That night Cherry knocked on her Sensei's door.

"Sensei!" Cherry calls out

"Ugh" Jiraiya complains "Come in."

Cherry came in to see Jiraya laying on the floor, he looked completely drunk.

"Sensei you're so irresponsible." Cherry crosses her arms

"You can lecture me when you become a Sanin." Jiraiya sits up "What's up?"

"Why did you give me forbidden blood art ninjutsu?!" Cherry asks "The first word, is literally forbidden!"

"For you to learn." Jiraiya responds "Duh."

"Don't be so nonchalant about it" Cherry smacks him

"Ow, Cherry be nice to your sensei." Jiraiya whines

"Why in the world-"

"You believe Naruto can do the impossible, why don't you believe you can too?" Jiraiya asks seriously

"Well.. this type of blood art ninjutsu was created by a legendary Sanin, nobody else could do it." Cherry explains "Nobody would ever believe that someone could turn their own blood into a weapon."

"Except for him," Jiraiya smirks "And I figured, so could you."

"Why?" Cherry asks

"If you put how much faith you have in others into yourself you can do a lot." Jiraiya replies "Did you know, he has the same name?"

"Huh?" Cherry looks confused

"The 4th Legendary Sanin that left the village because he was discriminated against for his blood art," Jiraiya explains "was called Cherry Blossom. Just like you, he believed in his fellow comrades, the other Sanin, myself included. Would never be where we are today, without him."

"So you gave me this, because I'm like him?" Cherry asks

"Mhm." Jiraiya nods "And if you work hard enough, I'm sure you'll even surpass him. You are my student after all, you and your team will be stronger then you ever thought possible."

"Do you really think I can do it?" Cherry asks

"Of course." Jiraiya lays back down "What kind of Sensei wouldn't?"

"Thank you, Sensei." Cherry smiles and heads out

Jiraiya chuckles "She truly does remind me of you, my old friend."

Naruto and Cherry spent all night practicing together. Even though they were learning different things, they tried to help where they could. Night's kept passing, Naruto pushed himself to the brink of exhaustion, he still couldn't focus all his energy into a ball.

On the 6th night Naruto passed out for exhaustion, before Cherry could bring him back Shizune showed up.

"I'll take him back." Shizune offered

"Thank you.." Cherry nods

As Shizune picked up Naruto she noticed how warn out Cherry looked. She looked over at the tree Naruto had basically destroyed during practice, she then looked around to notice blood everywhere on the field. Cherry had gotten much paler since she last saw her.

"Why don't you come back and rest as well?" Shizune suggested

"I'm alright, please take care of Naruto." Cherry smiles

Shizune nods and heads back with Naruto, she stops and turns back to the field. Cherry took a breathe before biting her thumb, blood poured out and she trembled as the blood hardened and turned into a kunai, it soon wavered and turned back to liquid. Cherry sat down and sighed.

"Manipulating blood is harder then it looks." Cherry rubs her thumb "It hurts too."

"Well I never said it would be easy." Jiraiya walks out into the clearance "Once you get past a Kunai we'll try something else. This is just the basics of blood arts." he sighs "If only Blossom was here, he could teach you better then me."

"I'll try it again." Cherry stands up, she falls back and Jiraiya catches her

"Easy," Jiraiya picks her up "I'm taking you back to rest, blood art is dangerous if you don't let your body replenish the blood you've lost. As you get better you'll be able to do more before passing out."

"I just want to be good already." Cherry sighs

"I know, but you'll get there." Jiraiya smiles

"How will I know when i'm there?" Cherry asks

 "Oh trust me," Jiraiya chuckles "You'll know"
