For the next couple of weeks, the trio made various stops to teach Naruto his new ability. The first thing he had to do was to pop a water balloon by spinning his chakra, which took him a couple days to do. Now onto the second step which was very similar to the first; Naruto had to pop a rubber ball. Since the ball is much sturdier than the balloon, he has to improve the Rasengan's strength.

Cherry sat watching Naruto try different ways to pop the ball until he finally did but passed out soon after from exhaustion. 

"Great news kids, I think I found her" Jiraiya tells them coming back from a town one day "She's in Tanzaku"

"That's great but Naruto's a bit out of commission" Cherry points to him.

"I see.. well let's go" Jiraiya turns and begins to walk away

"W-what?" Cherry looks confused "what about-"

"Bring him." Jiraiya waves to her walking away.

"M-Me?" Cherry looks down at Naruto

"Think of it as strength training." Jiraiya tells her as he continues to walk away.

Cherry sighs as she picks Naruto up, carrying him on her back. She quickly follows after her sensei. Naruto soon wakes up and begins walking next to Cherry,

"You said there are three steps to the training!" Naruto shouts at Jiraiya "We've only gotten to the second step!"

"Hehehe" Jiraiya laughs "The third step can be done even while walking."

"Really?" Naruto questions

"Cherry." Jiraiya holds out his hand to her "Give me that thing we bought."

"Ok.." Cherry reaches into her bag and gives Jiraiya a balloon.

Jiraiya blows it up and throws it to Naruto. While Jiraiya explains the final stage to Naruto, Cherry looks around at the path. Suddently Jiraiya stops and demonstrates the move on a tree, at first the tree was left with swirl marks, then the second one made a large hole right in the middle.

"Wow." Cherry says amazed

"If you keep this tornado in it's form, the power doesn't dissipate." Jiraiya explains "It'll start to spin faster, and its power will be highly concentrated."

Naruto looks at the balloon confidently and begins to try it out. It soon bursts full of chakra.

"Hey don't slack off." Jiraiya turns to him "You gotta charge 100% of your spin and your power into it. I told you it's rank A difficulty, extremely high level ninjutsu."

Naruto stares at his hand.

"Alright, the chat's over." Jiraiya continues walking "We're gonna practice while walking."

Naruto looks confused "Eh, why must we hurry, i need to prac.."

"We took extra time to get your body healed." Jiraiya cuts him off "There's no guarantee that Tsunade will stay in the city longer either."

"Come on Naruto," Cherry smiles to him "I'll blow up balloons for you so you can practice while we go."

"...alright" Naruto agrees

As promised Cherry blew up balloons as Naruto practiced over and over again. They soon stopped at a gambling place so Jiraya could ask questions. Naruto focused on practicing with Cherry helping out. 

He popped the balloon again "Gah!"

"You did better that time Naru." Cherry encourages

"Damn, she's nowhere to be found." Jiraiya complains

"Should we try another place Sensei?" Cherry asks

"Don't know." Jiraiya looks at her "any other ideas?"

"We can try looking from high up." Cherry suggests

"Good thinking" Jiraiya agrees "This city is a castle town, we can go up to the castle." he turns to Naruto "Let's go Naruto!"

"Roger!" Naruto nods

The group runs up to the castle that was collapsed.

"What happened here?" Naruto asks

"Hey you over there!" Jiraiya calls out to a guy running away

"What happened here sir?" Cherry asks

"You guys should run away too!" The guy responds "There's a demon beast up there!"

"Demon beast?" Naruto looks confused

"This demon beast you speak of.. what exactly was it?" Jiraiya asks

"A Huge snake.. toppled the building instantly." The guy replies

"Back in the village I also encountered a snake-beast." Naruto looks at Cherry "While you were away."

"This snake.. is the same snake you met before." Jiraiya tells him "Cherry, get your head in battle mode."

"Yes!" Cherry nods

"Let's go!" Jiraya takes off running with the two gennin behind him

They run around town until they found nothing. Jiraiya heads to a pub once night fell.

"Oh well.. let's just eat dinner here." Jiraiya sighs

"What?" Cherry looks at him

"Isn't this place a pub?" Naruto asks

"Dumbass.. information is always found at places like this." Jiraya looks at the two kids before looking up "Hey! Tsunade!"

Naruto and Cherry look at each other confused before following after Jiraiya.

"Jiraiya.. why.. are you at a place like this?" the women Tsunade asks him

"finally," Jiraiya let's out a breath "we found you."
