I said taking deep breath.

The police showed up and looked around the whole house backyard and basement. When they headed to the kitchen they found a bloody foot print. They took me to the police station. One of the police officer came over and got me some water and he started to ask me some questions about the footprint. I told him everything I knew and then I asked him about my parents.

"Your parents weren't home with you." he asked and I shook my head. He look very confused at this point and so was I. Then I got a call from my aunt Christina. She told me that my parent are dead because of the car accident. I was in tears the officers looked at me and asked "what is the matter."

I told him that both of my parents were dead because of the car accident and I didn't tell them how much that I loved them. I just broke down and that night change everything for my aunt and for me.
