(this was the original beginning to chapter 1 of the harmony phoenix)

*Poppy was squirming in her bed whimpering...something was wrong*

*In poppy's dream*

*Poppy was running away from a giant dark rainbow phoenix, it chased after her and tried to swoop down and capture her but she ducked down and hid in a bush*

*a few minutes later she ran to pop village only to find it in ruins and everyone dead including her father and branch then she hears evil laughter and the bird swoops down and grabs her as she screamed*

*poppy woke up startled and she burst into tears and hid her face in her knees*

Branch: poppy?

*Poppy looked up and she saw branch in front of her*

Branch: What happened? i heard you screaming

Poppy (Sniffling): S- sorry branch i just had a bad dream where there was this giant phoenix and it chased me and i- it destroyed the village and i was so scared y- you were dead! it and i- it felt so real *hugs branch tightly as she cried*

Branch (softly): Shh shh shh poppy...baby girl it's okay it was just a bad dream it wasn't real

Poppy (tearfully): B- but what if it DOES happen branch? what if i am torn away from you...forever?

*Poppy said as she hid underneath her blanket*

*branch lifted the blanket up carefully and looked at poppy*

Branch (softly): hey...angel come here *pats the mattress gesturing her to come to him*

*poppy crawled out from under her blanket and he hugged her*

Branch (softly): It's okay...you won't and never will be torn away from me, but if you ever were i will always find you and bring you back in my arms...i love you more than anything in the world and i could never ever bear the thought of you getting hurt

*poppy felt touched at branch's words and she felt his hands gently rub her back to soothe her*

*A few minutes later her eyes fluttered close as she snuggled close to branch*
